Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

xx

I know many of youse have had private scans, do any of you know how to find a good private hospital that i can continue my pregnancy at? X

Em39ma · 21/01/2019 18:16

I’m not sure @chocolatecake.
I would see what Bupa or BMI or Nuffield clinic are near you.
I can’t see how else. I know our Nuffield has a fertility and maternity space.

chocolatecake08 · 21/01/2019 19:02

@Em39ma

Ive been looking into nuffield but dont know anyone whos used them so unsure of the service xx

Em39ma · 21/01/2019 19:27

I’ve know people who used the fertility side, but not maternity.
They said it is was really good.

chocolatecake08 · 21/01/2019 19:27

I feel absolutely terrified that i will have another miscarriage or when the baby is born that they will die????

Is this normal has anyone else experienced that😫it's to the extend i'm struggling to go to work without being full of anxiety i cant sleep because of it

pandaobsessed · 21/01/2019 19:31

Hey ladies. After mentioning I had strong wind-type pains, I've had a few more cramps today with some bright pink discharge. Could it be?? 🤔 I'm a week from AF x

OP posts:
chocolatecake08 · 21/01/2019 19:33

@pandaobsessed have you taken a test? X

chocolatecake08 · 21/01/2019 19:34

@Em39ma i will defo have a look into that xx

pandaobsessed · 21/01/2019 19:46

@chocolatecake08 I took one yesterday which was negative. Haven't taken another yet. Might take one tomorrow. If it is implantation, would I get a positive yet? x

OP posts:
chocolatecake08 · 21/01/2019 19:53

Not sure seems abit far i saw most people dont get a positive before their due period, i think you should try your best and wait all the testing will send you crazy xxx @pandaobsessed

pandaobsessed · 21/01/2019 19:57

@chocolatecake08 I agree. I'm going to wait and see what happens, especially see if I get any more bleeding xx

glowingtwigs · 21/01/2019 20:32

I think you're normal @chocolatecake08 . Sounds silly but have you tried listening to audiobooks? I'm so full of anxiety every month and have a fairly long commute to work and my mind would be going mad worrying as I drove along. My friend sent me a Marion Keyes audio book and it was a bit trashy but really took my mind off thinking about ttc. It might work for you too?

@pandaobsessed don't want to get your hopes up too much but bright pink a week before AF does sound like a good sign. Could you bear to wait two or three days then test again? Fingers crossed for you xx

chocolatecake08 · 21/01/2019 20:34

I feel really selfish thinking like this when all you ladies really want a BFP 😞😞

I like audio books but i never know which ones i will like x

@glowingtwigs

Babycakes1989 · 21/01/2019 20:36

Chocolatecake I feel your pain ❤️ I’ve had a really anxious past couple of days worrying how I’ll survive the next few weeks without driving myself up the wall let alone if it happened again. I want to be excited but I can’t and I don’t know if having a 2nd Mc would put me off TTC altogether. It’s such a hard time. Must remember and repeat ‘different sperm, different egg’. 💖 Sending all you brave ladies massive of hugs whether or not your TTC after a mc or trying to get by every day after falling pregnant again. We all have the same dream and hope and we deserve this xxx

chocolatecake08 · 21/01/2019 20:40

@Babycakes1989

❤️❤️

I feel so bloody selfish but every day is like a battle trying to keep positive without worrying my self to death😫xx

glowingtwigs · 21/01/2019 20:57

You're not selfish @chocolatecake08 ! It's a totally normal reaction to wanting something so badly and being afraid. The one my friend sent me was 'This Charming Man' and it was quite light hearted in some ways but enough to follow to keep my mind from wandering.

chocolatecake08 · 21/01/2019 21:02

@glowingtwigs

I will have a look into that one! X

pandaobsessed · 21/01/2019 22:05

Thank you @glowingtwigs. I will wait and test in a good few days from now. Going to try and not think about it in case it's not IB. It's so hard. Excited and nervous at the same time. Spoke to hubby and said I'm worried for if we are pregnant, having had a MMC xx

HayzCo · 22/01/2019 07:52

Hi all, I’m 8dpo today and took a test.. BFN. Sharing in case anyone else needs reminder/ motivation not to bother testing so early! Will wait until Monday now, as AF due Sunday. Hope you’re all doing well x

chocolatecake08 · 22/01/2019 08:00

@HayzCo

Keep your self busy you will drive your self crazy xx

Random2468 · 22/01/2019 08:31

Hey all,
Last month I ovulated day 14-17 (opk and bbt discrepancy) and I'm CD 10 today. In the past I have ovulated much later though. This month I'm definitely ditching the bbt as it was driving me to be a crazy person and also thinking about scraping the opks as well and just trying to dtd as much from today onwards as poss! In the FW do people aim for daily or every other day? Trying to be really relaxed but also wanting to cover bases 😫

Babycakes1989 · 22/01/2019 17:23

random2468 we did every other, even that was hard work I found haha! Then when I saw my opk line getting darker tried to do every day for a few days just to seal the deal! Good luck 😘 xxx

chocolatecake08 · 22/01/2019 20:36

@pandaobsessed

With your missed miscarriage did which option of management did you chose?? Xx

pandaobsessed · 22/01/2019 21:44

@chocolatecake08 I chose the surgical method because I didn't want to see or feel it happening. Everyone is different though x

OP posts:
chocolatecake08 · 22/01/2019 21:46

@pandaobsessed

Thats the option i chose, what kind of anaesthetic did you get?

Have you found after the surgery you cant for the life of you hold a wee?? X
