Anyone else fresh off the pill!?

Hi ladies!
As my DH and i habe decided to TTC I took the last pill in my packet on 17th December and had my breakthrough bleed start on the 22nd and end on the 26th. Now the wait begins to see whether my cycle snaps back to normal and of course whether I concieve! I had been on microgynon for circa 3 years.

Is anyone else in a similar position and entering 2019 pill free!? I thought this would be a good place to track and share our experiences as they happen!

@whatsthecraic91 hi, how u doing? I'm also 8dpo (we're cycle buddies 😊) currently getting slightly sharp crampy feelings but nothing else atm. I had a cold for a few days from around 2dpo and I'm feeling exhausted but don't know if that's just due to work and getting less sleep because of Love Island😂. My nipples are sore one day then fine the next, nothing like last cycle when they were so sore from 1dpo!
Flo is predicting AF for 4th but surely it should now be about 8th or 9th as I ovulated later than expected?

@Abi58 that’s the thing I’m not 100% when I ovulated because I wasn’t doing the tests properly so I thought I’ll wait and do it all next month. They are pro Matis ones I have just now. I’m just going to see how the next week plays out and hope for the best. I think I’m maybe about 9DO

@DaniX91 I’m exhausted now I just finished watching 6 nights worth of love island and I have to get up at 5.45 for work 😂😂

Maybe the cramps are implantation? Yesterday I felt like AF was coming but fine today so I’m hoping it means something! I never get sore boobs or nipples but they have been a bit tingly but I could be imagining it! Yea maybe as that would be a very short LP, I was going to wait til the 8th to test but I’m thinking now I might try one on Saturday morning 11DPO. When are you going to test?

I wish I'd spotted this thread back then - I came off the pill at the beginning of November and had a period 12-14th. I got pregnant at my next ovulation so I'm 32 + 5 today

@whatsthecraic91 omg u must be shattered now 🙈 Love Island really takes some dedication doesn't it! Totally worth it though 😂.

I don't know whether to just see if I can wait til the 8th to test cos I've seen a few posts about CP and I think I'd rather just not know.

So I'm 9dpo and I'm getting cramps, not strong like AF but definite cramps in the lower left side of my stomach (same place as my ovulation cramps) I'm hoping my period isn't on the way cos this would be far too short LP wouldn't it!
Anyone got any words of wisdom for me?😊

I’m getting the exact same cramps they aren’t constant just on and off! I’m also constipated too which isn’t like me as I’m pretty regular! I think I’ll definitely try to hold off until Tuesday to test as I never thought about CP

Same, just on and off! Surely we shouldn't be getting AF just yet at just 9dpo?
I've heard that constipation and diarrhoea are both a sign so 🤞🏼
I've just read too much about it so I'd rather wait to see if AF shows.
Just wish it was next week. I took my last AF really well as I was just pleased my body was working so soon after stopping my pill, got a feeling this one will get me down though if it shows.

I’m just so afraid my mind is playing tricks on me it’s so hard playing this game every month this is cycle 6 for me this is my first cycle using the OPKs now so I’m a bit over obsessed this month. Fingers crossed for us both x

I think there's a good chance that Amy might too!
This is only my first proper cycle since having a period after the pill so I really shouldn't let it get to me if AF does come but I can't help feeling demoralised!
How often were u dtd in your previous cycles compared to this one?
We did it loads more this month x

@DaniX91 I know how you feel, I think this month will kill me if AF shows. I know 6 months isn’t a long time but it feels like forever

We weren’t tracking or anything up until this month so we were doing our usual 3/4 times a week, this cycle we DTD nearly every night of my fertile week and on the day of ovulation! It’s fun trying tho which has brought us a lot closer

@whatsthecraic91 6 months isn't a long time when u hear some people's stories but I don't agree with having to try for a year before going to the doctor's.
My friend (who fell pregnant while on the pill) really hurt me the other day by saying "it hasn't worked yet? If it doesn't happen when you're off work for the 6 weeks holiday's and you're stress free then I'd go to the doctor's!"

I hope you don’t mind me joining. I’ve read through the thread from the beginning and found it so helpful. I came off the pill at the beginning of June after 16 years on microgynon 30. I am 31 and ttc my first. This is all so new to me and I am finding the whole thing overwhelming. I seem to be thinking about it all the time and symptom spotting! I got my withdrawal bleed within two days of coming off the pill for about 5 days. I haven’t had AF since. If I count from first day of bleed today is CD33. I have no idea if I am ovulating as haven’t been testing know it could take a while for my cycle to regulate. I have been DTD every 2-3 days in the hope that I could be one of the lucky ones who fall pg straight of the pill. The only symptoms I’ve noticed is mild pains in the abdomen and more recently lower back ache. I know this could easily be pre AF symptoms! Also been a bit blocked up and it’s currently hot weather so this is a bit odd but could be hay fever! I have been super bloated since I came off the pill so for me I feel I have gained weight rather than lost it! Sex drive however has gone through the roof! I haven’t had any other signs I could be pg but I have a hen weekend coming up and it involves a spa so I’m thinking maybe I should test to make sure but I’m absolutely terrified! I’ve never POAS before!! It would be great to feel like I can share this journey with others. Any advice very welcome!! X

I really think AF is on the way, had sharp pricking feeling right down low today and a bit of backache. Just finished work and came to the toilet expecting it to have started but have a lot a creamy cm instead.
How are u feeling, have your cramps stopped?

@DaniX91 I’m just really invested this month as I have tracked etc and I just want to know!! They had a bit yesterday day and last night I had fanny daggers and AF style cramps all day but I’m due until Tuesday, I know I’m getting my hopes up!

Yea I think I'm getting my hopes up too, we should really try not to cos then we're guna be absolutely gutted if AF shows but it's so hard not to! I'm cd29, what are u?

I’m CD 27 I’m usually 30 day cycle but ovulated CD17! I have just had loads of creamy milky CM too there now just after a pee, hopefully another good sign!

I know I’m gonna be so gutted this month if she shows her face

@whatsthecraic91 I don't suppose you'll know how long your LP usually is if this is the first month you've tracked ovulation?

@DaniX91 😂 I did have backache (not trying to get anyone's hopes up as symptoms can be so similar and everyone is different) (also it's nice to be pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed 😁🙈)

I thought I was out as unlike the previous month my nipples were fine, not sore at all, I had cramps and 'fanny daggers' and on off backache and waves of nausea (although that hasn't left me since ovulation so 🤷🏻‍♀️)

@Abi58 I've not really had sore nipples at all compared to last month when they were absolutely killing from 1dpo!
I can't help but get my hopes up😂 haven't really had any nausea.
Are u guna have an early scan?
