I know these have been done before but I’m genuinely interested!
How long did it take you all to conceive your DC? Cycle-wise
I’ve only been ttc for 2 cycles now but love hearing about what other people’s experiences have been!

Two and a half years. 2 chemicals. First round of ivf was successful and I'm currently 37+4 weeks pregnant.

Onacleardayyoucansee · 19/02/2019 20:27

6 months and 2 months.
I was aged 27 and 32 which may be a factor.

YouBoggleMyMind · 19/02/2019 20:27

Almost 3 years. PCOS. Clomid with metformin. 1 early miscarriage and eventually conceived on round 10... DS is 14 months.

JellycatElfie · 19/02/2019 20:28

PastaSauceHoarder · 19/02/2019 20:30

Well my first baby was a lovely little surprise pregnancy when I was 20!

Currently 10 weeks with my second baby, I was really lucky to get pregnant on our second cycle. That was when I was still 22.

Youmadorwhat · 19/02/2019 20:33

3months for DC1.We never used contraception after DC1 and DC2 was born 2.5 years later.

todaywasafairytale · 19/02/2019 20:34

6 months, almost 7, and still trying.

EyeDrops · 19/02/2019 20:36

6 months for DD1, 11 months for DD2.

happymummy12345 · 19/02/2019 20:37

4 months.

cptartapp · 19/02/2019 20:40

DC1 third cycle,
DC2 first cycle.

DramaAlpaca · 19/02/2019 20:46

DC1 - 11 months
DC2 - literally first time of trying, which was a bit of a shock. DC1 was only 6 months old, I was still breastfeeding & we thought it would take ages. Nope!
DC3 - 4 months

CheerioHunter · 19/02/2019 20:51

1st - 6 / 7 weeks.
2nd - 3 weeks.

MrsC87 · 19/02/2019 20:54

Got my BFP on 4th cycle. Had been off the pill for 8 months.

NannyPear · 19/02/2019 20:54

DC1 first cycle
Current pregnancy 5 cycles

MrsRyan15 · 19/02/2019 20:59

18 months. Currently 16 weeks pregnant with DC1.

WonkyDonk87 · 19/02/2019 21:09

Almost two years. One chemical pg at around 15 months of trying. Fell pg again the first cycle after starting acupuncture - DD is 11 days old Grin

SweetheartNeckline · 19/02/2019 21:17

Oh congrats Wonky Flowers

DC1 was conceived the only time I'd ever had unprotected sex (very welcome but not planned)
DC2 took about 5 months but only 2 cycles (breastfeeding my 18 month old and periods hadn't fully returned)
DC3 was conceived within the month (I was breastfeeding my 16 month old)
DC4 took 4 months, but 3 cycles (breastfeeding my 2 year old)

I was 22 / 24 / 26 / 29 so quite young but it's a "how long is a piece of string" question. We used something roughly matching the Sperm Meets Egg Plan as I'm a control freak and wanted to maximise our chances with the breastfeeding.

eurochick · 19/02/2019 21:19

Three years (and four rounds of ivf). No idea why it took so long. We had kids of tests but were "unexplained".

eurochick · 19/02/2019 21:19

*loads not kids!

ColdCottage · 19/02/2019 21:20

To give hope to other slightly older mums I'm 37 and we fell pregnant first month this time in December. At 32 it took 2 months and at 34 it took 3 months.
