@MrsH497 stay in that relaxed frame of mind as long as possible! You may even be one of those lucky ones who it happens for straight away and you never end up like a crazy woman like myself 😂

Congratulations on your wedding and welcome to the thread.

I’ve accepted that AF is coming this week and I’m not going to be pregnant for Christmas. To try and not be devastated when it arrives I’m now competing with my trackers to predict my AF.

Clearblue Digital Monitor: Says it’ll arrive today.
FF: Says it’ll arrive tomorrow.
Me: Based on my LP I’m predicting Friday.

I’m not sure what the prize will be, though it’ll be interesting to see whether the ridiculously expensive Digital Monitor (which I don’t recommend) is more accurate than the free FF, though I amn’t temping which may make a difference.

Do any of you who use FF pay for the extra features? Would you recommend them?

Hi ladies just checking in to see how you're all doing :-) I've joined a pregnancy thread but can't keep away from you guys!

I have been very good at not POAS since my very faint positives, did another test today, a week after my very faint one, and have been really reassured to see an unmistakable dark line. Phew!

@eltzbee well someone needs to take over the essay writing now I'm gone! Haha well done on slimming world!

@cupcakesandglitter @validuser I found when I scrapped the OPKs and just temped it made me less crazy about everything, the OPKs didn't seem as helpful once I temped xx

@DuchessofPemberley so sorry to hear you're thinking AF might come. You never know though!! I've read some crazy stories so there's always hope until af shows her head.
I stupidly paid for natural cycles not knowing how good ff was on the app so I now use both! I saw you can add extra features but I'm not sure what more I'd want for the app - sorry not actually very helpful.

Can I ask - did you have much luck with OPKs as in getting +ves etc. And which ones did you use?

@DuchessofPemberley I will be joining you in the waiting for AF. Not sure when she will actually arrive could be 1 or 2 weeks yet. I’ve had enough of my OPKs! What’s FF? I may need to start temping next cycle...x

@mrsLbear I used the one step ones, and got near-positives most months with them along with ov symptoms (sore nipples and ov pains), so I do think they worked. Even with my PCOS. I did have to do 3 a day to catch the surge initially until i found the best time for me (around 1pm was strongest) but i think my lines were never really super strong - maybe i drank too much or just dont produce loads of LH. The CB digi ones didn't pick up my surge when the one step ones did so I preferred them. But in the end I concieved without them, which is mind blowing for me still! x

That's so interesting @Crossfitgirl I will try doing both from tomorrow (can't do the one step ones during the day today as I'm at work) and then see if I have more luck. I think I might have a similar problem to you - the surge not being strong - but lovely to hear it can still lead to a BFP! Thank you 😊

Hey @Crossfitgirl glad you're doing well - temping for me was pointless but I'm gonna give up the OPKs now and let nature do its thing. I have my PCOS scan today, finally stopped spotting but have stupid backpain that I just can't kick. Just hoping I get some answers🤷🏻‍♀️ x

I haven't been on much lately as I'm in the 2WW and trying very hard not to drive myself crazy! BUT OMG...I'm currently 10dpo and I think I might have had an implantation bleed. I've just been for a wee and wiped and the paper was very pale pink. I googled imaged "implantation bleed" and it looked pretty similar. Gahhhh. Very aware it could very well not be. But this is somewhat ruining my laid-back attitude to this 2WW. I historically never, ever spot before AF.

On top of that my boobs are STILL killing and have been consistently since ovulation day. For the previous two cycles it was much more on and off. No other symptoms to report. I have a horrible cold which is making me exhausted (was in bed for 8.30pm last night), but I think that's entirely separate.

Question when do I test? I really wanted to hold out until next Thursday as that would be CD36, which is the longest cycle I've had yet. But obviously now I am dying to see if this implantation bleed is correct?! Also DH is away that day and then we're both away (separately) that weekend, so we wouldn't have much time to savour it. But the thought of getting a BFN is already crushing.

@EltzBee yay for a massage - that will be a lovely treat. Think we all have to take care of ourselves during this emotional rollercoaster.

@MrsH497 welcome! Be careful just using the apps. I did this for the first two cycles and I think I actually missed my fertile period. I used OPKs this month and it was very cool to see when I had ovulated!

@DuchessofPemberley prize suggestions: a very large glass of wine.

@Crossfitgirl how're YOU doing!? What is the process btw, once you get a line? Do you ring drs? And then have to wait for 12 week scan? Or do you go in for a blood test? Sorry for all the questions I just realised I'm clueless!! (

@Delilah7 Not long until you're at 12 weeks now lovely! How's your hair looking btw?! :)

^ just to add, I'm 99% sure this isn't the start of AF. A) I normally get pretty intense cramps before AF and currently have nothing more than very mild occasional twinges B) I'm only on CD 28 and my cycles are usually 34 days+.

@MrsLBear yes I used the clear blue one with FMU on the same day I got my positive IC OPK. I've only had a positive clear blue once before in August and that came out of the blue with no flashing smiley beforehand. I've never done temping because I don't wake up at a specific time every day so it won't be accurate. Are you doing IC this month as well?

@purplefig that sounds promising!! I've got my fingers crossed for you... could you hold off testing until the weekend and use a FRER?

@MrsAW2018 I was planning to hold out until next Thursday (13th Dec) as that would be missed AF. Long cycles, so it would also be 18DPO lol. Is that a ridiculous wait?!

@purplefig kudos to you if you can hold off that long! I'm so impatient lol! Not ridiculous at all, it will be the most accurate at your missed period date so I would try and hold off until then if you can xx

So with my +ve ovulation test on Monday, how many DPO am I now? Confused 😩😂

MrsAW2018 if you got a positive ovulation test this Monday and it's now Tuesday I'd say you're 1DPO?

Hello all! I'm off work with a bug and turns out I don't even get to see my surgeon until late January, which sucks.

And I'm sick and feeling very sorry for myself!

@purplefig you got this💪🏻!!. I have to hold off until the 17th-ish of December but going away the weekend of the 14/15/16 so that should be a good distraction! I'm guessing I'm 2dpo now it's Wednesday?!

@ValidUser sorry you're poorly today ☹️ hope you can have a rest at home and recover quickly!
