Anyone else fresh off the pill!?

Hi ladies!
As my DH and i habe decided to TTC I took the last pill in my packet on 17th December and had my breakthrough bleed start on the 22nd and end on the 26th. Now the wait begins to see whether my cycle snaps back to normal and of course whether I concieve! I had been on microgynon for circa 3 years.

Is anyone else in a similar position and entering 2019 pill free!? I thought this would be a good place to track and share our experiences as they happen!

@DaniX91 I knew that’s what you meant 😊 still no AF! Some spotting today and I never usually get that and I’ve no cramps so I’m hoping it’s late implantation if I ovulated late! More than likely clutching at straws at this point!!

@DaniX91 yes 2 days late! CD32! My boobs are okay it’s just my nips are sore but not constantly it’s only at like certain times of the day which is weird? x

That does sound hopeful @whatsthecraic91! How many DPO should implantation bleeding happen? Just curious!

@sunshine8888 well google says it can be between 10-14 days after conception, if I’ve ovulated late I suppose it’s possible! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@DaniX91 I’m okay! Still no AF, but a tad crampy no spotting so far. Thank you so much if I’m not pregnant I think I’ll loose my mind 🙈

@whatsthecraic91 2 nights in a row I was convinced AF would be there the following morning! Was even asking my boyfriend what our plan of action would be for the following month haha, so cramps can be a positive sign.
When will u next test? X

Cycle 8!! Never thought it would be this tough! Think we will try SMEP next & invest in the CB ovulation tests, I’ve told DP we need to up our game

Oh no @whatsthecraic91 I really had a positive feeling for you! Definitely go out and have some drinks and try and relax (easier said then done I know!!) lots of positive vibes for next time xxx

Still no sign of AF here. 6 weeks off the pill and nothing. Haven't tested since Monday and trying not to test until next Thursday now. But patience isn't my strong point 😂😂😂

Hey ladies, just spent the last few hours reading through this incredible thread.
Brand new to Mums Net.
Hope you don't mind me joining and my opening essay!!!
I'm 28, in the process of preparing for our first TTC journey with my husband.
Been on the pill since I was 15 with a implant in between.
Just hoping for some advise really, haven't had a proper period since I was like 15.
I'm also totally clueless about cycles, ovulating and all things!
Husband is really exciting and really wants us on our way by the end of the year. Reading these stories it definitely doesn't seem as straight forward as I and I Think my husband is expecting!!
Currently on cerelle.
Just waiting to pass my probation at work and look in to maternity pay....

Hi @elmlee welcome to the ttc club! You might find it takes a few months for your cycles to regulate after being on the pill. Some ladies come off a few months before ttc to try and let them settle a bit. I didn’t do that and it’s really confusing because I don’t know when AF is due or when or if I ovulate 🤷🏽‍♀️ so I can’t really track anything at the moment. If you have regular cycles and you know when AF is due, it’s much easier to know if you’re late and if you should test. I was also clueless before I started this journey, you’re in the right place 😊

@Moonstone12 it took 7 weeks from coming off the pill for me to get AF and I went a bit mad symptom spotting and wasted 3 pg tests in that time. I think you’re right to try and hold off but yes it’s so hard!! I’m on cycle 2 and I’m just going to try and wait to see if AF arrives at any point ... if I go beyond the 45 days (cycle one length) then I’ll test

Hi hope it ok to join, ttc #3, have two kids 12 and 10. I was on cerazette for 10 years with no bleeds, last pill 14th July (4weeks today). No bleeds yet, it’s so hard waiting for first AF to arrive. Trying not to get to stressed.

Hey ladies, hope your all well.
I've had a crazy few weeks. I literally thought at one point I was pregnant.
Sore nipples, tender breasts, nausea like mad, craving pizza, exhausted... unlike I have ever felt.
Doctor was convinced and made me take a test. I'd missed 5 pills. BFN.... had some bloods taken and waiting for the test I had to re test as my symptoms hadn't shifter another BFN... bloods came back today... all normal part from liver function and one other thing being satisfactory.
No idea what's going on with me.
On the up point we've booked to go away in November for our year wedding anniversary so that's all exciting. Grin
How's everybody getting on? Xxx

@DaniX91 I’m great thank you, I've been on a
long break from the conception boards since mid August or so as I was on the verge of a breakdown, got way to intense for me and I was obsessed Shock still lurking about on Mumsnet tho - love a good CF parking thread etc 😂 how lovely of you to check on me. Me and DP have just moved into a new house so we are completely relaxed on the whole TTC thing now, just enjoying each other and our new home, if it happens it happens! AF is due tomorrow so I don’t take tests unless she’s a few days late. Coming up on a year for us so I’m hoping we have a little bun in the oven for Christmas. I will definitely keep you posted!

How are you keeping? How many weeks now? Hope you’re feeling ok 😊x

I'm good thanks, 17 weeks 1 day today, nearly halfway! We went for a private scan last week and found out we're having a baby girl 💗
