@starkid Ah okay! Yep flashing smiley, every other day :) Then when you get the solid smiley, DTD that day and the next! I had 4 days of flashing smileys this month I was going mental, poor DH felt a bit deflated by the time we got to the end of the week!!! I’m just going in to my 2WW now and am honestly gonna and not think about it - I’ve done what I can, if something magic happens in there then great but at least I have Xmas to distract me!

@MrsEG - ah yeah that's a nice position to be in, all you can do is wait now so no pressure :)

Looking at Clue, my fertile week should be right over Christmas...! But then if I'm already getting a flashing smiley it might be a bit earlier than that.

@starkid Wow that is early - my smileys usually match my Clue app (well, my solid smiley usually happens the same day Clue tells me I’ll ovulate). FX you don’t have days of flashing smileys ahead!!! Perhaps you are just ovulating early?

@katbecool CD18 but this is our first month so at the moment we haven't started doing anything like temp or properly monitoring ovulation. Winging it this month!

@MrsEG - haha I know, we'll be knackered otherwise!

Hiya ladies. Oh my @KatBeCool that drink looks amazing. I love espresso martinis so I will defo enjoy that! Might have to give it a whirl. I am useless at making cocktails though.

So I'm on my 6th day of smiley faces (@starkid I think you can have up to 9 in a row or something) and my temp dropped down again today. Was climbing to 36.40 and this morning it was back down to 36.32 which is the temp I fluctuated on around cd7-8 and I'm now cd18. So I can't have ovulated yet (I know my cb hadn't gone to peak but I thought it was faulty 😂)

Fx you get it this month @FlapJackered! So gross but I love when I see that cm it's like nearing the finishing line. Though having said that I saw my first lot last Saturday and still no O! It's a slow one.

I need advice....Again!

So my AF came on Monday or so I think it did. I have had more spotting than an actually flow. It was really light on Monday morning red/pinkish and than just brown spotting once on the Tuesday. I've had no need to use tampons or anything it's been that light. Nothing at all yesterday apart from a little browish clot and nothing today again apart from lots of CM. So I am thinking that it finished yesterday but it just seems to have been so light even for me. I have been extra emotional and crazy too so don't know if my hormones are just a little off.

Has anyone invented the camera/scanner idea yet so we can just look and figure out whats going on ourselves!! Not sure what to do. Shall I just crack on and put this down as AF?

@DayDreamer1707 that sounds unusual! Do you normally have right periods?
I mean I could be jumping the gun but have you done a test?

@MrsLBear Yes I have light periods but not light to the point where I don't necessarily need to even use anything. I had light cramps too but it was the clot that threw me off. I never have them. I don't know if it's just from my MC but I have had an AF since then and everything was fine and this is just really odd. I was thinking of just doing a test just so I knew if it was just an odd cycle this time .

@DayDreamer1707 I would do a test just to know for sure. I had a CP that was very clot-like and spotty, only knew it was as my period was 3 days late and had a very faint positive. It disappear a few days after the clotting (tested again just to make sure). But on a more positive note it could be implantation? You won’t know until you test I guess!

@DayDreamer1707 I personally would but I am a (minor) poas addict. Plus I'm someone once I get something into my head I need to do it otherwise it plays on my mind.
I never used to notice clots when I'm on but I do now cos I'm almost looking out for them. I normally have quite heavy periods but a few months back I had one that only lasted a day if that. So maybe it's your body regulating/a funny cycle?

@MrsEG & @MrsLBear It was just 1 clot on it's own and wasn't runny if that makes sense, almost dry, very odd.

I know, I think I might just do a test then I can just put it down to an odd cycle. It wouldn't bother me as much if it was my first since my MC and if it wasn't so light. I haven't had any pregnancy symptoms but suppose I wouldn't until after implantation if that's what it could be. When should I do a test though...would I need to leave it a couple more days? This is pretty scary but I am just going to get it in my head that its an off cycle and anything else is obviously a massive +++

@DayDreamer1707 if the clot/spotting has ended, test tomorrow as if it was implantation, the HCG will start to kick in today. At least then you’ll know for sure!

@DayDreamer1707 was your "period" early? I would probably do it in the morning just for accuracy.

@MrsEG Yes Ive had nothing today apart from CM which is a little off in colour like a yellow but I'm guessing that just the tail end of the possible AF.

@MrsLBear I am not sure. If I was to go off how long it took me to have my first AF since my MC then I was technically a couple of days early. It took me 30 days to have my AF and this was on CD 25/26. But that could roughly be right for my cycles before AF but not sure.

I shall test and see what happens, no harm I suppose. Least I will know either way and then if it's negative I can start my SMEP plan on Saturday, if positive I will probably pee myself so i'll stay sat on the loo 😂

@DayDreamer1707 bodies are so weird! Think you've got a good plan. Keep us posted and fingers crossed you end up peeing yourself (which means BFP!!!) x

@purplefig I know it's so frustrating. I'd obviously love to have a positive test but I don't think it will be at all as I've had no symptoms really. It's more the not knowing and questioning everything. But yes got a plan x

@DayDreamer1707 I would definitely test tomorrow morning! CrossFit had spotting too for a good few days before her bfp. Keeping everything crossed for you!!

@MrsAW2018 those IC are apparently much less sensitive than they say, hopefully there will be a much stronger line on a frer tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Just spoke to bupa after being referred by the gp to a fertility specialist and it turns out it's not covered in our policy. I was only really doing it now as my DH loses his bupa when he leaves his job early next year but it still knocked me sideways that that's it now. No more help unless we pay for it (or go down the ivf route).

@FlapJackered I really do think it's just a messed up AF but least I will know for definite. Still having the odd cramp now so we shall see, not going to the OH. He can get a little excited and doesn't quite understand everything ha. Oh no that's crap news, what are you going to do?? Least you still have options x

@DayDreamer1707 my DH had a look and said it was a bfn 😔 we'll try again tomorrow I think.

@FlapJackered I heard that the IC were nearly as sensitive as FRER but I can't see how they are.

Not feeling very positive about this cycle anymore. 😢

@MrsAW2018 if you check out the reviews on Amazon a lot of people don't seem to get their bfps on them until well after af is due. 🤞🏻

@DayDreamer1707 hopefully you will have some good news to tell him tomorrow!
I think we are going to wait until we have been trying a year which will be Feb/March time and then see how much it costs to pay for it ourselves. Hopefully we won't need to!

@FlapJackered that’s annoying that it isn’t covered by your insurance! Can you afford to pay for it or will you rely on the nhs?

According to Flo I’m 12dpo today and af is due tomorrow. Not sure that’s right though. Anyway, we’ll see what happens I guess. Feeling really nauseous today but I don’t feel like af is approaching. Maybe it’s just sneaking up on me this month!

@stormtrooperjulian Will keep my FX she doesn’t show up tomorrow and you get some good news before Xmas! Will you test tomorrow or wait until you’re late?

@FlapJackered yeeees I love it!!! Looks unreal... definitely tempted me to finish the bottle of wine I've got sitting in the kitchen...

So today I felt like AF was coming (super early but I don't know what day I am) but I've just gone to the toilet, wiped and had EWCM. We DTD last night but I know it's not DHs swimmers, that's usually white way too much tmi..... but now I'm like ooh I'm trying to be calm and play it cool but then I also don't want to miss this opportunity 😂😂😂 who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ any ideas? Any help is appreciated at this point x

@MrsEG I think Flo is wrong about af being due tomorrow. That would give me a 23 day cycle and it’s usually 25 days (was 24 last month though)
