'O' day! Shared sanity for the TWW

Today is O day. I'm already dreading the TWW. I'm not sure I can bare two weeks of pretending to myself that it's all going to be wonderful news at the end of it, just to feel crap again. I already know I'm going to symptom spot like mad!!! And I think I could really do with the support this month. So anyone else?!

I’m pretty sure it’s my O day today. Haven’t had a +ve opk for some reason but have had ovulation pains today and I’m on CD13 today which is my usual O day.
What cycle are you on?

It's mine today according to my Flo app. Have DTD so now on to two weeks of constant symptom spotting.

Can I join in? It’s my first cycle since a miscarriage in early October, but we’ve been trying since July. I’m 99% sure I O’d on Sunday, cycle day 17. DH and I DTD on CD13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18, so I am particularly hopeful this month. If my calculations are right I’m 2DPO today, and my boobs started hurting yesterday! So it seems I’ve already managed to symptom spot at 1DPO
Somehow I think I’m going to be posting lots! Good luck to you all, and let’s settle in for a crazy two week wait

@Mseddy cycle 5 for me. It’s the not knowing that I hate, if I knew for definite that it would happen at some point then I’d be much more relaxed. Fingers crossed this is our month!

@FucksBizz sorry about your mc. Sounds like you’ve got this cycle pretty well covered! I O’d on CD13 and we dtd CD8, 10, 12 and 13 so hopefully we got it covered too.

Hi - it's O day for me today! Flo tells me this and I generally have a 30 day cycle, I'm on cycle 7 started May/June and nothing at all.

I'm testing on 19th if af doesn't get to me before then, I did have a romantic notion that I'd test on Christmas Day and give dh an amazing gift, but the reality is I'm far too impatient- if I even get to that point!

Thank you, it was a horrible experience but we are ready to try again, and I don’t feel as if I’m trying to replace my ‘lost baby’ if that makes sense. I used OPK’s and Boots fertility gel this month.

I’ve just got a new job, so I resigned from my old one today, and I’m working out my notice. I’m trying not to think too much about the impact that will have on my SMP entitlement, but my boss’s fury is a great distraction from frantic symptom spotting

@camdentownie I’m going to test around the 20th, as I have long luteal phases, but I love the idea of testing on Christmas Day! That would no doubt end in disappointment for me though.

Welcome everyone :) lots of baby dust to everyone! I'm not feeling positive this month at all. We DTD lots of times during the fertile window, but I'm just not feeling hopeful. Part of me is glad I'm not, because I think last month I was so positive that the fall out when AF came was too much. How am I only 3dpo though? This TWW is long!!

How is everyone feeling, any symptoms?? I have sore boobs which isn't normal for me post ovulation, but then again I'm only 3dpo so I can't be feeling anything!!

@Mseddy I’m 4dpo and I have such sore boobs already, and have done since 1dpo. I always get sore boobs in the lead up to AF, but NEVER this early. Even in the cycle I was pregnant it didn’t start until 9po. I hope this isn’t just my body playing a horrible trick!

Hi ladies 👋🙂 I'm 4dpo and my inner symptom spotting psycho is kicking in really early this month, so is it OK if I join you and bore you all to death with it?!

It was my pesky, cysty right ovaries turn to ovulate this month and had sharp ov pains Sunday, but still getting twinges now on the right and left, so not sure if I even actually managed to ovulate 🤷‍♀️ Boobs are starting to get sore as usual though, so think my body at least thinks I've ovulated and has whacked up the progesterone level... I think this TWW is going to be really, really long 😟

I already feel like this TWW is the longest yet!! I feel like being mixed in with December is making it drag, because December always feels like a long month!

I'm with you on the sore boobs. One of my cats jumped on me in bed this morning and I nearly hit the roof!

What cycle number is everyone on?

Cycle 8 here with DP, but technically cycle 50 (long and dull back story!). I always amaze myself that I'm still hopeful in every TWW, somehow expecting a different outcome to every cycle so far... Oh well, here's to keeping hoping! 🤞🏻🍀

I’m 8DPO and driving myself crazy! I tested today and BFN (obviously ) but I have, or have talked myself into having, soooo many symptoms. I’m really tired, I have had worsening sore boobs since 1DPO (!), I’ve been weeing much more frequently, but only actually producing a tiny bit each time just like in my first pregnancy, I have stretch marks underneath both boobs (why?!!! ), I’m so emotional and tearful, just like I was before my last BFP. On 6PO I had stitch, then a really sudden sharp stabbing pain low down near my left hip. I’ve since been experiencing tiny pulling sensations that seem like they are coming from just below each hip. I’ve had increased creamy discharge, TMI!, and I had a tiny spot of EWCM on the day I experienced the sharp pain, just like in my previous pregnancy. I’m also craving salt sooooo badly, just like I was with my first pregnancy, so much so that I demanded DH make me super noodles, which I normally hate, and then got really irrationally cross because I kept dropping them down myself I know I’m going to be furious when it no doubt turns out that it was all in my head!!
How is everyone doing? Coping with the TWW better than me no doubt?

I'm 7/8 dpo today and also tested (obviously BFN too). I also have sore nipples and have had since about 2dpo which is really unusual for me.

I had ewcm today too and went out of my way to go and get those really awful, cheap space raider crisps on my way home from work today 😂 I never eat them usually.

I've had sharp little stabby/ pinching feelings too. Fx 

8dpo here too @FucksBizz, but nowhere near your exciting level of symptoms! I had one hell of a stabbing pain on the right side this morning that had me nearly doubled over on the train, but literally nothing else 😕 Even my boobs seem less tender than they were yesterday, which is weird because they're usually uncomfortable right up until the day of or before AF... beginning to wonder with the pain this morning if I'm having an annovulatory cycle 🙄 Dodgy, cysty right ovary might have prevented an egg being released, which I'm guessing might be what this mornings pain was about 🤔 The really irritating thing is that if I'm right, AF will be late and that in turn will give me false hope! Urgh! 😣

When is AF due for you? By the sounds of things you'll be POAS daily anyway?! 😉 Wishing you luck 🤞🏻 🍀

My nipples don’t especially hurt, but the whole rest of my boobs do, underneath from my rib cage right into my armpits. My boobs ALWAYS hurt before AF, but never starting so early, and it just feels different. It’s painful in a different way to normal, I can’t explain it any better than that! Stabby/Pinchy feelings seem a good sign though, good luck my lovely!

@BambiOnIce it is an exciting level of symptoms isn’t it?!! Not just me who thinks that then? DH thinks I’ve taken leave of my senses It’s probably a safe bet that some of them are in my head, but I’m holding out hope that as I have so many at least one might mean something. Oh dear, I hate this ttc lark! I just feel absolutely convinced I’m pregnant, it’s probably just intense wishful thinking, and I didn’t feel like this with my first pregnancy, but it’s such a crazily strong feeling. If I’m not pregnant, then I’m genuinely frightened by my ability to convince myself I am.

Your stabbing pain sounds positive. But it’s so hard to say, it could be anything. Fingers crossed lovely! I’m not sure when my period is due because this is my first full cycle since my M/C. 14DPO is Sunday which is my CD31, which seems sensible as I have long cycles, but it could be anytime from the 16th (Sunday) to the 21st. What about you?

Just for fun, here are some photos of my two glaringly negative tests. The FRER is from this morning and the IC is from this evening. I know they’re negative because it’s bloody impossible for them not to be at 8DPO, but yet something keeps catching my eye on them both. Ridiculous!

AF due for me too on Sunday @FucksBizz, but if it's an annovulatory cycle it could easily turn up as late as the 21st... feels like a very long time to wait to find out what's going on! 😣

I feel like AF is coming but no sign yet, it's also too early but I'm getting little sharp pains really low down and I'm so tired  I hate this waiting, I feel like I can't think about anything else. Then I start to worry that it will never happen.

I tested again this morning at 9DPO. BFN I think I’m out this month. If I was pregnant it should show on FRER now. So fed up!

Even with a FRER you'd be lucky to get a BFP at 9dpo, so don't lose the faith just yet ✊

I think that's me out  just went to the loo and there's really light pink spotting which means my Flo app is now completely messed up and I have no idea what's going on. Aghhhhh.
