@Betty oh no, I'm sorry you've got the same issue, although it's nice to know I'm not alone. I completely understand what you mean by emotional intimacy although we don't have that problem. I genuinely don't know what the issue is. We've had the conversation so, so many times and it usually results in me crying (just how I deal with things) and him getting frustrated and shouting at me. it will change for a week or so then revert back. I came off the pill in May last year and it took us until October just to dtd in the FW (when I fell pg).
He doesn't watch porn, he definitely isn't having an affair... he maintains that he thinks I'm beautiful and is very tactile - always holding my hand or cuddling me on the sofa, strokes my hair. Just literally no interest in sex. It's so frustrating.

That's fab news re the scan @Twittle - did you tell them about the mc? Or are they getting you in because of the temps etc?

Rather because LMP was MC so they are unsure of dates and also because I mentioned to her that I have feeling really awful with the cramps, spotting and dizziness.

It's the lowest temp I've ever recorded!
I wondered if the cold weather makes a difference but my house isn't any colder as we have the heating on. Weird!

@edidxb I hope you managed to get in some BDing last night.
Its so hard to get the timing right isn't it for both of you. I am already anxious about not getting the timing right this cycle. I really want to say to DP "Look, this is when I am likely to be fertile, I would appreciate it if we could really get down to business at this point and everyday around this point" But that would have him running for the hills I think! We have a very active sex life, but I worry that at ovulation time he suddenly won't be in the mood.

Thanks all for asking about Berlin, we had such a great time. It is a wonderful city. If you've not been then go! Everyone is so friendly and don't make you feel guilty for not speaking German, though we did anyway. DP tried a bit from what he remembered. The holocaust stuff was hard to see and terribly moving (my dad's family are Jewish though it would be hard for anyone to see).

We had a bit of drama. Two cyclists collided behind us when we were crossing a road. One old guy came off his bike and was out cold for a few seconds then turned over and had blood pouring out of his head. I've never seen anything like it in real life, it was properly pumping out. No one was really helping him so I ran over and shoved my glove behind his head to stop the flow but it was everywhere and shockingly bright red. I don't think it was as bad as it looked though, heads bleed quite badly - or so says DP (MMA fan).
Luckily, as there were several protest marches going on at the time, there just happened to be a police riot van around the corner so they came over and bandaged him up until the ambulance arrived.
The medical emergency vehicles were quite funny. They were really old school looking and the sirens were like something for the 1960's!

So that was an experience!

@edidxb oh no I’m so sorry. Is there really no chance for tonight? Why do men have to be such idiots sometimes!

@Ratherbe I’m sorry to hear this too, it must be a strain on your relationship, particularly while ttc. My ex from many many years ago didn’t want sex very often, I remember it not making me feel good, so I can completely understand how you feel.

Just sitting in family court waiting room for a bullshit pre trial thing and I swear all the skip-rats in the place with there 3 teeth, smoking fags and tracksuit bottoms are pregnant! Life is such a bitch :(

Was hoping to do smep plan with dtd every other day from cd8 then everyday when positive OPK but there’s just no way I’ll get DH to do it when he’s that stressed 😥

Oh @tigsy that's so annoying about the court dates. I totally know how it feels..........not going to court but the whole fertile week while other things are going on. Hopefully it will be some sort of stress relief for you.

I have just looked ahead and I can see my next FW is while we are away (the trip that caused the arguments!) so that's probably a good thing. Not that we have booked it yet....

The sad news of today is that while my DH is now speaking to me, he is out for dinner tonight for work. It has been organised for a good month now so it's nothing to do with the argument. Just really really bad timing!!! I have had lots of ewcm today so it must be the "peak" day according to TCOYF.

I went to acupuncture which was really painful today which it usually isn't. And it was really cold in the room........it's so cold in Dubai at the moment. 13 on my way to work this morning!

@frazzle - glad you had a good time in Berlin. I am a history teacher originally so I love all the history elements of it there. I am so impressed you got involved in the accident. It must have been terrifying. On my way to work a few years I stopped as a motorcycle guy had come off his bike and it was awful - there was all kinds of stuff coming out of his helmet. I rang the ambulance and as I was doing so, someone else stopped and took over with him. I am first aid trained but I went into shock. It was awful. Hope you are OK after the experience.

This is how much of an insensitive douchebag my DH can be ... I came home tonight after having my braces fitted on my teeth, and he asked to have a look. You might expect him to say something like "they're really not that noticeable, not too bad at all" but no, he goes "eurgh!! You look like you've got chunks of bread stuck to your teeth" 😠

Did you say you have invisilign? I had those for a year on my top teeth around 9 years ago now.

@edidxb I sometimes find acupuncture painful, last week he stuck one in my ankle and I leapt about a foot in the air, it didn’t hurt my ankle at all, but I felt it in the bottom of my foot. Very strange! I can’t imagine it being cold in Dubai... well... 13 isn’t that cold... it’s positively balmy compared to here!

@Betty my friend had braces recently and she now has lovely teeth. Give DH a slap! x

@tigsyboo yes Invisalign, I'm not surprised people lose weight with these things, the trays are a nightmare to take off and my teeth feel really odd with these composite bits stuck to them, my bite is all wonky. Do you get used to it?

Yes you get used to them, but you will feel like that each time you get a new tray! I lost weight tho too!! About 1stone (which I needed to at the time!!)

I’m so fed up today.
I feel really miserable. Last time I was at court I was pregnant and didn’t know it, and when I found out I thought ‘next time I’ll have a bump!’ (Which is petty but would piss off the ex-wife no end!) and instead I’m standing there being told I look skinny by the barrister as ‘how didn’t you put weight in over Xmas!!’ I could have cried... but as always, you force a smile and cover it up.... because heaven forbid you tell the truth and someone else feels uncomfortable :(

Betty what an insensitive comment! I had invisalign but it was a waste of money as I didn't complete them and then my teeth went back to their old alignment. How long do you have to wear them for? You'll get loads better at getting them off!

tigsy I hate those planned in advance things which I imagined doing pregnant and then they come round and I'm not pregnant. It's not too petty to want to piss off the ex-wife, she sounds awful!

My thrush seems loads better though now I've started spotting quite a bit. I wonder if the pessary irritated my cervix.

Kin yes that's the danger, my childminder did the same, she had her Invisalign taken off for her wedding and hasn't had them put back on, so they're moving back. I think you can get back on the wagon for a few hundred quid 😬
