I know these have been done before but I’m genuinely interested!
How long did it take you all to conceive your DC? Cycle-wise
I’ve only been ttc for 2 cycles now but love hearing about what other people’s experiences have been!

Well for DC1 I want to say 4 months but although we were trying, work was keeping us apart at the crucial time. In fact DC1s conception was quite surprising.
DC2&3 - about 10 minutes! Fell straight away which was a big shock!

adelias · 19/02/2019 21:30

First pregnancy 2 cycles (ended in MMC at 12 weeks)
Second pregnancy 2 cycles (successful)
Third pregnancy 1 cycle (currently around 11 weeks and hoping for the best.)

7 years for us, tried clomid, HSG, partner had varicocele repair, less than 1% chance of natural conception, ended up saving for ivf....
Found out I was pregnant in April

My little boy is 8weeks old

It was the hardest 7 years of my life... but so so worth the wait!

On cycle 4 and nothing yet, age 29

Izzy12345 · 19/02/2019 23:16

Hi I have one son who is 8 months old. We were TTC for one month and by surprise it happened straight away. I've never been on the pill and was 29. Doubt the pill thing makes a difference. But I remember over thinking how long will it take etc etc. But I did the obvious things like check when I'm fertile etc.

BramRang · 19/02/2019 23:20

1-2 cycles each time, I've not had a successful pregnancy yet, though.

blueberrymuffin88 · 19/02/2019 23:25

My DD was conceived on my 2nd cycle. Really didn't expect it to happen so fast but I was 29 when we started trying and I didn't know what my fertility would be like.

thefirst48 · 19/02/2019 23:27

DS1 first cycle
DS2 fourth cycle
DD1 I don't know was a surprise 🙈

minipie · 19/02/2019 23:28

11 months DC1 - compared with many I know that’s not long but boy it felt like it, especially as everyone around me was having babies
Got blood tests, got put on thyroxine and that’s when I got pg in the end

3 months DC2

JustOneShadeOfGrey · 19/02/2019 23:37

@JustOneShadeOfGrey hi I just wanted to send you a virtual hug and 💐
25 years is such a long time, but you ended up adopting? We looked into it when ttc, it must be wonderful to be able to do that

abcriskringle · 20/02/2019 06:29

Now just pregnant with DC2 and it took 7 months
