Morning ladies, it is safe to say I have woke up in a stinker of a mood and literally really irritated...don't know why. 12DPO today and still praying for no spotting. Trying to see no spotting as a good sign either way. If AF does arrive least I may no longer spot beforehand so that's good or I could be in for some good news but I am not feeling hopeful.

@MrsH497 Sorry about your BFN, so annoying to be stuck in limbo!!

@BostonFern how did you sleep last night? I got a better nights sleep but seem to have definitely woken up on the wrong side of the bed.

@orangeloo I did the SMEP last month, found it really good for both me and the OH. I ovulate quite early though so not as much BDing for us so not as tiring. I can be miss positive when it comes to other peoples situations but when it's about myself I struggle to be as positive, we can be our own worst enemies sometimes.

starkid · 19/02/2019 08:45

@FlapJackered - nightmare... take as much time as you need xx

orangeloo · 19/02/2019 09:05

@DayDreamer1707 oh yeah I hate mornings like that! And totally agree about being our own worst enemies sometimes.

Really hoping for to see some BFP's for us all soon.

OhMarnie · 19/02/2019 09:13

@FlapJackered I'm so so sorry to hear that 😞 sending you lots of love and hugs

LokiCat · 19/02/2019 09:15

I'm so sorry @FlapJackered. Take some time for tlc for yourself Thanks thinking of you and your OH

Lozzlepop · 19/02/2019 09:24

@BostonFern @DayDreamer1707 your other halves sound like an absolute dream - mine comes home and flops on the sofa 😂

@wildrabbit welcome to the family

@FlapJackered so so sorry to hear this, sending lots of love your way!

@MrsH497 how you getting on? When was AF due?

@orangeloo we might attempt SMEP next month if this month wasn't the winner, thats if we have the energy for it!

AF due today, don't really feel any symptoms apart from a bit of bloating, had a very dodgy stomach yesterday and felt a bit tearful on the way home, fit February continues today so off to the gym at lunch!

thumper59 · 19/02/2019 09:44

5DPO. Still very bored. 😂

Had very vivid dreams last night and woke up needing a wee twice! Which I never do but am aware it would be far to early for any signs yet - doesn't stop me getting my hopes up though 😂😂

thumper59 · 19/02/2019 09:46

@Lozzlepop mine usually flops on the sofa too however I was tired last night so he went to shops and he cooked tea and did all the pots! He's a good egg- just needs a shove up the arse sometimes 😂

I have heard a lot about upset tummy being common before a BFP. Everything crossed for you. When are you going to test x

Lozzlepop · 19/02/2019 09:56

@thumper59 thats good, yeah mine will do it if he gets a shove in the right direction but he's been told that if we get pregnant he will need to help me out more around the house! Oh really? probably going to try and hold off as long as possible so thinking maybe Thursday morning?! Im out for drinks on Thursday with work and then dinner on Friday 🙈Xx

cupcakesandglitter · 19/02/2019 10:14

@FlapJackered I'm so so sorry to see this, please look after yourself 😩♥️ xx

TrashKitten10 · 19/02/2019 10:20

Just an update so we don't lose track. @FlapJackered and @FivexFive I hope I haven't caused any upset with your stats.

Let me know if any of your stats need changing (I keep a record in my phone notes ready for the next update- sad teacher organisation alert) or just change and repost the whole lot yourself :)

@Lozzlepop he is a good little egg, think it's because we have been through a lot with our past MC. I was extremely exhausted when I was pregnant before. Plus meant he could get to footy quicker 😂. Good luck for when you decide to test x

thumper59 · 19/02/2019 10:23

@Lozzlepop yeah I've read it loads of places! Eeekkkk. Fingers crossed. Yeah Thursday morning sounds good! X

Lola871 · 19/02/2019 10:42

AF now 2 days overdue but a BFN this morning, I don't have any tests at home now so will leave it for a few days and see where I'm at. Currently on CD38 so kind of annoying that my cycles can be so long! And getting longer apparently.

KatBeCool · 19/02/2019 10:54

@FlapJackered oh my God, I'm so sorry. I hope you recover quick from the surgery. Sending you all the hugs. I know it's hard right now, but it's not all entirely negative. Now you know that you can get pregnant, so it will happen again. You know that isoflavones might be helpful. And you know there is nothing wrong with you or your hubby to make a baby so you'll have one.

Babytrain89 · 19/02/2019 11:35

I'm afraid it was AF for me. Took a day for a bit of self-care. Also booked a Dr appt to talk through a few things.
Onto cycle 5....I keep hearing/reading things about how it happens straight away for people and oops it was an accident and i want to scream! Please tell me it's normal not to happen straight away.

@flapjackered I'm so so sorry to hear that! Hope you have lots of love and support at this time! Xx

KatBeCool · 19/02/2019 11:50

@Babytrain89 the thing is that there is no normal when ttc. There are averages and statistics, there are affecting factors, there are special circumstances, and so on. Surely, you look at drug addicts, alcoholics, smokers, people with all sorts of unhealthy habits, and somehow they manage to get pregnant and you think to yourself "bloody hell, how do her lady parts even function to get pregnant?" and yet here she is, with a big belly. But it's a good thing that there is no norm, otherwise those of us who fall outside of the norm would be quite depressed.

starkid · 19/02/2019 12:03

@Babytrain89 - I know, it's personally frustrating to hear those sort of stories, at always happens so quickly/by accident! But like @KatBeCool said, it's also pretty cool that 'miracles' happen to people who it would seem the conditions don't look so positive for them to conceive.
Chin up, and good luck at the doctors xx

starkid · 19/02/2019 12:10

@Babytrain89 - I don't know a huge amount of new mums, but 2 fell very quickly, but 1 who already had a child and was only 33 still took a year to conceive her 2nd :) So who knows really!

I wish I was far enough along in my TWW to symptom spot, at least makes it interesting rather than waiting around... boo

DayDreamer1707 · 19/02/2019 13:23

So far people at work are really pissing me off but still no spotting as of yet. I am looking at this as a positive as I might now be completely over the MC! I do think I spotted the day before AF before my MC but now its not days before so every cloud

@Babytrain89 sorry AF came and I hope the doctors give you some answers. I will technically be joining you in cycle 5 soon...this is our first month really really trying but the witch is just around the corner for me.

@starkid sometimes no symptoms are good symptoms too, so we can never win. I never noticed any symptoms last time, then again I wasn't looking and had no clue about TTC then (not like now where we are full of information).

@Lola871 how many DPO are you or are you not sure? You could of ovulated late, did you do any OPKs?

OhMarnie · 19/02/2019 13:28

@DayDreamer1707 "people at work are really pissing me off" 😂😂 love that, I know the feeling. I was just in Sainsbury's and there was a girl hiccuping REALLY loudly and I was getting so irritated 😂 but I have no excuse as no sign of AF, I'm just a miserable cow!

starkid · 19/02/2019 13:34

@DayDreamer1707 - I know, but it's at least slightly exciting to imagine every twinge as a possibility (even if more likely to be AF). Of course then it's just depressing when it does end up being AF... I don't know. I'm impatient basically 😂 Not good though, me always wishing days away

OhMarnie · 19/02/2019 13:39

Thought I'd better do a test just to rule it out (CD36, not tracking, no idea when or if I ovulated). There does seem to be a faint vertical line but it is a lot thinner than the control line, and I might be seeing things?! Assuming negative just wanted to check with you ladies

TTC FIRST BABY - Thread 13!
Lola871 · 19/02/2019 13:43

@DayDreamer1707 I know how you feel, I'm in a people based job and sometimes it's so irritating 😂
I don't know how many DPO I am as I'm not tracking anything, my last few cycles have been 36/29/29/33/35/35 so seem to be getting longer! Currently CD38 with no cramps or anything so far so don't think AF is imminent!

@OhMarnie can definitely see a line, but the test looks a bit flooded, did the background lighten up after a few minutes?

OhMarnie · 19/02/2019 13:46

@Lola871 yeah it looks like this now
