Really pleased for you @SerenaOverjoyed -although I'd be upset with the rmc too! Fingers crossed everything keeps going well.

@Lilimum6 so sorry to hear the spotting hasn't progressed. It's so so hard. Wish there was something we could do to help. I hope that your body kicks in ASAP and let's go before your scan on Sunday.

As for me...the tww is dragging already. I'm only around 4dpo but I'm already symptom spotting! Felt a bit sicky yesterday morning and today had a few pains low down on my right side. Hoping it might be implantation but think I'm clutching at straws. If this is my first "normal" cycle after losing bow in sept/Oct AF would be due on the 23rd (12 day luteal phase)...seems ages!

Yukka · 15/01/2019 18:13

@Serenaoverjoyed thats fab news, really hopefull the rest of the pregnancy goes well for you.

for those that asked yesterday, here's a scan pic. its not great as baby wouldn't stop wriggling. the white blob at the top is a hand, then at the bottom is two feet and the umbilical chord.

Looking forward to consultant session tomorrow to find out more about 'phase 2' care.

@lilimum6 its such a shame this keeps happening to you, the time it takes to TTC again is painful. Hope you get it sorted quickly after the scan on sunday.

@laney79 keeping everything crossed for you . . ! x

@Yukka lovely pic hun and yes me too just a little bit fed up with this now

InDreamland · 15/01/2019 21:31

Awww hello @babyYukka! 💖

@Lilimum6 I wish I could just wave a magic wand so you didn't have to keep going through this Flowers

Have had another cry. How do you all cope with the due date? 2 this year to deal with, the first is on Friday next week. I just don't know what to do. We've taken the day off work as I know I'll be a mess but I just don't know what to do. Will also be in the tww.

Laney79 · 15/01/2019 21:42

@InDreamland for beans due date in October I took the day off work so I could spend it with my other half. Had a lie in (and a cry) went for a walk, to the cinema and then went for a meal. Just to spend time together. Nothing specifically to mark it as such (other than me kissing the scan pic and sobbing) but just being together, talking about bean, and by that point bow too (I'd just got my negative test after losing my second by beans due date). It's hard but you cope. Bows due date is in April. I'm dreading it as I suspect Megan markle will be due around the same time so it'll be wall to wall royal baby watch when I should've been giving birth x

Laney79 · 15/01/2019 21:42

Gorgeous pic @Yukka xxx

TinyPaws · 15/01/2019 22:16

@InDreamland On my first due date I lit a candle with my partner and had a cry went through a few things I kept to remind me of him/her (although for some reason I'm convinced it was a him). It kinda helped.

Still got due dates #2 and #3 to come - in April and August.

fnej01 · 15/01/2019 22:53

Hi Ladies,

@Yukka beautiful picture congratulations!
@Lilimum6 so sorry to hear you have had a tough time.
@Laney79 hope 2ww is over for you in a flash with a rainbow at the end.
@KnitKitty Hope you are doing ok on your RMC path
@Boboelephant Good luck for ivf!

Sorry to all the others I have missed, I have only been flicking onto the thread intermittently as feel a bit removed while not TTC and waiting RMC. My heart goes out to you for those with loses

As for me I survived due date number 1 in the last couple of weeks. It was fine. I am sad but much easier to cope with now on a break. Now April and June due dates to go...

Today I had my RMC appt at st Mary's the Tommy's research centre. If I am honest it was a little underwhelming and I didn't come away any more informed than I went but that's probably reflective of the many hours of research i've done. So scan was fine, bloods taken, back in six weeks for more bloods and then appt in early April for results. Then I can get back on the TTC wagon. I asked about age, as I am 38, doc said can't rule it out as an issue, but would only look into chromosomal etc if next miscarriage once ruled out clotting, aps etc. So now we wait....

In other news 23 days until my wedding eeeek!

Lilimum6 · 15/01/2019 23:26

@fnej01 thanks for your thoughts. Omg 23 days that's gonna fly by

Laney79 · 16/01/2019 07:51

@fnej01 sorry to hear you felt a bit underwhelmed by your appointment. Think that if you are a research nut (and I am MOST deffo one!) it's hard because you already have a knowledge base and have probably ruled out several things before you get there, but the drs assume you know very little.
I'm not under an rmc but the consultant I saw was very honest with me and clocked I'd done my research. He even said to contact him with any more questions but if they were too technical he'd have to ask his colleague who was researching MC's as he may not know the answer!
But the good news is the tests are being done-sounds odd to say this but you'll know what I mean-fingers crossed they find a "simple" problem that they can treat easily for you-I personally wish they could do that with me, I'm no good with the unknown or this notion of bad luck!

InDreamland · 16/01/2019 08:26

@Laney79 @TinyPaws ❤💐

@fnej01 eeaaaakkkk 23 days! Hope you're feeling all prepared and organised. That will fly by and before you know it will be here!

fnej01 · 16/01/2019 09:26

Thanks ladies @Laney79 @Lilimum6 and @InDreamland. I think I am fairly organised, just waiting some deliveries and obviously some bills to pay. Excited for time to fly now!

@Laney79 completely understand the wanting an answer... I think no answer is harder to deal with. They did manage my expectation yesterday by saying they only get a diagnosis 50% of time. 🤞

Thanks for all of the ongoing support ladies...

strawberrye · 16/01/2019 14:51

Hi ladies I am feeling quite down todày..my friend has had her 12 week scan which has thankfully gone very well, happy for her as she has suffered losses last year. But we were only a week apart with my third pregnancy and it feels like a dagger twisting in my stomach that I'm not also getting my scan picture and finally having a pregnancy which reaches 2nd trimester. I really feel this is never going to happen for me. Even the "miscarriage what every woman needs to know" book seems to discount very early miscarriages/chemical pregnancies and I am petrified of going to my RMC appointment and them saying because my losses were so early it's just one of those things. Why in that case has it happened 3 times in a row to an otherwise fit and healthy 27 year old? SadConfused

MeghanV07 · 16/01/2019 19:34

@strawberrye it's bloody though isn't it. The day I had my miscarriage in September, a friend send us a video of her saying she was having a little boy. You want to be so happy & grateful they're having a healthy pregnancy, but you can't help but be bloody jealous! Sending you lots of love xxxx

Yukka · 16/01/2019 21:19

@strawberrye my first 2 losses were at 5w and 3rd at 9.4. I felt the same as you but they totally treated the first two as legitimate pregnancies. They did all the tests even if to rule out any conditions. It might be bad luck - different chromosome issues etc each time and your body is doing what it should, but have faith if that’s the case you have really good chances of getting your rainbow baby xxx

OP posts:
fnej01 · 16/01/2019 21:30

@strawberrye my 2nd and 3rd losses were both 5-6weeks and they have both been regarded as miscarriages and their legitimacy as losses never questioned x

Laney79 · 16/01/2019 21:53

@strawberrye both of my babies only made it to 6 weeks-both were missed mcs so I didn't find out till 9 weeks but they are both considered miscarriages by the health professionals. Hugs xxx

rdm10 · 17/01/2019 21:59

@RedRobin7 did you test today?

Tryingforkittens · 17/01/2019 22:24

Thought you guys might appreciate this...

When I came off the pill my acne increased which I obviously found annoying. I haven't had any for a few weeks since miscarriage and I'm waiting for my first ovulation and AF after... so I've been slightly pleased this week to see a few spots appear... means things must be getting back to normal! Never thought I would be pleased to see them!

Laney79 · 18/01/2019 08:40

Arghhh....I just need to vent.

TWW is rubbish, only 7dpo and already totally obsessed with symptom spotting. The days are going so slowly and I'm reading far too much into every feeling/drop of CM/tiny possibility of nausea.

It's making me even more nuts than I was-and frankly I was already a fair way down that particular track. Any suggestions on distractions or ways to protect my sanity? I know if it's a bfn next week I'll fall apart, despite the logical bit of my brain desperately trying to keep me on a sensible path...this time last year it was all so easy, I didn't even test until I was over a week late! Arghhhhhhhh

Beaglemum93 · 18/01/2019 08:53

Congratulations on the good scan @Yukka!

I need someone to remind me next cycle not to test early, I'm going insane! On Tuesday (9 dpo) there was a very very faint line, on Wednesday there was a faint line (faint but obviously pink and obviously there). Yesterday it was back to very faint but today's test was darker than Wednesdays! I don't even know what is going on! I guess only time will tell...

Laney79 · 18/01/2019 10:11

Ooh fingers crossed @Beaglemum93 -were you using frers? X

Beaglemum93 · 18/01/2019 10:35

Yeah, I've been using FRERs @Laney79. I think the line is still too faint for 12 dpo though so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. I've had to ask my DH to hide the rest of the tests so I have to wait before testing again haha

Laney79 · 18/01/2019 11:05

@Beaglemum93 it could be ok-I was googling this morning and I read you can implant as late as 12dpo! I know one of the ladies on a previous version of this thread didn't get a line until 15dpo and I was curious how she'd got on so I checked the other day-she gave birth to a healthy boy. Keeping fingers crossed for you.
I have 4 frers and desperately trying not to test until at least 12dpo...5 agonising days to go!!!

Beaglemum93 · 18/01/2019 11:46

@Laney79 That's great news for her, it's nice to hear that she went on to have a healthy pregnancy after a miscarriage. The waiting is the worst! You have so much more self control than me if you can wait til 12 dpo! I really wish I could wait til after AF is late...
