TTC after Miscarriage

Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

Brown is usually suggestive of old blood from a previous cycle being shed from your uterus rather than fresh bleed. Around the time of my expected period on the cycle we conceived I had a tiny tiny amount of light pink spotting after sex. I think implantation can vary in colour and as long as it's not a full blown period amount of blood loss please try not to stress and see how you go. I know how hard this is though. I've had a mixture of dull and occasionally sharper pains since I've been pregnant, I think as long as it's not agony then it's very normal.
I know it's so so hard but just try and relax as much as possible xxx

Ah, I'm really glad I found this thread today, feeling so so down in the dumps, why is this not happening for me yet?I had a miscarriage in September we weren't really trying and when I found out I was pregnant, it was all a bit of a shock/surprise, we already have to dc's, who were both conceived really quickly naturally. But we had come around to the idea, so when I miscarried, it was totally devastating.I feel like I really, really want another baby but it's just not happening. Here I am 4 days before my period, frantically poas like a mad woman, I don't know why I do this to myself every month, I'm feeling really down. I want to try and occupy my mind with something else, but I can't. 🙁🙁😔😔☹️☹️ ahh feeling so sad today 😔

Oh ans forgot to add staring at blazing white tests until you can see about 5 lines never mind 2. What is wrong with me??? ;!

@glowingtwigs how are you getting on?
@lnfb is totally right. It is likely to be old blood and will hopefully not come to anything. A lot of ladies do get some bleeding even red blood and still go on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies. Fingers and toes are crossed for you.

I started ever so lightly spotting and I feel like AF is imminent. Even though I knew this was the case after my BFN in Sunday, I really wanted it to work out this month. Will have to wait another month. I hare AF week and the week after... feels like I'm just waiting for the next FW... wishing the weeks away and I know I really shouldn't do that.

Hoping for much better luck for all of you still in this month.

Thinking of you, it is so difficult and no amount of rationalising with oneself makes it easier. I lost count of the amount of times I was told to relax, that it will happen, everything happens for a reason blah blah. I know it's not helpful, especially with the added anxieties that come with suffering a previous pregnancy loss. Sending lots of sticky baby dust your way for next cycle xx

@lnfb @Newbie21 @Luxembourgmama thank you for your nice words and thoughts. It's SO hard not to get really invested. So I've not had any more spotting since this morning and we went on a pretty vigorous walk today as I figured if it's a healthy one it can cope with that. A few sharp twinges up my cervix and a few pulling aches but the 'burny' heavy AF feeling has gone for now. Doctor called me back and said more than likely implantation or breakthrough while my body gets used to not having AF. And she said I'm doing everything right so just to keep fingers crossed. Also got Doctor’s appointment on Friday for beta HCG and repeat I guess on Monday as it's the weekend. I just think that will save me a lot of heartache obsessing over darkening lines etc and will help me at 5 weeks (if We get that far).
@Newbie21 I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling so rubbish. I know that feeling well. Tons of baby dust for your next cycle.

I’m due AF on Sunday.
Vowed not to test this month until 2 days late, after last months 14 days late.
You are all panicking about turning 38, I was 40 , 2 weeks ago so you are all spring chickens. And I’m trying for my first.
I hope we all get our baby dust soon.

Well I know I said I wasn’t going to test until 2 days late.
Over the weekend I need to move the rest our stuff into the house.
DP didn’t want me lifting anything if there was a chance I could be pregnant.

Well I thought I must be just pregnant. Apparently I’m wrong.
Just got this, which means I fell last month about 4 days before I started AF

@Em39ma congrats. I'm due tomorrow but buckled and tested this morning and got a bfp with my clearblue box thingy. I'm nervous though as I've had an MMC last July and a chemical pregnancy early November last year. My obgyns suggestion was not to test so early but it's hard not to. I'm more nervous than excited now

@Em39ma oh my goodness! Must have been implantation bleeding or something last cycle? So exciting. How are you feeling in yourself? xx

Was way to much for implantation bleeding, was full of clots etc.
I had my hcg checked 3 days before I got AF and it was 0 so, not sure what happened.

@Em39a when was AF? xx

The 21st for 6 days.
I think when I went the 12 days late, I ov just a day or so AF came and implantation happened just after it had finished.
Only way I think I could be getting a 2-3 week result.

They are.
And I was told years ago I might have trouble falling.
I just hoping it stays put this time.
Managed to get a midwife appointment for Tuesday next week.
Because of my old age!!! Have to be seen from early on.
