Yammers thread 10!

Yammer rules:

A safe place for those of you who have been trying to conceive for 6+ months and even yams aren’t helping. Come and have a good ol’ bitch and a moan without judgement. Please read the rules before posting!

The Yam Commandments are as follows;

  • Thou shalt not arrive one day and post BFP next day
  • Thou shalt not give advice to others when TTC for one month only
  • Thou shalt not participate in one-up-manship and realise TTC is shit for everyone in different ways
  • Thou shall allow posters to be fucked off with the world and everything in it at regular points in the month
  • Thou shalt not be offended by strong language
  • Thou shalt not tell everyone to eat yams
  • Thou shall accept being called a muppet for testing at 7dpo at 9pm at night
  • Thou shalt not symptom spot during the two week wait and must be prepared for a telling off if you do so.

-Thou shalt not post pictures of positive pregnancy tests. We will be delighted to hear about it but no photos, please and thank you

CD 28 spotting v light
Cd29 spotting v light
Cd30 af due nothing
Cd31 nothing
Cd 32 nothing
Cd33 nothing
Cd34 light af
Cd35 nothing
Cd36 today- nothing

I may be testing if nothing appears next two days

@Owlpatrol well done on the weight loss. I'm finding ttc is not good for my waistline! Hope AF stays away... you have more self control than me as I would have tested by now

@NoseringGirl hopefully this is ovulation this time.

I'm on cd10 and fairly confident I've ovulated either late yesterday or today. I only finished AF on Weds and Thursday was hectic so we only managed to dtd Friday and yesterday which doesn't give us the best chance. I'm wondering if the short cycles may be part of the problem?

@Owlpatrol brown is old blood. That obviously doesn't mean you are pregnant but unless it's red it doesn't mean you are if that makes sence x

@impatientmammy cd36 and looks like af has hit this morning (yesterday I was vaguely getting my hopes up) anyway I feel better for knowing now anyway!

Hey yammers sorry I popped off, I've had a strange few days. So AF turned up and was heavy etc - cool, could deal with that. It finished yesterday with barely anything and I noticed my boobs were still hurting, thought maybe today when I woke up they'd stop because AF was finished.... except they haven't. So I tested this morning, long story short I think I can see a vvv faint line, but it came up within the time and I think it looks pink too. DH can't see it so he's like "I don't think you're pregnant" etc etc which is frustrating but I just don't know what to do?

@cupcakesandglitter that sounds stressful. I know it's hard but I think the only thing you can do is wait and test again. I'm keeping everything crossed that line gets darker for you!

@Owlpatrol sorry AF got you, I hope you're doing something nice for yourself today!

@dragonmummy17 that does seem early for ovulation! How do you track it? Sorry if you've already said, my memory is awful!

No temp rises here so no ovulation, OPKs have been very definitely negative as well so I guess it was just random EWCM. Will keep watching for signs and DTD anyway just in case!

@NoseringGirl sorry it wasn't finally ovulation. I track by cm... my ewcm is usually pretty obvious. I did use opks for a little while but the cheaper ones didn't ever show positive. I used cb digital for a few cycles which did show positive and confirmed what I thought with the cm, especially the ewcm and the timing of it, but they are too expensive to use every month

@dragonmummy17 I know what you mean about the digital tests, so expensive! Sounds like you recognise your body's signs well enough though! How long is it usually between getting the EWCM and AF appearing?

@NoseringGirl EWCM is a bitch, I get it randomly throughout my cycle too 😩 at least it's an excuse to DTD 😏

Finally CD1 here after a whooping 97 day cycle. This cycle had better be short (and preferably ovulatory)

4 days late from verybtefular cycle. Had really got hopes up, told OH last night we had been lucky this cycle. Period just started at work.

Thought maybe miscarriage, rushed home, took test, just negative. Boring old negative. Feel shit and like body is slowly giving up. Yuck.

Anyway, back to work! Fabulous!
