Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

xx

Hey ladies, so very happy for you @pandaobsessed.

I've been busy with work but it has distracted me from getting too anxious. Have had some pains particularly my left lower side below my hip bone today. Nothing huge but it has got me a little worried. But just trying to rationalise things. Also just trying to be thankful that I am so far having few symptoms apart from much bigger boobs which are occasionally sore, dull mild cramps especially at night and a little bit of nausea. It's actually sinking in more than worrying will not change anything so just taking each day as it comes and enjoying it xx

pandaobsessed · 24/01/2019 21:45

@chocolatecake08 I'm not feeling too bad. A bit nauseous here and there, particularly when seeing/thinking of certain foods. Also quite achy in my lower abdomen and got strange sensations now and again. Feel quite heavy down there as well. How are you? x

Thank you @lnfb. Stay positive. You've got all positive signs at the moment, so no need to think otherwise 😊 x

chocolatecake08 · 24/01/2019 21:49

@lnfb stay positive

@pandaobsessed have you tried gin gins ginger sweets from holland and barrett? They work miracles for sickness.

i felt really poorly this morning tho i had my driving test and put it down to nerves but unsure i feel like i may be unwell cause starting to feel like a bug now x

Ambs81 · 24/01/2019 22:06

Fab news @pandaobsessed!

Looking forward to seeing more BFPs coming through for us all Flowers

I am in the TWW, I feel like I might have good news but nothing logic to base it on, just a feeling!

Will resist testing until AF is due next week!

I’m currently on a work trip and everyone is concerned I’m not on my usually multiple coffees and gin&tonics!

pandaobsessed · 24/01/2019 22:41

@chocolatecake08 no I haven't tried those. May have to go and get some if this pregnancy is going to be anything like my son. I had HG and was in hospital twice. How did your test go? They're definitely nerve-wracking! X

pandaobsessed · 24/01/2019 22:43

@Ambs81 thank you! What kind of feelings have you been getting? Is it a gut-feeling that you're pregnant or are you having symptoms? Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻 when is AF due? x

@pandaobsessed defo try some have a look for the hard boiled ones,

And I passed after the 2nd attempt thank the lord😭😂xx

Random2468 · 25/01/2019 09:24

Congratulations @pandaobsessed ! Lovely news

Ah I'm having such a down day today. CD 13 with no sign of impending ovulation and I don't even know when to expect it because I ovulate so variably - it's been day 14 all the way up to day 52 in the past. I felt hopeful early on in this cycle but now the desperation is kicking in. It's the waiting and not knowing. And I have a lot going on in my life right now with work and study etc and I'm just feeling stressed and fed up 😢

Ambs81 · 25/01/2019 11:09

@pandaobsessed
Have just been feeling a bit different, some tummy pains/ period pain like feeling...with both pregnancies (ds1 and mc) I had very sore boobs before AF was due...so I’ll know in the next few days I guess, whether that kicks in.
AF is due 3rd of Feb Confused

Em39ma · 25/01/2019 18:59

Well I’m going with the distraction technique to TTC now.
This little ball of cuteness arrives next Friday

@Em39ma gorgeous -I can't tell from the photo, is it a lab? I have two retrievers and they are a constant and welcome distraction frI'm TTC 😊

Em39ma · 25/01/2019 21:45

Yes, black Labrador

Em39ma · 25/01/2019 21:49

My aging cocker spaniel has stayed with my parents.
He and mum are inseparable, so i left him with them when I moved back out.
One of us was going to get a puppy, so we decided we would

Noopey · 28/01/2019 22:44

Thoughts I’d come back to this thread and see how you all were.

I’m beginning to feel more normal. Managed to peel myself out of bed to do school run and a full day with my younger one. Where as the last two Mondays I’ve relied on my partner/parents to help. Feels good to be up and about. Next couple of days younger one at playgroup. Going to try and get house more organised. Partner has been amazing, but there are bits that I think that he just doesn’t spot. So I’m going to busy myself with them.

And I’m eating again! Hoorah. Not loads. Still lots of apples and cups of tea. But life is feeling better.

Looking forward to the point we can start TTC again. Although will also possibly be another painful moment.

Much love to you all.

Em39ma · 28/01/2019 23:18

@Noopey
Glad you are starting to feel better.
It took me awhile to start doing the every day things, but we all get there.
We are now on our second month of TTC, hoping it works.

Em39ma · 29/01/2019 06:57

@chocolatecake08
Did you go for your scan on Friday?
Hope everything is still good.

chocolatecake08 · 29/01/2019 07:04

I went to the appointment and was treat awfully they refused to scan me etc 🙄🙄

I did a wee in a pot and got sent home🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

@Em39ma

Kelpies · 29/01/2019 07:56

Hope everyone is doing ok.

Would really appreciate some advice as I feel like I'm seeing things. I was told by doctors to take a pregnancy test today and that they would call me up to confirm the result was negative. I'm guessing so that my body doesn't still think it's pregnant 4wks after mc. So I did the test and I'm sure there is still a line. Can you see it too and if so is that normal?

TTC after Miscarriage
chocolatecake08 · 29/01/2019 08:01

@Kelpies

I can see it, i had this happen to me from a missed miscarriage.

I ended up having an infection and had to go on antibiotics and felt awful. Ring 111 or go back dont let them fob you off cause it took ages for them to listen to me and i had the infection for ages because they wouldnt listen xx

Noopey · 29/01/2019 08:02

Kelpies

I do see a line. Have you had a negative result post MC already? Or is this the first one you’ve done? My midwife suggested taking a test in a week, which for me will be 4 weeks after miscarriage began. x

Kelpies · 29/01/2019 08:05

I had an infection and had antibiotics a few weeks ago. Could that have delayed the pregnancy hormone in my body? This is the first test I've done since I found out I was pregnant in Oct.
It's suck a mind f**k! How can you get get excited about a positive test but at the same time know it's more likely to be a problem than something positive!

Em39ma · 29/01/2019 09:38

@chocolatecaje08
That’s terrible.
Why did they refuse to scan?
Did you tell them you had, had a private one?
I’ve learnt now, to only mention the minimum sometimes.

Ironytheoppositeofwrinkly · 29/01/2019 09:45

Hi ladies, can I join you with no judgement please? My daughter was stillborn on 26/12 and I thought i wanted to wait to try again, however the arrival of my first period bang on 29 days after giving birth has made me realise I want to try again straight away.
Ttc#2
4 pregnancies, only 1 live child, currently CD5.

frillyfarmer · 29/01/2019 10:06

Oh @Kelpies I'm currently in a similar position. Have your cycles gone back to some sort of pattern? Is there any chance you could actually be pregnant?

I had a bleed on 17th, scanned on 18th confirmed no sign of pregnancy, pregnancy test negative, I thought I was 6 weeks.

After a week of positive OPKs, I did a pregnancy test and got an instant strong positive, took another to be sure.

So I've had bloods done this morning and I'm fully preparing myself for more shit. And then the nurse tells me I could have implanted late and that I might still be carrying. So now I'm trying very very hard not to get my hopes up, and I'm feeling completely confused.
