Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

xx

lnfb · 03/02/2019 16:56

@pandaobsessed I hope the bath helps you feel a little better xx

Em39ma · 03/02/2019 19:47

I’m having a really tired day.
Can’t blame the puppy she is really good and sleeps through.
I assume it is the thyroid problem, it like I’ve been drugged.

chocolatecake08 · 03/02/2019 19:54

Is it an over active thyroid? X

@Em39ma

jacquesjacques · 03/02/2019 20:05

Please can I join you?

I'm 31, TTC#1. Had a CP at 4 weeks, a CP at 5 weeks and a MMC at 6+3 (discovered at 11+6). This has all happened since June, and I'm exhausted.

Today we met a family member's new born baby for the first time (lots of holding baby and posing for pictures) which was tortuous - although obviously I smiled and participated as expected.

We decided to try one more time this month, before our first RMC appointment at the end of next month. AF is due tomorrow and I got another negative test today. So I'm quite tearful this evening and DH doesn't understand (and I think he's given up trying to to be honest).

X

chocolatecake08 · 03/02/2019 20:22

@jacquesjacques

All my love ❤️

You will get there xx

glowingtwigs · 03/02/2019 21:14

@jacquesjacques so sorry for all your losses, can understand how you feel exhausted. And the baby holding is so draining isn't it? I've been tearful all day after a dinner with friends where there was non stop baby talk. My DH is amazing but just says we need to be patient, but each month feels like torture. Totally get you xx

Em39ma · 03/02/2019 21:41

Underactive thyroid @chocolatecake08. Means losing weight is hard and get tired very easily.
Not use to it, I’ve always been known as the energizer bunny.
Up until October I was always out exercising, working, running my business along side. Finding the tiredness quite debilitating.

chocolatecake08 · 03/02/2019 21:43

@Em39ma i had an over active thyroid and had surgery to fix it, is that an option?

jacquesjacques · 03/02/2019 21:44

Thank you @chocolatecake08, laid in bed with af cramps feeling so desperately sad, your kindness really means a lot.

@glowingtwigs big hugs to you, it's just so hard and the sadness can feel very isolating. I know the world cannot revolve around our situation, but sometimes it feels like everybody has forgotten how much you're hurting. Thanks

Em39ma · 04/02/2019 04:17

@chocolatecake08
They are just watching it at the moment!
Will give me medication and other options if still a problem in 3 months.
Trouble is when you are TTC they say it might not be possible,if you have an untreated underactive thyroid. So I’m going back to see someone again next week and see if I can something done sooner rather than later.

chocolatecake08 · 04/02/2019 07:15

@jacquesjacques let me know how you get on xx

chocolatecake08 · 04/02/2019 07:16

@Em39ma

Hopefully you will get it sorted xx

pandaobsessed · 04/02/2019 17:45

A little update from me. I was rushed into hospital by ambulance last night due to extreme cramping and sharp pains. So much so I was projectile vomiting from the pain. They did a pregnancy test in the hospital and it was negative, with my blood test only showing a low level of pregnancy hormone. So looks like bad news after all the bleeding, which we completely expected to be honest. Got to take a pregnancy test again in a weeks time just to double check. It’s try again for this lady 💕

Oh @pandaobsessed I'm so, so sorry. I know how exhausted you must be feeling, and just want to give you a massive hug. Please be kind to yourself and let DH take care of you, it's a horrible, shitty thing to go through anyway but sounds like you've has quite the shock on top of it all. Here whenever you need a rant or a cry. Thanks

Em39ma · 04/02/2019 18:29

I’m sorry @pandaobessed
I was rushed to hospital with mine too, so understand it’s not the best feeling.
Hopefully after a few weeks you can get back to ttc.

Newbie21 · 04/02/2019 18:44

@pandaobsessed so sorry that you have had to experience such a trauma. Hope you get some time to take it easy. X

lnfb · 04/02/2019 18:57

So, so sorry to hear this @pandaobsessed. Take good care of yourself xx

chocolatecake08 · 04/02/2019 19:10

@pandaobsessed 💔

Take care ❤️

pandaobsessed · 04/02/2019 19:15

Thank you ladies 💕 DH has been absolutely amazing bless him. Don't know what I'd do without him. Been sleeping most of the day thanks to my mum who has been here looking after my son. I'll be joining you on the TTC journey soon 😊

Where is everyone in their cycle at the moment? Anyone approaching AF?

Kelpies · 04/02/2019 19:57

@pandaobsessed look after yourself. What a horrible start to the week. It can only get better x

I did a test yesterday and it was negative (the first negative since the mc). I knew it was going to be negative but was still in a super bad mood all day. Poor DP for having to put up with me!

Em39ma · 04/02/2019 20:26

I’m half way through my fertility window according to my app.
So will be starting my 2 week wait soon

glowingtwigs · 05/02/2019 06:44

Glad you're looking after yourself and being looked after @pandaobsessed xxx

lnfb · 06/02/2019 15:18

Thinking of you @pandaobsessed. Hope you are recovering well lovely xx

Em39ma · 06/02/2019 22:00
