Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

xx

@Em39ma

Do you feel sick all day??

I used to feel sick all day every day and couldn't eat but its died off now. I literally couldnt even watch a jamie oliver food program 🤢🤢😂😂

@lnfb ah fab! Excellent news x

Em39ma · 23/02/2019 22:01

No not all day @chocolatecake08
Comes and goes, the gagging I actually find worse than the getting sick.
I also have way to much wind!!! TMI from both places😂

chocolatecake08 · 23/02/2019 22:03

@Em39ma 😂😂

Just pump away you will feel better😂😂

lnfb · 23/02/2019 22:29

I'm the same with the gas, it's horrible! But does help you feel better so I agree better out than in! Blush Blush

Em39ma · 24/02/2019 06:22

It’s definitely out, can’t really control it😂😂

chocolatecake08 · 24/02/2019 07:48

@Em39ma 😂😂😂😂😂

Luxembourgmama · 25/02/2019 09:44

How is everyone doing? I'm still ok . With a scan booked for March 7th. Feels like an eternity.

lnfb · 25/02/2019 20:55

@luxembourghmama Glad you’re doing okay, it’s so hard waiting for scans but sending you lots of positive energy for it. I’m okay, nearly fainted standing on the train today 😂 that’s a new one for me!
The effect of pregnancy is amazing really ❤️ X

chocolatecake08 · 26/02/2019 07:15

@Luxembourgmama

Glad your feeling ok.

Im still feeling abit sick 🤢

Luxembourgmama · 27/02/2019 17:28

How's everyone doing? I've still got cramping but no bleeding. I don't remember cramping on my first successful pregnancy. Could it be due to this being a subsequent pregnancy?

Em39ma · 28/02/2019 08:50

Well I’ve been 🤮 since 4.30am, I’m shattered and still 🤢.
I’m hoping it’s a good sign, didn’t have anything like this last time

jacquesjacques · 01/03/2019 18:25

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod. I am 8dpo (I think) and did a FRER on a whim and it's only bloody positive.

Shit bigger bollocks fuck, I don't know how to feel. Obviously I'm thrilled but I'm also terrified and kind of resigned to the fact it will probably be over soon.

For those that don't know, this is my fifth pregnancy, and I have no children. One termination around 10 years ago, followed by two chemicals/very early losses and one mmc (at 11+6, baby developed to 6+3).

Recurrent miscarriage clinic is booked for 20 March so now I need to balance needing extra care (because I've had three losses, I can self refer to EPU) with knowing that telling them I'm pregnant will result in me losing my clinic space and possibly having this pregnancy fail too. Need to think about when I'm going to tell my GP/EPU. Might wait until 5 weeks.

Em39ma · 01/03/2019 18:48

Congrats Jacquejacque.
I would wait if you can, before telling them. That way if something does happen you can keep the appointment.
I hope it doesn’t, but I know how you feel.

jacquesjacques · 01/03/2019 18:50

@Em39ma that's why this thread is great, because you all get it too. It's such a hard situation but I think I just need to do like you say and wait. I'm going to see how I feel at 5ish weeks and then try and get my first scan booked in, I think they usually do them at 6 weeks x

Em39ma · 01/03/2019 21:23

I’ve got mine booked in for 7 weeks. They want check everything is in the right place etc.
It’s hard, I’ve got a week and a half to go, just seems to be taking for ages.

chocolatecake08 · 02/03/2019 10:43

@jacquesjacques

Congrats!!!

Luxembourgmama · 02/03/2019 18:38

@jacquesjacques I hope it works out for you definitely don't lose your appt if you can avoid it. Could you get a scan done somewhere else? I was told I had to wait until 7 weeks. Mine is next Thursday

jacquesjacques · 03/03/2019 13:04

Thanks all! I will wait until I get over the 5 week mark and then call to book for a 7 week scan then I think. I'm already super anxious, feel like it's all going to go horribly wrong. Sad

Gpmg84 · 03/03/2019 13:42

Hope it's ok to post again. I've been following this thread since last November when I had a d&c following a blighted ovum. We have been ttc since and I should be 5 weeks pregnant BUT this morning the dreaded bleeding has started. It's dark red / brown. When I wiped there was quite a lot first thing and now it's spotting. Seems really similar to last time and am devastated. As I'm still only 5 weeks a scan won't help so guess I just have to wait this out 😢. X

chocolatecake08 · 03/03/2019 21:47

@Gpmg84

Sending positive thoughts 😞

Hopefully everything goes well for you x

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 04/03/2019 10:07

Gpmg84 Fingers crossed for you.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 04/03/2019 10:10

So AF was due on Friday but still no sign as yet. I have taken a few tests but nothing conclusive. I think I can see a faint shadow of a positive but not enough for me to say definitely pregnant. I had cramping yesterday like it was my first day of AF. The feelings I am used to having on the first day of bleeding but no bleeding.

pandaobsessed · 05/03/2019 09:34

Hi ladies, I haven't been on here for a while as needed some time away after having the second miscarriage. I have an appointment to see a specialist in June, although Doc said I may have a successful pregnancy before that as it's not uncommon to have two losses in a row. How are you all getting on? Have we had any positives? xxx

@Gpmg84 I'm so sorry to hear you're bleeding but that doesn't mean the worst. How has it been since your post on Sunday?

Your story is exactly the same as mine. I had surgical management in Nov and I lost another a few weeks back at around 5 weeks pregnant. Just started AF, so will try again properly once this is out the way.

Hope you're ok xx
