@stormtrooperjulian did you have any side effects from maca root? Why did you start taking it? I read a bit about it and it seems to do wonders for post-menopausal women but not many mentioned ttc.

@KatBeCool I started taking it as I’d done some reading on supplements etc for fertility and Maca kept coming up as one good for balancing hormones, and after being on hormonal contraception for so long (and not having ‘normal’ periods yet after having my implant out) I thought my hormones could possibly do with some balancing! I didn’t get any side effects.

Currently CD17 and around 3/4DPO. Don't think we DTD did at the right time but just FX crossed for a normal cycle this month and that will make me feel a lot more optimistic. I do feel like this cycle will be good though 🤞

CD 17.
It's my first month off the pill and I should of ovulated yesterday according to my app. However I'm not sure!
So could be 1-3 DPO. Have to just see
Not holding much hope out for this month with only just being off the pill. However I still have everything crossed. 🙏🏼

@thumper59 @DayDreamer1707 I am also in the TWW- should be 7DPO now with af due Sunday but a bit sceptical of that as think I may have ovulated a bit later than the app predicted but who knows!

Feeling constantly quite anxious, haven't had anything approaching a pregnancy symptom either. Feels like a distant dream at this point!

It's so annoying not knowing. Are you quite fresh off BC too? I took an opk Sunday and one yesterday. They was Asda ones I got two lines not too dissimilar, but not darker then the control line so I just don't know what's going on however I've read not great things about the Asda ones now! Trying to not bother with them because they just make me stressed out but also a little obsessed with doing them 😫😂. I had every other symptom of ovulating from Sunday- yesterday anyway so maybe we'll be ok.

Try not to feel anxious! You probably wouldn't feel much different so early so don't let feeling the same get you down. X

I am also 2ww - on CD17, but had signs of early ovulation with temp dip then rise at cd10 and EWMC and some ovulation sorting. No positive or even faint OPKs. So god knows what is going on!

I am guessing today is between either dpo 3 - 6. My AF is like clockwork and due on the 27th (27day cycle).

Gonna try and hold out til just before to test, but we'll see.

I'm in the tww too! Cd20 and af is due on Tuesday but I normally get spotting first so I could be put out of my misery at the weekend.

Nothing close to a symptom but not really surprising as we weren't able to time dtd right this month.

I so know what you mean @Bettythecat about it seeming like a distant dream! 😭

I've never known the months go so slow!

Don't know how I'm going to hold out these next 2 weeks. Well AF due on the 28th so here's to the slowest 12 days, and that's only if my cycle is 'normal' after coming off the pill. Can't help but wonder why men have it so easy 🙄😂

@thumper59 we are practically the same. I am due AF on the 26th of this month. I will be happy if obviously I get a BFP but I will also be happy for an AF that is normal.

@Bettythecat Oh are you thinking you are less days past ovulation then? I never got any pregnancy symptoms last time until I found out I was pregnant. Try not to symptom spot, it will drive you mad, unless they are glaringly obvious.

@stormtrooperjulian CONGRATULATIONS!!that is a serious line! Let us know how your DH takes the news. Are you going to tell any of your family or friends, or will you wait with that?

@cupcakesandglitter any sign of ovulation/positive opks for you? I am still waiting, starting to panic I have messed up my cycle with these Soy Isoflavones 😕

@DayDreamer1707 @thumper59 yes I’m cutrently in the tww, on 11 dpo with af predicted tomorrow. No signs of af coming yet had some mild cramping and some light spotting yesterday. Might test at the weekend as I know we dtd at the right time but it’s only cylce 1 after coming off bc so not holding out much hope as not had a withdrawal bleed yet.

@thumper59 no I had my coil removed last August. We DTD once in my fertile window in September and have been actively trying in the months since then. The OPKs I've got say that if the line is almost the same or darker than the control line then it's a positive so maybe you actually did get a positive on the OPKs? I know what you mean about getting obsessed though- I'm the same with temping so have stopped doing it so religiously as it was making me miserable reading into every dip or rise and obsessing about testing at the right time!

@DayDreamer1707 yeah because I have a regular cycle and normally O from CD 14-20 and this month Natural Cycles predicted O on CD13 which was the day after my positive OPK and 2 days before proper temp rise. Could be right but maybe a day or two out? I didn't get my usual EWCM this month either- trying not to read too much into that but also slightly worried I may have messed with ovulation because I feeling quite anxious with work and TTC.

@Bettythecat try your best to relax, need to enjoy TTC and stay positive. You are probably reading into things too much, all will be good.

@FlapJackered still nothing? I wouldn't go as far as calling it "messed up" yet but sounds like it's changed. Maybe your body tried to ovulate sooner when you got that almost positive opk and just didn't do it. Mainly I read that isoflavones help ovulate but not necessarily sooner. What CD are you now?

@Lozzlepop fingers x'd for you! We are in the same situation but I did have a withdrawal bleed as normal so just waiting,well hopefully not waiting! On AF in 12 days

@Bettythecat well when I read the instructions it just said 2 lines was positive, but when I read online or put a pic up people said it was just close. I don't know, i haven't been taking my temp I don't think I'm going to bother not in these first few months because it can't be good to become so obsessive! It's so hard not to though. I never knew it could be such work! Spend all these years trying to not get pregnant and now it's all I can think about.

I have another Q. Maybe I'm being dopey but I'm so new to all this. I ovulated ( I think) approx 2 weeks into my cycle. However when people miss 1-2 pils and fall pregnant do they ovulate straight after not taking the pill and if that's the case is there a chance I could of ovulated after my withdrawal bleed?

(Sorry if I don't make sense- it makes sense in my head!)
I think the chances are I ov'd sunday-yesterday but my body is feeling so different at the min since coming off BC I really don't know what's what!

@DayDreamer1707 yeah same here. A BFP would be the dream! However just to know my cycle is somewhat 'normal' will also be a bit of a relief!

@KatBeCool to be fair I don't normally ovulate until cd19 and I am cd16 today. Normally CB is on high fertility by now though and it is still low. I am just worried it's going to be delayed. 😩

@FlapJackered hugs! Don't worry yet. I've had CB go from low straight to peak without ever showing high. Are the cheapies getting at least a little darker?
