Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

xx

Ive felt like that since a teenager, i have got better now though, are you fearful of germs etc? X

@lnfb

lnfb · 20/01/2019 18:00

@chocolatecake08 I'm not fearful of germs at all. The risk of them are present every day. I'm glad you are better now though Smile and well done for overcoming it.
It's just the lack of control related to vomiting that I fear most I think xx

chocolatecake08 · 20/01/2019 18:05

@lnfb

Thankyou❤️

Yeah me to i wont drink or anything in fear of it, you should deffo speak to the doctor it helped me x

Pinktruffle · 20/01/2019 19:53

I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks at the end of October. We started trying again as soon as my first normal period came which was in December. I stupidly did a test on day 30 of my cycle (I have a longer cycle due to PCOS, it's usually 35 days) and I was devastated when it was negative. I so badly want to pregnant again and I worry it'll never happen for me. I'm 35 going on 36 and everyone around me is currently pregnant.... back to trying, hoping and praying it'll be me next. Good luck to you all. Please share any good news

chocolatecake08 · 20/01/2019 20:08

@Pinktruffle sorry for your loss❤️❤️

My advice is just stop trying, put it to the back of your mind, i stopped trying and just enjoyed the time with my partner and now i am pregnant, good luck❤️

Em39ma · 20/01/2019 20:31

@pinktruffle
I agree with @chocolatecake.
Just relax and enjoy the practicing.
I’m like you, I think my time is running out. I’m 40 I few days.
We are a good bunch, you can chat to us, we are all going through the same thing.

Frillyfarmer · 20/01/2019 21:28

@Pinktruffle I know how you feel - everyone is pregnant or a new mum or joyfully trying and I feel like some bitter old witch at the edge.

It's very easy to write and very very difficult to follow but you must just try to let go a little bit and stop stressing. These forums are often the source of my anxiety and I think if I get to my next positive test, it would be best for me to take a break from this place.

I wish you all the very best - TTC with miscarriage is an utter headfuck. Xx

Pinktruffle · 20/01/2019 21:58

Thank you all for the positivity. I am trying not to stress and being more mindful. I'm just having a bad day today.
I'm trying to not 'ttc' and just going with the flow, I'm not going to use ovulation indicators etc as I think I could get a little obsessed and that would be a negative rather than a positive.
Both my sister in laws are on their second child, one has just had one and the other is due in March, I was due in May, a couple of days after my birthday. The one who is due in March is currently taking illness to be sat at home on full pay, drives me crazy. I try and be a good person and I just get f'ed over constantly, I'd be better of milking the system, seems to pay for most people

Pinktruffle · 20/01/2019 22:01

@frillyfarmer yes! I am desperate to be pregnant but kind of terrified if I get a positive, what if it happeneds again?! I feel like last time was my fault and I will try to do everything different but what if it still happeneds? Then where do I turn. Surely that just means I have shitty eggs and there is nothing I can do about that

Frillyfarmer · 20/01/2019 22:21

@Pinktruffle you don't have shitty eggs it's just one of those really really shitty things.

I conceived my first, first time with no problems (although difficult later pregnancy) so I was thrown with an ectopic and MC TTC #2. But we will get there, and so will you. I'm sat tonight dwelling and feeling sad for all those markers I looked forwards to in my pregnancy that wasn't to be. But we will get there. We fucking will- there will be BFPs and we will get there. Xxxx

Frillyfarmer · 20/01/2019 22:22

Just to add - my "difficult" pregnancy ended in my beautiful little boy x

Pinktruffle · 20/01/2019 22:44

Thank you @frillyfarmer. I have days when I cam be upbeat and positive and days where I can't be. Today seems to be a can't be x

glowingtwigs · 20/01/2019 22:46

Just kind of jumping on your convo here @Frillyfarmer and @Pinktruffle ...
@Pinktruffle I feel like you and sometimes I worry that my eggs are all crappy and I've just turned 38 and it's not going to work again and the lost pregnancy was my only chance. But statistically we will get pregnant again and have a healthy baby- that's what we've got to cling on to.
And @Frillyfarmer I like the way you think.., seeing that in black and white is very helpful to me... we will get there!!!

Ambs81 · 20/01/2019 23:41

I’m ttc after mc at 7+5 in November.
A close friend is pregnant and at the stage I would be, almost to the day.
At first it didn’t upset me but I have to say as time goes on I’m finding it hard, no she has very visible bump and scans etc.
I feel like if I was pregnant I would be easier to feel I was moving on, but that might be easier said then done of course.
I’m just at the end of my fw, so will try to keep busy over this ttw xxx
Keep positive everyone!! think of the good news stories and be positive

chocolatecake08 · 21/01/2019 07:14

@Ambs81

Sorry for your loss❤️

Em39ma · 21/01/2019 12:35

Well I have just got AF 12 /13 days late.
I have no idea what is going on with me, maybe still sorting it’s self out after the miscarriage.

Pinktruffle · 21/01/2019 13:54

@em39ma is it your first period after the miscarriage? It takes a while for it to settle down. Mine seem to be back in their old rhythm now

chocolatecake08 · 21/01/2019 13:57

@Pinktruffle

How long did you take to get regular periods?

Im just wondering as i got pregnant again after my first period so didnt get to see if my periods would be regular again x

Em39ma · 21/01/2019 14:06

I had a bad one in November, lasted in all a couple of weeks, a normal 4 day one in December.
So thought I had got back to normal.

Pinktruffle · 21/01/2019 14:20

@chocolatecake08 lucky you! Congratulations.

I miscarried October 28th and my periods went back to normal this month 13/01. They last longer than they used to though

Tryingforkittens · 21/01/2019 14:36

Just a reply to all... it makes me so mad that it takes a while to "settle down" I was once reading about returning fertility after having a baby. Aparently first you get your periods back, then you start ovulating, then your LP gets to full length.

I was tracking as soon as I came off the pill and I think I followed this pattern. My periods came back regularly but I didn't notice ovulation until month 4. But 3 days later I got my period. Month 5 I conceived and I think it was the first month I was able to. Now I'm waiting for ovulation after MC and I'm wondering if I will ovulate this month and how long it will take to come back again.

chocolatecake08 · 21/01/2019 14:53

@Pinktruffle

Thankyou❤️

I did find my period lasted much longer than normal x

Frillyfarmer · 21/01/2019 14:59

I've just started a new thread but actually thought this would probs be the best place to ask -

Heavy bleeding at 6ish weeks on Thursday 17th, Scan at EPU confirmed MC on Friday, I also had a negative test and the nurse confirmed it had all passed naturally.

I decided to track my cycle again this month so I can know where I'm at, strong positive OPK today, 4 days after MC - is that possible?!

I'm SO confused!!

Pinktruffle · 21/01/2019 15:16

Hormones are notourisouly all over the place after a miscarriage/birth so it is possible however your lining is unlikely to be ready for an implant.

ale2992 · 21/01/2019 16:29

@Frillyfarmer I also ovulated quite soon after my MVA
