Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

xx

@Dianebz1 i never got clear positives till two weeks late so you never know xx

Em39ma · 18/02/2019 11:24

After last night, my brain was having trouble not thinking something was wrong.
So also be a POAS addict, I did another clue blue date test got a 3+ .
Never got a level high enough for that before, so hoping it is a good sign.

Em39ma · 19/02/2019 15:52

Well saw the midwife.
Told her after the miscarriage which the still think was probably a eptopic, I had to book in early.
They tell you these things but won’t see you if I ask.
Well called up and told them my name, and they went yep we need to see her at around 7 weeks for an early scan.
I think she was a bit surprised they booked me.
Hopefully everything stays good and then will get booked in with the midwife after my scan on the 12th

I've had some cramping since last night and this morning a small bit of spotting. I had a strong line on one of the cheapie tests this morning though. Aaaargh

lnfb · 20/02/2019 08:30

@luxembourghmama Yay! It could be implantation bleeding? How much spotting?

Luxembourgmama · 20/02/2019 09:40

Only a teeny tiny bit so far but quite allot of cramping and that's how my periods tend to go a day or so of cramping beforehand. This will be my third MC in a year. This one earlier than the last which were at 9 and 6 weeks. I am thankfully in the process of getting checked out.

Luxembourgmama · 20/02/2019 09:40

I meant to ask it it not late for implantation bleeding? Period was due last Friday?

lnfb · 20/02/2019 10:11

@luxembourgmama don’t think it’s strictly before period you get it, I got mine a day or two after expected period and then tested a day or two later xx

lnfb · 20/02/2019 10:16

@luxembourghmama it’s impossible to say and such a hard time, especially since you’re testing positive this morning too. You know your body though and I’m really sorry if you feel you’re going through another loss again FlowersSad

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 20/02/2019 19:16

I really want to test again. I ovulated on the 14th so nearly a week ago. I had four days of feeling sick. Today, I feel bloated a bit sick. I don’t know what to think. It’s taking all my effort not to take a test.

lnfb · 20/02/2019 22:23

Personally I wouldn’t test that early as a negative result is of little significance as many women would not have hog high enough to be detected on a hpt xx

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 21/02/2019 04:09

lnfb I know! I keep trying to explain that to myself but I’m not listening.

lnfb · 21/02/2019 09:28

My brain does the same to me but I just have to resist, resist, resist. My partner helps by telling me how bad an idea it is too 😂 x

Em39ma · 21/02/2019 15:09

Well the full on sickness has started. Haven’t kept my breakfast or lunch down.

lnfb · 21/02/2019 21:20

Oh no Em39ma :( I found my acupuncture bands really helped when I was badly nauseated and fresh air too, never tried ginger etc.

Em39ma · 21/02/2019 22:09

Both my mum and grandmother had hyper what ever it is.
So will see how I go over the next week, otherwise will see the doctor.
Polos help a bit, but the after taste then makes it worse.
Ginger biscuits are ok, but don’t want to eat too many.

lnfb · 21/02/2019 22:24

@em39ma There's definitely a genetic component to hyperemesis gravidarum. I had to eat quite a bit to kill my nausea but now feeling better at 10 weeks so now going to try and get back into a few runs and eating more sensibly xx

Em39ma · 22/02/2019 06:30

Yes, that’s what we thought. I put on weight after the miscarriage, so don’t really what to keep eating the wrong things.
Managed to keep supper down, by going to bed before it could kick in.
Woken up feeling very nauseous

chocolatecake08 · 22/02/2019 07:27

@Em39ma

Gin Gin ginger sweets were my saviour x

chocolatecake08 · 22/02/2019 07:33

I hit the 12 week mark this week🎉

Luxembourgmama · 22/02/2019 07:44

@chocolatecake08 thats fantastic.
@Em39ma i found with my first pregnancy taht eating when i woke in the night help with morning nausea but i hear ya on not wanting to eat the wrong things.
My spotting seems to have stopped so all fingers crossed. I've an early scan on MArch 7th when i'll be 6w6d

Em39ma · 22/02/2019 08:06

@chocolate08 yay, would like to say hopefully you will stop worrying so much, but I know what I’m like so probably not

chocolatecake08 · 22/02/2019 10:54

@Luxembourgmama ❤️❤️

@Em39ma

I had a miscarriage at 16 weeks so im still abit anxious, how are you feeling??

Em39ma · 22/02/2019 11:44

@chocolatecake08
Sorry I forgotten yours was that late.
Not been sick yet today, was a moment in Tesco I thought I was going to be.
Only had toast so far, may only have the same for lunch plus some grapes, really craving grapes.
We have my DP sister and partner over for supper tonight, so want to be able to eat then. We aren’t telling them until after the scan.

lnfb · 22/02/2019 14:56

@chocolatecake08 That's fantastic news
