Hi ladies,

I suffered a silent miscarriage end of October and was just looking to start a thread for ladies in a similar position to me, who are trying to conceive at the moment. Would be lovely to have some support and guidance.

xx

I'm about a week away from AF - not sure how many DPO I am but according to app, I'm 6dpo (with no positive ovulation test). The past two days I've had a dull ache in my lower abdomen which since last night is now in my lower back. I'm not even symptom spotting as told myself I wouldn't since the MMC. Could this be implantation? x

Hi ladies 💖 I posted on here on the start of the thread saying I was hoping this cycle would be the one... and I think it is! 5 months after mmc July 18. I’m 15 dpo today so very very very early & have had 2 pos tests 2nd time line darker - cheapy Amazon sticks. Plan to take a branded test middle of next week. The anxiety is taking me over already. Husband says stop thinking about it & go with the flow. ITS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! I really hope it’s a sticky one, the last 5 months have been torchure. Congrats to the ladies with their bfps -keep the faith!! And baby dust to all TTC 🌈💖 xxxx

pandaobsessed · 20/01/2019 09:10

So happy for you @Babycakes1989, what brilliant news for you 💕 I hope it all goes well for you. Try not to worry as well, which can be normal since what we've all been through on this thread. How are you feeling? Did you have any symptoms? x

chocolatecake08 · 20/01/2019 09:25

@Babycakes1989

Congratulations! Be positive and keep busy❤️

Wishing you a healthy pregnancy and baby❤️

Babycakes1989 · 20/01/2019 09:26

Thank you pandaobsessed! Main one has been (do excuse me) very windy!!! Heavy boobs(not sore), extreme tiredness. That’s it at the moment, had a couple days of being funny with food. Xxx

Babycakes1989 · 20/01/2019 09:28

Thanks chocolate cake 😘😘 luckily I do have lots planned at beggining of this year so hoping to be distracted xx

HayzCo · 20/01/2019 09:31

@pandaobsessed it could be implantation couldn’t it. It’s about the right time. Although I have only ever heard of that since trying to spot symptoms! It’s so hard not to. When will you try to wait before testing? What app are you using? Sorry lots of questions! Hope your feeling ok despite the cramps!

@babycakes1989 congratulations on the two lines! Could you get a GP appointment and early scan, they will offer for one at 6 weeks if youve had MC I think. Be kind to yourself lovey, totally natural to feel anxious. All things crossed for you xx

Babycakes1989 · 20/01/2019 09:35

Thank you so much hayz! Yes I’m definitely thinking of having an early scan. When I had D&C in July the nurse told me I could get an early one next time. Xx

glowingtwigs · 20/01/2019 09:46

Congratulations @Babycakes1989 I've also been trying 5 months since mc so I understand the craving for those two lines- so glad it's happened for you!

pandaobsessed · 20/01/2019 10:30

@Babycakes1989 no problem at all - we all deserve sticky beans 💕 hmm I have been slightly off with my food the past few days. I remember this before my last pregnancy. I just called NHS Direct Wales for some advice. Due a call back from a nurse soon x

Frillyfarmer · 20/01/2019 10:34

@Kelpies my best friend conceived after a MC, before her period, she has a very healthy 6month DS now.

I've just stopped bleeding after miscarriage and thinking the same as you. I feel ready to DTD now but I don't want to risk raising my chance of MC.

pandaobsessed · 20/01/2019 10:34

@HayzCo hmm I am wondering. I've called NHS Direct Wales (waiting for call-back) as the pain in my lower abdomen is still there, three days later, and in my back. It's putting me off my food. Just want to check it's not something else. They said on the phone it's too early to test and get a positive. So will test next Friday probably. I'm using the "Clue" app x

@Xpudzx congrats!!

Em39ma · 20/01/2019 14:42

@Xpudzx
Congratulations.

Em39ma · 20/01/2019 14:44

Well my update.
Still no AF, so tired it’s unbelievable, but that is probably down to the vitamin D problem and the thyroid issue.
Beginning to think I’m just strange

chocolatecake08 · 20/01/2019 16:00

@Xpudzx

Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️

pandaobsessed · 20/01/2019 16:01

@Em39ma how late are you now? What else could it even be that's causing you to be so late? I'm guessing it's not normal to be this late... X

OP posts:
Em39ma · 20/01/2019 16:45

@pandaobessed
I’ve never been late, except when pregnant.
I normally have a 26 day cycle.
I am now 12 late

lnfb · 20/01/2019 16:54

@xpudzx Wow, congratulations Grin

chocolatecake08 · 20/01/2019 16:57

@lnfb
Personally i found ginger to help not sure if it was a placebo effect though..

I recommend some ginger sweets from holland and barrett i think they were called gin gins.

I would speak to your doctor but i know mine was more the fear of being sick than even feeling sick xx

lnfb · 20/01/2019 17:09

@chocolatcake08 did you just chat through it to help or have you had cyclizine or any other antiemetics?

I will go and have a look for the gin gins soon!

I think anxiety over it is making it worse as I have seldom felt nauseous. I think the most important thing to do is try and relax! But I find it really hard...
xx

chocolatecake08 · 20/01/2019 17:36

@lnfb

I ended up getting therapy for it and was diagnosed with OCD.

It absolutely ruined my life i would suggest seeing the doctor xx

lnfb · 20/01/2019 17:43

@chocolatecake08 Thank you for sharing your experience. I can deal with others being sick no problem but it's a stupid irrational fear of myself. I just feel out of control! xxx
