Dreading telling DH that we're definitely done. He is usually quite quiet about how much he wants a baby, but he was very vocal this month. We have had a terrible year and it would be so nice to have something to look forward to.

I'll stop before I cry. Thank you all for being so nice to me over the past few days, it's really helped me get through it. You're all so wonderful 😊

@Lozzlepop i also fancied a October baby, I am a November baby and we are full of birthdays around November and December but to be fair now I'm actively trying I'm really not fussed about it! It's become the least of my worries haha! X

@Lozzlepop I know what you mean... I would have liked a September baby tbh but I worked out (cuz I have too much time on my hands😩😂) that if we conceived this month we'd be due approx. 2/11/2019 which is days before my birthday! But really I'd be happy with a birth at any time of the year - I just want a baby so much!

@thumper59 sorry she got you. I'll be using OPKs from about CD8 and expect I'll get a positive on CD14 (I did on cycle 1). I bought a box of 60 fairly cheaply on amazon, so I'm not too worried about starting early as I have plenty left from last cycle.

CD4 here, had a dream this morning that I got a BFP, was pretty disappointed when I woke up and realised it was only a dream. Feeling less tearful today, but I've had a cracking headache since last night.

Yeah, I'm dreading the chat with DH. It won't sink in at all. He won't go see anyone to get help with giving up smoking. I wouldn't even mind if it was one or the other, but both is 1. Expensive and 2. Killing his sperm (it's gotta be!) so we shall see what happens. Maybe when we hit a year, that might help him realise xx

@MrsR16 sorry to hear about your crash, I hope it wasn't a bad one?
I have the same problem with my DH and drinking also asked him not to spend more than a few minutes in the sauna and he was in there this weekend for 10 minutes and I burst into tears and he promised never to do it again 😂😭

@MrsR16 glad yoyvare ok, a shame about your poor car. Hopefully it sinks in for your DH without too much persuasion from you, usually best when they work it out themselves. I have a bad enough time trying to get DP to make dinner (he’s begrudgingly doing it now) but I worry about what it will be like when we have a baby (getting ahead of myself here as always 😂) x

@BostonFern Thankyou, I'm glad my cycle has gone right back to normal though! Albeit the period cramps are a bit worse 😫. I think I'll start around the same! I believe I ovulated around CD 16 last cycle.

@Lozzlepop no I'll take one any month I'm not fussy! Haha.

My OH isn't to bad. He'll do whatever he's asked to do but he never needs asking because I'll do most of the work before I sit down, although last night I came in to tea fully made, the hoovering done AND a wash on! Just made me a little nervous as he'd not separated any colours he'd just banged a load in 🙄😂

@thumper59 your comment about the washing made me laugh. I'm lucky in that DH does all the housework in our house (don't worry- he's not a fantasy perfect husband- he's a pain in the arse in other ways 😂) and has now started doing the washing. Out loud I'm saying 'thank you DH for doing all the washing' whilst biting my tongue and not saying 'Stop washing my white flannels with your black trousers, you're turning them grey, I hope you didn't put my bras in without a lingerie bag and for goodness sake say you washed my jumpers on delicate?!'. Shouldn't complain haha.

Looks like AF is kindly buggering off now. Got an exercised pack week and a chilled weekend and big walk to come. Best to try and keep the mind busy. The OH is just as excited to get BDing as me, hope it's for the same reason 😂.

Hey girls! took a break from posting as I was trying to go a month or so without stressing. Anyway I’m around 10-12dpo, done this CB but didn’t see anything at first, looked around an hour later and saw this line. Does anyone know if this is possible or if it’s most definitely an evap line? I’ve no pee left to do a FRER just now 😂 so I’ll do another in the morning just wanted some opinions on this!

@TrashKitten10 thanks love will do! I know CB are apparently bad for evap lines but I also read a post saying an evap line will never be blue or pink it would be grey as blue or pink only shows when HCG is present.. this is all too much thinking 😂😂

@DayDreamer1707 last month was my first off the pill in 18months, but looking back at Clue they were usually 28-31 days in the two years before I was on the pill. They were very stressful years though, so I'm hoping that my newly found, less stressful lifestyle means that they become a bit more regular too (although I suppose it wasn't a huge range on the whole).

So the chat kinda happened without me really prompting! He knows that he needs to stop smoking/drinking to help us conceive. He's annoyed with work at the moment and knows that drink isn't the answer. I didn't really have to say anything! I told him that my peak fertility's been and gone, which surprised him a little xx

Morning everyone. So it's been a crazy few days. I finally took an IC test to put my mind at rest and it was a bfp! I've confirmed a couple of days later with a FRER. I'm completely in shock as I'd convinced myself af was on the way. I'm just praying now for a sticky bean. I feel pretty terrified right now that I'll lose it. So I've just switched to whole new set of worries 😂 I'll definitely be hanging round these parts for a bit longer if you don't mind. Thank you for all being so great xx

@BostonFern your cycles are slightly longer than mine then, I have been averaging about 26 days. Mine have never been particularly bang on either though.
