Hope you got some support today @meghanV07 X

Lilimum5 · 05/12/2018 19:04

@MeghanV07 how you doing hun x

fnej01 · 05/12/2018 19:25

@KnitKitty I feel like this month I have had PMS symptoms during ovulation which isn't something that's normal for me. I figure it must just be hormones settling - or I am just tired and ratty.
I too have looked at adoption. I am blessed with a teenage stepson, but can't imagine growing old without having a child of my own. I think time is a wonderful thing, you need to sit with stuff for a while and then follow your instincts. It's really easy to get caught in the pain of miscarriage and just keep ploughing on.

@MeghanV07 hope you are ok. @Lilimum5 I hope you get answers, I don't know how you are managing to cope.

To all of the weird OPK ladies I did have several days of strong positive for this month. Am only half tracking but a good 48 hours. Only other thank us have you done a pregnancy test and ruled it out?

@Russkispy good luck. It only takes one 🤞

Russkispy · 05/12/2018 19:50

@MeghanV07 how are you doing?! @Lilimum5 , I do really hope soon enough you get the answers!

MeghanV07 · 05/12/2018 20:46

The Dr said it could one of two things, a threatened miscarriage or a chemical pregnancy. She said as long as I don't bleed any more in the next couple of days then to rule out that bleeding. I need to test every Thursday till I get to 8 weeks and if I have any more bleeding around 7 weeks then to ring up and they will scan me. She said there isn't much they can do at this stage (I was hoping she's suggest a blood test) but to just basically wait and see. But I do feel better I've spoken about it to her as if anything was to happen, at least I've made a note of my worries now.

Thank you all for checking up on me ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Boboelephant · 05/12/2018 21:54

@SerenaOverjoyed I know what you mean. We'd love to do a Caribbean holiday but everywhere we look is a no go. it is difficult! It's a bit further but Thailand is great.
@Tinselbee how are you getting on today?
@DayDreamer1707 and @OctoberGirl91 sorry you are both having so much confusion around opks. As others have said MC can really wreak havoc with bodies and cycles for the first 6 months so I would try and wait for af and hopefully things regulate soon. Its possible to have several surges and the egg release not complete. Although if you can JKS go for it!
@Merlin, @Wearytree and @granolacrayons welcome and so sorry for your losses.
@Laney79 hope ov is soon hun. CD15 here so hoping mine is this weekend too. Second what KnitKitty said. 40 soon or not, you're clearly still very fertile!
@fnej01 glad your test was ok. 'Fanny scan' 😂😂
@KnitKitty it's so hard trying to decide what's the best move to make. I hope your break brings you some clarity and I know whichever way you get there, you'll be a wonderful mum one day.
@Mistymeow hello stranger! Awesome that you got your IVF appt coming up. Not sure what happening but maybe you are being struck with the bfp before IVF lucky charm? 🤞 Will you test again or wait?
@Russkispy I have everything crossed that one egg is all you need!
@MeghanV07 Glad you are feeling a little better. Hope everything continues well and bubs stays put.
@Lilimum5 sorry you are having such a confusing time! Hope you get some answers soon.
@Justincase87 good luck for Friday.

CD 15 here and hoping to ovulate over the weekend. Had a few day 22/23 ovulations the last 2 months which have been crap so hoping for earlier. I've been chugging down grapefruit juice and seeds and had acupuncture tonight so fingers crossed!

Russkispy · 06/12/2018 08:06

Better news today! My little embie is progressing nicely and already ahead of today’s stage! Already divided into 5 cells on day 2. My little fighter! I got a video and picture of it! Got all emotional!

Laney79 · 06/12/2018 08:08

Ah @Lilimum5 you really are going through the mill -big hugs.

Thanks to all who replied. Cd14 and still no high fertility on the clear blue gadget and barely a line on ic opks...latest I've had a positive opk in the past has been cd14 in the arvo so will retest again later. Annoyed with the clearblue thing as it's stressing me out. Only started using this one this month as I thought seeing high fertility as well as peak would help (previously only used the peak fertility sticks that give you the two fertile days) -but it's just stressing me out! Had ewcm since Tuesday. Dtd mon and tues. Not sure I'll be able to get OH in the mood again (he's struggling with stress/depression again) and I'm away most of the weekend with my mom.

So wanted to be preggers again by Christmas. Hey ho.

Can I ask if anyone has had their vitamin D levels checked? I'm a bit worried about it. I take pregnacare pre conception but wondering if I should also take a separate D supplement...but then worried about overdosing! Anyone else taking coq10? I'm wondering if maybe that is lengthening my cycle? Making ovulation late?

Arghhhhh I'm obsessing again...I'm truly bonkers. Oh for the days of "if it happens it happens" -life was so simple then. X

Lilimum5 · 06/12/2018 08:21

@Laney79 I didn't know q10 could lengthen your cycle hope it does I'm taking it and I Could use a few more day I'm a 24 dayer
@wow how exciting I don't know how it works but I'm still so excited for you x

Laney79 · 06/12/2018 08:23

Ah lovely news @Russkispy fingers crossed for you xx

DayDreamer1707 · 06/12/2018 08:41

@Boboelephant thank you, suppose it's wishful thinking everything to just go back to normal isn't it.

@MeghanV07 I'm hoping everything works out for you, must be so awful not being able to do anything but you seem to be being so strong FX xxx

@Russkispy I bet that was amazing to see xx

Currently on CD23, I haven't done any test as it's too early yet I think, just holding out for AF. Used to have cycles that averaged around 23 before MC and I''m thinking she will be here any day now with how emotional I've been!!

MeghanV07 · 06/12/2018 08:48

Thank you ladies ❤️

@Laney79 I did read somewhere that pregnacare can lengthen your cycles! Xx

Beaglemum93 · 06/12/2018 09:09

That's great news @Russkispy!

@Laney79 is this your first cycle since M/C? It's mine and I only got a positive opk yesterday which is 2 days later than usual.

I'm still getting faint positives on hpt but at least it looks like my GP was right and I can still ovulate with small levels of HCG in my system.

Mistymeow · 06/12/2018 09:18

@Russkispy I completely missed that you got your BFP! Big congrats! Great news that everything is progressing nicely.
@MeghanV07 sorry that you are going through spotting, I would feel exactly the same. GP sounds reassuring (sometimes I think getting the blood tests is more stressful, with the wait). I'm sure you know but spotting is very common in early pregnancy, but of course you are upset because of what happened in your last pregnancy. Also, hormones will make things feel even more emotional than they are. I hope everything settles soon.
@Laney79 Is there a reason why you think your vit d is low? How is your energy? I assume the pregnacare will contain vit d but if you are worried do get it checked (a very common deficiency, especially in winter)! I know it's hard but see if you can find a way to not stress so much, because this can delay ovulation/disrupt cycles. It's a vicious circle which I have been victim of- I worry about my cycles/ttc and several times I've o'd on cd21! I really want you to have a nice Christmas after all you've been through hug
@boboelephant Hello fellow thread veteran! Yes, first fertility appointment on tuesday. When is yours? Ours is just for initial testing (although have had all the bloods). I'm still spotting and getting stabby pains. Did another ic today (11 dpo) and there is something, but too early to tell really.

Has anyone had much success with the superdrug pregnancy tests? The ic are so rubbish but I can't afford the more expensive brands.

Wearytree · 06/12/2018 09:20

Hi ladies,
So I got three 🙈 positive opks yesterday because I was testing every few hours to see how long the surge was. DTD yesterday morning and this morning and currently lying propped up on pillows (is this still tmi?!?) both ovaries painful though? The left more than the right but then during DTD the right one really ached. Is this normal?

Had a stabbing in left ovary yesterday afternoon but before my opk was totally positive so now worried that if I did ovulate it was too soon, before the LH surge, which I've read can happen in older ladies.
I'm stilll stressing about the 9.1 fsh too.
Sorry for the essay!

Russkispy · 06/12/2018 09:44

@Mistymeow I'm not there yet! I've been going through IVF and only 1 survived after fertilisation. And it will be transferred on Saturday! And hopefully there's BFP at the end of this journey!

TinyPaws · 06/12/2018 09:59

So sorry for not reading/replying to everyone but I need to blurt this out somewhere. I'm pregnant after IVF but I think I'm having a chemical or ectopic pregnancy. Sad

DayDreamer1707 · 06/12/2018 10:04

@Mistymeow I have never used a Superdrug test but I have used some co-op ones as that was the closest shop to me and they worked fine for me. Gave me 2 BFP's and was confirmed by a clear blue. I always think a positive is a positive as long as your aren't testing too early x

Beaglemum93 · 06/12/2018 10:10

@TinyPaws what makes you think chemical/ectopic? How far along are you? Hope everything is ok.

Mistymeow · 06/12/2018 10:14

@Russkispy oh I'm sorry, got ahead of myself there. As someone about to embark on my own assisted fertility journey I really should be a bit more clued up! Everything crossed for you x
Thanks @DayDreamer1707 good suggestion. I'm testing too early on the ic really. I don't feel too hopeful, think it's a hormone imbalance causing spotting.
@tinypaws oh no, are you having heavy bleeding? What has the clinic said? Please take care of yourself and keep us updated.

Russkispy · 06/12/2018 10:19

That's ok @Mistymeow ! @TinyPaws , congratulations on BFP, but what makes you think about chemical/ectopic?! Fingers crossed it's not the case!

TinyPaws · 06/12/2018 11:36

Pregnancy tests are looking much fainter than previous pregnancy and little/no progression. I'm only 4+1 (10dp5dt), got the first positive nearly 4 days ago but they've not got much darker at all and today's free is actually fainter than the one I took 2 days ago.

TinyPaws · 06/12/2018 11:37

Today's FRER, that should say.

Lilimum5 · 06/12/2018 12:17

@TinyPaws it would be better if you could get bloods instead will your doc do this for you

Lilimum5 · 06/12/2018 12:18

OK update bloods from yesterday are lower than Monday but not by much so bloods again on Friday then????
