Good luck for tomorrow @MrsMarsden19 xx

SidSparrow · 08/02/2019 23:12

@Gilly2505 - thank you! I have only just been able to check back here now. DD is 10 months and I have an exam next week so things are hectic, which is good because it is keeping my mind busy.

I will be checking on now and again for procrastination!

I thought it would be handy to post some of my pre AF symptoms from first pregnancy.

Definitely in the week before AF was due I got a cold sore, and I was certainly more tired - I was into meditation at the time and I kept falling asleep which was unusual for me at the time, then about a couple of days beforehand I could feel my boobs aching a little, nothing mad, just noticeable. I had an inkling I was but with so many BFN before I had resigned myself to believeing everything was in my imagination. I tested the day AF was due and voila. I don't remember how the old uterus felt.

Currently I feel a bit crampy like but my periods have only just returned so I think I am sensitive to any sort of sensation after months of feeling nothing.

Good luck everyone!!

sukisydney · 09/02/2019 06:42

POAS this morning. Nothing within the 3 minutes but I just looked again after (ahem...) 11ish hours (!) and there is an obvious 2nd line, looks pink-ish but def greyer than the control. Evap right? Right? Only really asking because there's another thread called "the myth of evap lines" where someone says a line is a line even if it appears hours later which has confused me somewhat... Hmm PS I'm sweltering in Oz, so diff time of day for me [sun]

workinprogressmum · 09/02/2019 07:07

Yeah I would only trust a result in the time it says not hours later, sorry @sukisydney!

My boobs are utterly killing me. AF due tomorrow. Going to get a FRER today to test tomorrow's FMU. Got everything crossed after chemical pregnancy last month.

sal1987 · 09/02/2019 08:10

So it's Saturday morning, 10dpo, AF has not arrived yet the backache, stomach cramps and horrendous mood swings are still around!! I'm having a girls night tonight so decided to take a test. Obviously it came back as a BFN, but if I looked closely and stared at it long enough I could maybe see a very slight line, don't know if I'm imagining it but it doesn't come up in photos.

I have been reading everyone's posts, I hope there are some BFP's soon and sorry to hear about the chemical/mc's. Sending baby dust to you all.

MrsMarsden19 · 09/02/2019 11:23

BFN this morning after a BFP on Tuesday Confusedlooks like this month isn't my month! Good luck ladies!!! (Still no AF! Aching boobies and terrible mood!) which isn't normal for ME. Let's wait and see 🥰💕💕

Elle187 · 09/02/2019 11:39

Oh @MrsMarsden19 I'm heartbroken for you! So frustrating! 😭💕

Peachyx2505 · 09/02/2019 15:57

@MrsMarsden19 🙁 I'm still not giving up hope until af arrives xx

How are you other ladies doing? Any ninja testing?!!!? I've stuck to my pledge! Purely because all I have is a digi and there's no way I'm wasting that! My other tests haven't arrived yet 😮 so I guess I'll be testing on Tuesday morning Xx

Broodyaf · 09/02/2019 17:47

🙋‍♀️ My name is Broody and I'm a ninja tester 🙈
8DPO BFN this morning 🙄

HarryPottersSecretSister · 09/02/2019 17:47

Peachy I've caved. despite all my notions of self restraint. I'm a vegetarian who woke up desperate for chicken this morning and still felt queasy and odd. Bought a pound shop cheapie when shopping today and did it at around 5 this evening.

Could you please have a look at this and be blunt: am I hallucinating? I'm not asking DH to look as I think I could be losing my mind. It's 6 days til AF is due, evening wee on a cheap test. Can you see a line? Am I having a glass of wine tonight or not?

Bfp or AF due 14th feb!!
HarryPottersSecretSister · 09/02/2019 17:49

Aw broody and mrsmarsden there's hope yet!!

Elle187 · 09/02/2019 17:51

100% a line! No wine for you!!! Congratulations!!! 💕💕💕

HarryPottersSecretSister · 09/02/2019 17:52

sukisydney definitely do another!! I wouldn't completely trust a test after that many hours however none of my positive tests ever changed even after months (I kept them in the baby books #sicko)

HarryPottersSecretSister · 09/02/2019 17:55

Really Elle??? Thank you so much for replying. I feel like bursting into tears (obviously because I'm very happy but also because you've confirmed that my mind isn't playing tricks on me). Some serious self doubt going on lately.

Extremely early so I'll remain hopeful yet practical for the minute. I have 2 more cheapies from today's purchase and a first response from last month so I'll try again first thing.

Thanks again x

Elle187 · 09/02/2019 17:55

@HarryPottersSecretSister sorry I forgot to tag you in the last message!

I have stuck to my pledge too! No testing until Wednesday! I've just accepted that if I am pregnant I have no symptoms! Had so many pregnant clients in at work recently that have said they felt nothing before testing and one client that's now 16 weeks and has only had sore boobs for the whole time so there's still hope for me yet I guess! Not holding my breath though! Xx

Elle187 · 09/02/2019 17:57

@HarryPottersSecretSister yes definitely test again to be sure as it's still early days but I saw that line clear as day without having to enlarge the image!! 🙌🙌

HarryPottersSecretSister · 09/02/2019 17:58

Elle I didn't know I was pregnant with my first daughter until 10 weeks - obviously not entirely planned but the absence of any symptoms whatsoever made me not even consider I could be pregnant. Put absence of a period down to work stress.

With my son- nothing. Very planned but no symptoms.

Peachyx2505 · 09/02/2019 18:29

@HarryPottersSecretSister Yay💕😍 what a beaut of a ninja test! Tentative congratulations.... I expect to see a pic first thing!

@Broodyaf still got everything crossed for you xx

Broodyaf · 09/02/2019 18:36

@HarryPottersSecretSister a tentative congrats from me too! A line is a line and ur line has colour too - I'm with @Peachyx2505 @expecting to see a test first pic thing tomoro morning lol.

Oh this is exciting, I love seeing people getting their BFPs, even though I've been TTC unsuccessfully for so long, I still love seeing others peoples dreams come true, I get totes emosh for them lol

SidSparrow · 09/02/2019 19:37

@HarryPottersSecretSister Ahhhh definite line!!! How exciting! Grin Congratulations.

I would say that today I'm starving!! I feel like I could eat all day. But that could be anything. I did feel a little tingling, no cramps, but a tingling. Hmmmm

I have promised myself I won't test until this time next week if no sign of AF. Still got a week of this madness!

Baba11 · 09/02/2019 20:16

@HarryPottersSecretSister congrats. Defo a line clear as day.

I'm staying strong and boy tested. Have no symptoms so waiting for af
