@purplefig good to see you back 👋🏻

@Lemonysherbet soz about af, where are you going if you don't mind me asking? We went to Thailand and was only told we wait 6 weeks on returning before trying again.

@MrsR16 that is close ☺️

I'm on with #MarchMadness this month and went to the gym tonight. First time in almost 4 weeks and my god it was hard!! I really want an early night but DH is proper randy!! (Maybe it was my tight gym pants haha!) wanna tell him to eff off but we know rejection the other way is horrid haha

starkid · 05/03/2019 20:40

@MrsR16 - I'd have taken that as a positive, but then I can be a little impatient Grin

Lemonysherbet · 05/03/2019 21:03

Hey @babysquid I'm off to Mexico for my brother in law's wedding, everywhere I've read advice (official govt advice included) it says wait 6 months when you come back and we don't go until late in april which puts us trying again in Nov :(

KatBeCool · 05/03/2019 21:24

@FlapJackered ahh, I'm getting tired of "let's see what happens tomorrow". This is torture! Absolutely no sign of AF yet. I've been reading online that temp dips can happen this late and still result in a bfp. But if this cycle is a dud, I'd rather know sooner than later so that I can stop taking progesterone.

Soda123x · 05/03/2019 21:40

@lemonysherbet Mexico is amazing ! We went for our honeymoon June last year and we waited the full 6 months before even thinking about trying hence why me and my husband are on cycle 2 now.
I do know people though who have since being to a Zika country paid privately for testing, think it's about £300 if you want to to start trying earlier and rule it out xx

smitch82 · 05/03/2019 21:44

@lemonysherbert we had our honeymoon in Mexico and we have searched and it says 3 months and you can start trying... that's what we are working on. 6 months is the recommendation from the doctors but even she said that was extra and is happy with us TTC now after our nov honeymoon.

PinkFizz19 · 05/03/2019 22:03

@OhMarnie Huge Congratulations to you! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months xxxx

@PeacockingAbout Ohh that's good. Keeping everything crossed for you that SMEP works. I think my DP would break if i requested that. Haha. We do try to do day of static smiley and then the following 2 days after that but it didn't work last month Sad How lovely would that be to have a pregnancy buddy/buddies. I love OBEM i get all the emotions in one viewing. Crying, laughing, fear...what a rollercoaster.

@Hannah192 it might be best not knowing when you O as then you can just enjoy it everytime and not feel like it's routine. Although i only managed 1 cycle of that then went straight to the OPKs 🤣 I use the Clearblue ones which you use once a day. They tell you which day to start depending on your cycle length. I tend to start around CD10 if that helps? Good luck.

Welcome to all the new and returning ladies 😊 Sending you lots of baby dust.

Ladies can i have some advice/opinions please? I'm currently CD6 AF finished with spotting on Sunday CD4 I've fine all day yesterday and today up until 30mins ago (sorry for TMI) i went to the toilet and i had some dirty CM in my underwear. As though it was the beginning or end of AF?! I've got a slight ache low down on my left side and now feeling very worried that I'm ovulating really early and this is what is causing the brown CM?! I don't usually have this so I'm a little confused. I've not started my OPKs yet as I only usually start around CD10. May do one tomorrow morning just incase and will grab DP for BD tonight but just wondering if anyone else has had anything similar or ever ovulated so early if it's that?

orangeloo · 05/03/2019 22:44

@PinkFizz19 I wouldn't worry unless the pain is very strong or concerning. Ovulation pain can be before/ during/ after. I had ovulation pain for about a week last cycle. CM wise I sometimes have nothing one day after period then a bit again the day after. Also cycle before last I ovulated day 8 or 9 so it's completely possible and possible to vary cycle to cycle. If it were me I would start with the OPK's incase. Good luck.

MrsR16 · 05/03/2019 23:30

@starkid @BabySquid @BostonFern just done another one and it's definitely positive! I'll do one again tomorrow morning to see if I'm still surging or not. I'm excited! Feel like pants though, but still!

BabySquid · 06/03/2019 07:16

So I found out last night that my brothers gf might not be able to have kids. There's only me and my brother on my side, and my DH is an only child... so now I feel even more pressure on myself that I'm the only one who can give both sides any grandchildren.
My mum didn't really ask me when we're going to have kids before, but asked the other day, now I know why. Oh my god!!! It's taken 11 months so far, what if it never happens?? 🤯😭😭

MrsR16 · 06/03/2019 07:52

@BabySquid that's awful pressure to put yourself under! I know it's difficult, but try not to think of it like that... if necessary, tell your mum that you're struggling (if she doesn't already know) and that finding out you might be the only one who can provide grandchildren has just put a massive amount of pressure, which isn't helping... sending virtual hugs to you xx

BabySquid · 06/03/2019 08:16

@MrsR16 she doesn't know, for her with both of us it was as easy as 'let's have a baby' and boom done! I'm not ready to tell her, I don't want her to think I was hiding ttc or the mc from her.

MrsR16 · 06/03/2019 08:26

@BabySquid oh sweetie, that's even more difficult! I'm the opposite so am not really much help... I'm the last of my lot to have children! However, my DH would be the first on his side (we haven't told his mum we're TTC - she's crazy enough about the BIL and his OH trying!) so I get the pressure a bit from her. It's so hard, but you'll soon have that baby! Xx

DayDreamer1707 · 06/03/2019 08:40

Morning Ladies!!

So I have had some news...As you know I have been looking at jobs. Well yesterday I was made redundant!!! I am oddly happy and relieved about it because I was so miserable and hated my job and now I get paid to look for work but I think it means baby making will be on hold.

Good luck to anyone testing...be just my luck we get caught this month 🙈

MrsR16 · 06/03/2019 08:55

@DayDreamer1707 oh goodness! Are you ok? I know you weren't a massive fan of your job, but still that's not ideal. Have you been offered a settlement agreement?

starkid · 06/03/2019 09:01

@DayDreamer1707 - aw sorry to hear that, although as you said, you were miserable and decision been made for you. Hopefully a great new opportunity arrives for you :) xxx

Lozzlepop · 06/03/2019 09:07

@Jessikka thats good that both of our bodies have gone back to "normal" fairly quickly! I know what you mean, I have a desk job too although I do tend to travel between our buildings quite a bit so get my steps in there!

@purplefig I definitely indulged last night 🙊

@MrsR16 that looks so close ☺️

@LemonySherbet sorry to hear AF arrived, hope you have an amazing trip when it comes!!

@BabySquid well done on #MarchMadness hopefully you didn't rip your pants like me 😂Thats difficult news to take but I have friends who have been told they might not be able to conceive and have gone on to have healthy pregnancies so don't put too much pressure on yourself. I am an only child too so I know how it can feel.

@DayDreamer1707 oh hun I am so sorry to hear this! Hopefully you find something soon 🤞🏻

It is absolutely pouring down here this morning, I am soaked!! CD15 patiently waiting for OV which Glow is predicting on Thursday (I am out for dinner) DTD last night as DP was feeling a bit better about things! OPKs are showing a mid range result at present so hoping that OV might be closer to the weekend when we are less tired 😂

purplefig · 06/03/2019 09:30

Morning all! CD33 for me today and still no sign of AF. I tested this morning on an IC and it looked like a negative, though held under a light I thought perhaps I could see something. I really don't trust these tests though - the reviews have pics of people who have continued to show negative on these while FRER/CB have clear BFPs. Will do a FRER on Sat AM I think (provided no AF).

@orangeloo hahaha well as you can see above I did crack - so no awards for me!!!

@BabySquid thanks! Impressed with your gym efforts - I really want to join one but lazily waiting until AF/BFN/BFP this weekend. Sorry to hear you're feeling the pressure, that sucks. Try and remember you don't 'owe' anyone anything. Big hugs.

@Lemonysherbet wow I had no idea about that! It sounds like you have got a really good attitude about it though. So many resources say it's great to spend some time before TTC working on your physical and mental health!

@DayDreamer1707 sorry to hear that, but glad to hear you're feeling relieved. FX the right opportunity pops up pronto!

KatBeCool · 06/03/2019 11:02

@DayDreamer1707 hopefully you'll find another job soon! But maybe it's for the best for you to get out of the place where you are now sooner anyway.

DayDreamer1707 · 06/03/2019 11:27

Thank so much ladies, I am definitely taking it as a sign and a blessing in disguise. I currently have 2 interviews at the end of this week so please have your FX for me. They where arranged before I knew I was being made redundant so hopefully I will be able to get more interviews just in case x

@purplefig FX AF doesnt arrive and hope you get your BFP on Saturday x

NKB88 · 06/03/2019 12:35

Hi All

Update - i'm now 10dpo/9dpiui no symptoms except achey boobs. Which is kinda making me think i'm out for this month but really that's all i've got to go on. I'm thinking pessimism will make a BFN easier to cope with and if i do get a BFP then even better. Due to test on Sat/Sun.

How is everyone else doing?

MrsR16 · 06/03/2019 13:20

@NKB88 not everyone experiences symptoms... definitely get where you're coming from with the trying to make a BFN better though! I'm CD14 today and think I've ov'd. Positive OPK last night! DH just looked at me and went "well, we better crack on tomorrow, hadn't we?" 😂 men, gotta love em!

Toka · 06/03/2019 13:25

@DayDreamer1707 oh my gosh! Hope you're OK. It's a fantastic opportunity to get into a better job (and great that you already have interviews) but can imagine it feels a bit odd for the decision to leave to have been made for you. Fingers crossed for your interviews!

Toka · 06/03/2019 13:29

@purplefig wow - am v impressed with your willpower re holding out til Saturday for frer!

@NKB88 you're a couple of days ahead of me-am planning to test on Monday /Tuesday (I mean, I'll obviously test on Monday. I have zero chill). Have no symptoms at all so also think it isn't my month. Mentioned that I had stomach cramps last night but dh thought that was probably pancake, not pregnancy, related....

NKB88 · 06/03/2019 13:52

@mrsr16
am on cd26 and had pos opk on cd15 so imagine i ov'd cd16 ish. I had my first IUI on cd15 so everything was there waiting for the egg. This is the first of everything though so i have no concept of what to look out for and all the info on the web is so conflicting. So yeah, have just found it easier to imagine a BFN then it'll be less heartbreaking. Congrats on your pos OPK. get to it, maybe this will be your month!!

@toka
its taking all my might not to test early, but as implantation sometimes doesnt happen till like 12dpo i'm trying to be sensible and be like, might not get any surges in hormones till after the weekend really. am due af on saturday so am half tempted to just wait and see if she rears her unwanted head. good luck for monday, let me know!
