Hi ladies,

Just got on the train - what a long day!

@tigsyboo absolutely love the mugs! How was your afternoon with the dickhead 😡 I hope he didn't upset you.

@BettySwoll0cks that's fab 😍 do you mind me asking where it's from, if you know? DHs birthday is coming up & he'd love that.

@edidxb I can't complain about my long day when I know you're doing that tonight 🙈 good luck, I hope it's going well 🙈

@Frazzlerock your work sound lovely 🎉🎉

First two meetings went very, very badly. She was a real nightmare. I then took her for lunch & we had a good hour & a half to burn... & I realised that her over confident, arrogant persona is a facade. She is a really large lady & clearly has a very unhealthy relationship with food... (when a client pushed back on her in a meeting, first thing she did was get out a packet of wine gums... in the meeting 🙈) clearly insecure, which she admitted, but at least I understand her a bit better, and gave her a few very tactless pointers, she performed much better in the afternoon. So not as bad as I anticipated at all 👍🏼🍸

edidxb · 16/01/2019 18:25

Ah, I am pleased @ratherbe it went well. It's often the way that below these big personalities people are often not confident at all.

I made it home about 9pm. The talent was incredible and I really enjoyed it but I did stand for 2 hours and have to deal with some poor behaviour but as a whole - wow!!

I am CD11 today but no ewcm yet which I usually have at this stage which is a bit depressing. I wasn't ready for a longer cycle.

@Frazzle I am so pleased that they at least gave you the time. My work is the same. It might be very full on but with my 2 miscarriages in the last year they gave me as much time as I wanted both time. In fact my Principal even came to the hospital at 11pm the first time when I got admitted by ambulance. So I can't complain at all.

tigsyboo · 16/01/2019 18:37

Hi all

I'm glad all of your days went well!
The dickhead came in and I completely blanked him. I carried on like I could see through him. I decided him seeing he was not bothering me... but I was clearly ignoring him.... made me look stronger! And it worked! Within half an hour he has fucked off into a private office!

ratherbeshowjumping · 16/01/2019 18:45

Pleased it went well for both of you @edidxb & @tigsyboo 😘

Cracking up on the train, young professional in the seat opposite me. Nice suit, nice watch, looks very smart... headphones in... but clearly hasn't plugged them into his phone properly & Push It - Salt n Peppa is blasting into the carriage.
He's completely oblivious 😂

BettySwoll0cks · 16/01/2019 18:55

Brilliant @ratherbe, keep us posted as to what else is on his playlist 😂 My 'field of fucks' card was actually an internet meme so I'm not sure where it originated, sorry.

@edidxb or any others with long cycles have you tried Clomid?

Frazzlerock · 16/01/2019 19:00

@Betty Clomid just helps you to ovulate which we all do. It's really good for PCOS if you don't ovulate. But comes with risk of multiples. I would only consider taking it if my very long annovulatory cycles came back

ratherbeshowjumping · 16/01/2019 19:01

No worries @edidxb xx
We've had one I didn't know. We've now got Right Here, Right Now -Fatboy Slim.
Still no clue 😂

ratherbeshowjumping · 16/01/2019 19:01

@BettySwoll0cks sorry not @edidxb !! Xx

Pegase · 16/01/2019 19:27

Love that rather!

BettySwoll0cks · 16/01/2019 20:23

@Frazzlerock ah ok. I thought Clomid also controlled when you ovulate too (12 days-ish after you take it)

InDreamland · 16/01/2019 22:23

@Rose68 I'm not doing anything, have you got any tips? Is there anything you're doing to improve it? I'm willing to consider anything legal.

@Kinsters yes I was born in the UK. I have some family just outside if KL in PJ. Then family in Sabah, Ipoh and Penang. I miss the food! Oh the food is just the best! How long are you out there for?

@tigsyboo LOL those mugs are fab! Good on ya for blanking him, hopefully he'll start treating you with respect.

@Frazzlerock your work sound really nice.

@ratherbeshowjumping good job on having a chat with her. Kinda feel sorry for her now. Haha that guy on the train!

I'm on CD13 and having EWCM now so hopefully I get my static smiley soon, like tomorrow I hope.

Rose68 · 16/01/2019 22:41

@Indreamland yes! I am taking a few. Ubiquinol is probably top of my recommendation list, but it is expensive. And vitamin D spray. Dhea can make a big difference, but you have to be careful with it as it’s not suitable for everyone, as you are under 40 I’m not sure if you would need dhea. Other things I am taking are bee propolis, royal jelly, vitamin C, pregnacare conception, ferroglobin (iron supplement), evening primrose oil. xxx

Kinsters · 17/01/2019 00:41

InDreamland we've been here three years and don't have any firm plans to return to the UK. Originally we were going to be here for 3-5 years but then DH's mum died and the project that he's here to work on is taking longer than expected. So who knows! I do like living here and the quality of life we can afford is pretty great plus I love that the sun rises and sets at the same time everyday. Family and friends are so far away though... The food is amazing and I'm not surprised you miss it! We're spending CNY in Ipoh because that's where my FIL is from.

ratherbe tigsy and edidxb glad your days went OK! How can someone not realise music is not coming out of their headphones?!

Frazzle that's rubbish timing and placement for the appointment. Do you know how long it will take to get your results?

edidxb · 17/01/2019 02:13

@Rose68 I am also taking various supplements for egg quality. I am taking ubiquinol, Alpha-Lipoic acid, Vitamin E, Vitamin D, Pregnacare conception and my 2 lots of Chinese herbs. It's quite a lot to take each day but hopefully it will do something. I read about DHEA and I don't think it's right for me at the moment. Maybe in the future.

I am sitting here in my dressing gown and I must go and put my makeup on and go to work.......so tired!

BettySwoll0cks · 17/01/2019 06:51

I'm on Viridian pro-conception, Maca root powder, vit c (1000mg), evening primrose oil, vit d oral spray.

InDreamland · 17/01/2019 08:27

Wow @Rose68 @edidxb @Bettyswoll0cks that's a lot of supplements. I'm gonna have to look into them. Big question is are your OHs taking anything for sperm quality? My DH is 40 and I worry it may be his swimmers that may contribute to the mc's we've had. Although hopefully once we get these private tests we'll be better informed and can do something as I can't deal with a 3rd loss.

@Kinsters that's great you are there so long. Was considering a trip at the end of the year to see my grandmother (last surviving grandparent) and hop over to Singapore as quite a few of my cousins have moved out there. Hope you enjoy Ipoh - maybe a trip up Cameron Highlands?

tigsyboo · 17/01/2019 08:43

Now.... I'm the exception to this rule.....
I started off taking all manner of stuff, but after a google about nearly all of it I was reading it's all pros and cons.... I read a lot about something called Vitex which is supposed to bring Ov forward, but then others kink it to MCs. I'm confident the pregnacare was messing up my cycles as 4 days after I stopped taking it (cd14) I Ovd I think (cd18)
I was taking b6 to regulate cycles... but again when I stopped I seemed to regulate?

I guess I'm worried if I take too much how does your body know what to do with it all??

So I've decided for now to stop it all apart from folic acid.

I don't know the benefit of.....
vit d or c
Or evening primrose if anyone could explain??

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 09:08

@Tigsy vitamin d and vitamin c are meant to help with egg quality I believe. Particularly vitamin d which, in the UK over winter, is quite important. The spray form is better than the tablet form. EPO helps improve the quality of CM so helps the sperm get to the egg.

@Indreamland My DH is taking Wellman conception and high dose vitamin C. We were both taking maca root before but we haven’t restarted that since the mc. Your DH’s age is fine, men don’t have the same issues with age as women do, sperm quality does very gradually decrease with age, but it’s not the steep decline that us gels have to contend with.

tigsyboo · 17/01/2019 09:34

@Rose68
What's the instructions with Epo as since MC I have nothing re CM!!! Is it up until O then stop? What dose?

Also I'll post the pregnacare out tomorrow.. it's just a stamp don't worry about that xx

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 09:43

Yes that’s right, just up until ovulation. I restarted it on my bfn last month. Also definitely use pressed if you don’t have much cm.

DH is going to be away for ovulation this month, if I go on what happened last month I will ov on cd14, which will be Saturday. DH goes away Friday morning 😞

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 10:19

@Tigsy Thank you! x

tigsyboo · 17/01/2019 10:28

Thanks @Rose68

I may try that.
DH moan to buggery about preseed!! He hates lube bulldogs we've agreed only the week leading up to Ov. I've also tried grapefruit juice.

So my first low reading today on CBFM
and temp has rocketed!! Wtf that means I dunno!
Got killer headache and just not in the mood today :(

tigsyboo · 17/01/2019 10:29

Lube bulldogs?!! Meant to say 'lube so we have agreed'.... 😂

Kinsters · 17/01/2019 10:32

Rose you'd definitely still be in with a chance! If you oved on Saturday then Thursday is O-2 which is supposedly the most fertile day so if you managed to dtd either Thursday evening or Friday morning you should be fine.

InDreamland I've never been to Cameron Highlands! Hoping to get up there one day. We go to Ipoh every CNY and always eat loads of delicious food so I'm looking forward to it!

I'm taking pregnacare and so is DH. I was thinking about getting some ubiquinol for me as well. I'll see if it's in the shops otherwise I'll buy it online tomorrow. I guess it would take a few months to have an effect on fertility?
