Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

xx

@Em39ma those digital date tests are famously inaccurate, however if your HGC levels are very high, you might be earlier on but with multiples? That would explain AF and then conception. Congratulations x

Em39ma · 15/02/2019 14:25

Yes I know there inaccurate, but I did some research and the more likely to be further along than less.
I never got 2-3 last time, so it could be just right this time for hcg.
There’s multiples on both sides of the family so it has crossed our minds.

lnfb · 15/02/2019 16:23

I was 2-3 too like JUST 4 weeks after first day of AF

lnfb · 15/02/2019 16:37

If you google Clearblue pregnancy test with weeks indiactor professional leaflets or along those lines you can see the HCG thresholds themselves which I found quite useful to understand why it comes up the way it does

Newbie21 · 15/02/2019 19:58

AF turned up in its glory last night. I knew it was coming. Oh well. On to the next cycle for me. Will try and focus on all the lovely things I have and be grateful.

Wow @Em39ma i think it sounds like twins. Do keep us posted. Great that your HCG levels are as high.

How is everyone else doing? Anyone near test day? Wishing you lots of luck.

lnfb · 17/02/2019 12:42

How’s it going everyone?
@em39ma, @chocolatecake08
I’m getting over nausea but now oh so tired! Got my private scan this week x

chocolatecake08 · 17/02/2019 13:22

@lnfb

I feel absolutely sick as a dog🤢xx

lnfb · 17/02/2019 16:07

@chocolatecake08 Oh dear :( My main thing has been food aversion and grumbling nausea which properly reared up about a month ago. Seems to be settling now around the 9 week mark. Have you been to doctor? xx

Em39ma · 17/02/2019 16:38

I’m feeling rather nauseous, keep gagging but not vomiting.
I’m tired, but that could be the thyroid problem too.
Seeing the midwife on Tuesday, because I’m old and after the miscarriage, I have to be seen sooner rather than later.

lnfb · 17/02/2019 17:46

@Em39ma Hope your midwife appointment goes well on Tuesday xx

chocolatecake08 · 17/02/2019 17:54

@lnfb been to doctors and they said it should ease of but hasnt yet,

Hope all is well for you xx

chocolatecake08 · 17/02/2019 17:55

@Em39ma

All very exciting, so happy for you xx

Em39ma · 17/02/2019 18:13

Thank you @chocolatecake08
I really didn’t think I had fallen this month, just goes if you stop thinking it happens

chocolatecake08 · 17/02/2019 18:15

@Em39ma let us know how you get on x

lnfb · 17/02/2019 18:45

I'm anxious about my scan on Thursday but trying to be positive about it xxx

Em39ma · 17/02/2019 18:47

I will do.
Just had a bit of a panic.
Just got tummy pain, like when AF starting, I had an upset tummy (tmi)
But I think brain started to think I was , made me feel so bad.
Sorry, think it is all sinking in.

lnfb · 17/02/2019 19:03

@Em39ma it's a very anxious time and I am the same whenever I get cramps but it's very normal in pregnancy. I've also had a lot of upset stomachs too xx

Em39ma · 17/02/2019 19:36

I know, I think my head just went somewhere I didn’t want it too.
Did wonder if it is related to having higher hcg this time.
Mums morning sickness was very like having gastric flu.

lnfb · 17/02/2019 20:06

Yeah I seem to be more affected by diarrhoea and nausea but no vomiting. Xx

Em39ma · 17/02/2019 21:05

That what I’m like at the moment. Was expecting the vomiting, but not the diarrhoea. Until now been more the other way.

Dianebz1 · 17/02/2019 21:21

@chocolatecake08 hey missus, was thinking of you earlier! How's everything going? Ok I hope xx

chocolatecake08 · 17/02/2019 21:24

@Dianebz1

I was just wondering how you were before! Freaky.

All is fine atm had a few scares nothing major. How have you been??? X

Dianebz1 · 17/02/2019 23:17

@chocolatecake08 that's good! Yeah I'm fine, still no sign of AF since the last time! I took one test 2 days ago but it was negative so maybe my cycles messed up! I'm so glad your ok xx

chocolatecake08 · 18/02/2019 06:46

Fingers crossed for you🤞🏼my period took about 6 weeks to return last time xx

Dianebz1 · 18/02/2019 07:57

@chocolatecake08 yeah mines always usually returns to normal, I just got me thinking! Usually I get sore boobs, cramping etc when AF is due but so far Iv had nothing so I don't feel like it's going to arrive. It so confusing. I wish I had kept the test as I binned it after a few minutes, time will tell I suppose! I'm 5 days late xx
