Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

xx

Good morning all
Well today’s my birthday (40) OH way for work, puppy doesn’t come home until tomorrow.
So what am I doing with my day.
I’m cleaning, picking up my van from the garage ( I run my own company, designing and making children’s clothes)
Doing the weekly shop, and running outside in just a dressing gown, because I forgot to put the bins out.
I seriously live a very rock and roll lifestyle 😂😂😂😂
Hope you are all living the dream too.

Morning em39ma
Not a good day today, its my girls due date today :(
Also, 3 days since the 2 year anniversary of my miscarriage of my twins. Just checked my ovia app and realised that my next period is due 22nd February, which will be the one year anniversary of the miscarriage i had last year.
Got the funeral on Monday, and everything just seems so shit.

@chocolatecake08
The NHS are sticklers-I think it's three consecutive miscarriages that warrants further investigations and additional testing in pregnancy. So difficult for the people who go through these losses though :(

How are you getting on @chocolatecake08? xx

Em39ma · 31/01/2019 09:55

@ironytheoppositeofwrinkly
So sorry, I had a moment yesterday when shopping with my mum
Saw something in a shop that set me off.
So getting to anniversaries is always hard

Kelpies · 31/01/2019 10:57

Thank you ladies. How are you all today? Where is everyone in their cycles? Anyone close to testing?

Em39ma · 31/01/2019 13:55

Did op test, not yet. Which is good, as OH isn’t back until tomorrow.
I’m checking each day to hopefully get a positive

pandaobsessed · 02/02/2019 20:35

Hi ladies, I've been a bit dormant from this post after receiving my positive pregnancy test (which I posted on here). After having a MMC in November, it seems I'm currently going through another miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. I'm roughly 5weeks along and I've had some heavy bleeding, which started lightly last night. Having sharp cramps now too. Can't help but think we got pregnant too soon 😢😢 or that my previous c-section has had something to do with it? 😞

@pandaobsessed

💔💔💔

Have you spoken to hospital or anything?? X

pandaobsessed · 02/02/2019 21:02

@chocolatecake08 no I haven't yet. I know with the MMC at 11 weeks (even though baby had stopped growing very early on - as nothing was in the sac), the hospital really wasn't much help 😢 until I had the surgical management. I have an appointment booked with my Dr on Tuesday, so may speak about the bleeding then. Not sure what a hospital could do for me? 😞

OP posts:
chocolatecake08 · 02/02/2019 21:07

@pandaobsessed previously i had to have a scan to make sure everything had been passed naturally.

Other times i was treat awfully at the hospital so do what you feels best x

pandaobsessed · 02/02/2019 21:23

@chocolatecake08 I'm hoping the doctor can refer me for a scan. But when I went to the EPU before, they couldn't get me a scan until a week later. It's such a shame. I know the NHS are having cut-backs and are under pressure, but the way miscarriages are dealt with are really quite poor 😞 the nurses do try their best though. Not sure what is best 😢

OP posts:
chocolatecake08 · 02/02/2019 21:25

@pandaobsessed that happened to me when i was bleeding i had to wait a week for a scan i ended up paying for a private.

If you feel you need to know and can afford get a private scan x

lnfb · 02/02/2019 21:26

@pandaobsessed I'm so sorry to hear this hun, you poor thing. Please don't blame yourself or think you did anything wrong at all. These things are so sadly completely out of her control and nothing to do with falling pregnant too early or previous c-section etc. Sending you cuddles, take care of yourself xxxxx
