How long did it take for people to conceive for their first pregnancy?

Hi all! My husband and I have decided to start trying, I’m 24 and this is our first time! How long did it take for everyone? I understand it’s different for every person but I love hearing people’s stories!

Started trying just after my 29th birthday, conceived month 4 but sadly had an early miscarriage.
Conceived again month 6 and currently 25 weeks with a little girl, our first.

It took us 15 months, no contraception before I conceived my first.

Then two months after I gave birth I fell pregnant with my second.

First month aged 37 with my first child. I was shocked and freaked out. Second month with my second child aged 39.

Funnily enough, I started the menopause early aged just 43. I had no idea I had so few childbearing years left when I started.

I was (just) 33 and we conceived on our first go, fraternal twins.

I think.about 9 weeks! Didnt expect it so quickly after being on the pill for 12 years!

DD 2.5 years and 3 miscarrages
DS 1st cycle

First try for us. We were very lucky. I'm 36.

1st month of trying both times (aged 30 and 34). Also had one accidental pregnancy in between which ended in very early miscarriage.

First month trying and we weren't even trying that hard. Still don't believe it sometimes and I'm very grateful

About 20 minutes.

Ok - seriously - dates were a bit messed up as I had been on the pill for over a decade but there was less than 10 months between last pill and first gas and air.

Age 34 - 18 months, age 38 happy surprise not even trying...

First month. We were lucky.

Dd2 1st month trying (ended in late mis)
Dd3 1st month trying
We are ridiculously fertile and extremely lucky as have had friends and family go through hell trying.

2nd month after coming off the pill- very lucky. Working out when ovulation days may be I think helped.

First time 1 month
Second time 2 months
Third time wasn't trying (had mirena that failed.

I know I was very lucky.

First month of trying for both my pregnancies (28 and 30). We have to be super careful with contraception when we're not ttc!

Second proper cycle after coming off the pill for DC1 aged almost 37, first cycle for DC2 (currently dozing on me!) age 38. Very very lucky

DC1, third month (26)
DC2, currently trying and in the second cycle (30).

19 months.

16 months with DS but it took 5 months to have a period after being on the pill around ten years. I was 25.

DC1 - 5 cycles
DC2 (still cooking) - 1 cycle

Have been very lucky

Three years and four rounds of ivf. No cause found.

DC1 (27) - first month of trying. Didn’t expect it to happen so quickly after a decade of being very careful and trying NOT to get pregnant.

2nd pregnancy (29) - 2nd month of trying, but had a miscarriage.

3rd pregnancy (30) - 2nd month of trying.

4th (36) - accident!

First attempt, quite literally

Phenomenally lucky.

I married my DH three months after I turned twenty and fell pregnant on the honeymoon (first time without protection), my DS was born on my birthday.
My DD was conceived first time we decided to try as well.
My other DD was conceived when we had an award ceremony for DH's work and we both had a little bit too much to drink! She wasn't planned but I wouldn't change my three for the world!
