Anyone else fresh off the pill!?

Hi ladies!
As my DH and i habe decided to TTC I took the last pill in my packet on 17th December and had my breakthrough bleed start on the 22nd and end on the 26th. Now the wait begins to see whether my cycle snaps back to normal and of course whether I concieve! I had been on microgynon for circa 3 years.

Is anyone else in a similar position and entering 2019 pill free!? I thought this would be a good place to track and share our experiences as they happen!

Do u mind me asking what symptoms u had/are having? How many dpo were u when u tested?x

I tested

Sorry sent too soon I was 11dpo when I tested! I also tested at 10dpo and it was negative. Used an IC first.
I had very bad af type cramps but apart from that I haven't had many other symptoms if any.
How are you doing?

I'm the same still waiting for a period. Stopped taking the pill 1st week of Feb so not long after you. It's so frustrating and Drs don't take it seriously either. I'm getting really impatient now!
Let us know how things go. Fingers crossed 🤞 you did ovulate and get a bfp soon.

@Kinsella82 AF has arrived for me. Does anyone know if 11dpo is early too be getting AF? This is my first one in 11/12 years! Only took my last pill on May 10th and ovulated on 25th so I'm taking it as a positive that things have went back to normal within a month

@niffler2019 I know. I've managed to get some blood tests done by just ringing a lot! Try it - and use some specific hormone names, they might give you some tests too... good luck:)
I get my results on Tuesday and I kind of hope something's up so I can do something about it!

AF has arrived..... onto cycle 6 then!

I came off my pill in December 2018 had withdrawal bleed and then a period one month later and now nothing for 80 days and counting.
I’m tracking on the Flo app. I came off the pill a few years ago and went to the dr because my periods hadn’t returned after 6 months. They did a blood test and it came back fine. Just seemed to take ages for my cycle to get back to normal. We aren’t ttc just yet. I’m 28 this year and literally half of me is desperate for a baby and the other half is terrified. I love my job but it’s busy and stressful and I’m so worried about how I would cope with having a child and super busy work life. Any words of wisdom?

So I had my blood test and they came back with high oestrogen... the Dr said she didn't know what that really meant so she'd refer me to a specialist. She then called back saying that she and the specialist thought those results could be "pregnant" results... and I've just done 3 pregnancy tests with 3 BFP...!!! It doesn't seem real.

Right so I’m trying these ovulation tests I’m CD 11 I’m due to ovulate in 5 days if my app is correct. It says that 2 lines are meant to appear and if the test line is darker than the control line then that’s a positive. Why is there no test line on mine? Are these faulty tests? This is the second day in a row I’ve tried and I’ve not peed or drank loads before hand. Any ideas?

@whatsthecraic91 some people have lines all month as you can have LG in your system all the time. I only tend to start getting faint lines very close to ov so don't worry the test is fine you will get a line closer to ov 😁

@Abi58 okay I’ll just test everyday then and see what happens! I decided to test this cycle to make sure I’m ovulating as it’s cycle 6! How are you getting on?

I finally got AF on Sunday after 4 months of waiting. Never been so pleased to have a period! 😂 I did wonder if I'd ovulated as I had loads of ewcm 2 weeks prior. Excited to start tracking ovulation now, I've bought a load of opk tests!!! Fingers crossed AF is going to be regular

@Niffler2019 yay! Probably the last time you'll be happy to see af! 🤞🏻 for you! Take opks from cd 8 (not first wee - opposite to pg test) and when you see the line getting darker test 2-3 times a day if you can until you get your peak 😁🤞🏻

I'm ok thank you. Had my bfp towards the end of May but then bled a week later then afterwards got negatives, drs said it was an early miscarriage. Hoping this month is luck again but this one sticks! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 now 3dpo so just a long waiting game 😩 trying to keep myself occupied haha

@Abi58 aww I’m sorry that happened to you! Finger crossed for this month! When are you going to test?

@whatsthecraic91 thank you, barely anyone knows in real life so it's nice to be able to be open here. Ideally Saturday next week (29th) when af is due to avoid that again buttttt I have zero will power and will be impatient, last month was at 10dpo so Tuesday, I'm going to try and hold out but only time will tell if I can 😂🤞🏻

@Abi58 it’s nice to be able to share with complete strangers! The only one who knows we are TTC is my best friend and she has no kids so she doesn’t get it

Definitely try to wait as long as you can tests are expensive! 3rd day in a row of negative OPKs I’m due to ovulate Sunday I know it’s so early but I just want to see it turn positive cos I’m convinced I’m not ovulating

Hi everyone! Hope you're all ok, feels like ages since I last posted!
Just after some advice really..
Took my last cerelle - 10th May
Flashing smiley on clear blue opk - 24th May
Static smiley - 25th May
AF came - 6th June and finished 11th June meaning I'm now on CD 14.
Flo is predicting ov day as today and Fitbit has it down as tomorrow.
I used the clear blue digital opk yesterday morning and this morning and got just a circle which means ov isn't even close.
Surely I should be getting a flashing smiley by now. I have had cramps in my left ovary area a little bit today and yesterday which I had last month when I ovulated.
We are ddt every day but it's getting quite tiring now!
