Reality - Is it possible you ovulated later than you thought? That can happen for various reasons. Also it sounds like if your AF had arrived when you thought it would then your LP would be really short, is that normal for you?

Karigan - try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy. My one regret about my 10 week pregnancy early last year was that I spent the whole time stressimg about what could go wrong and distancing myself from it so it would hurt less, that when it did it was no less upsetting apart from it felt less like it happened and I was less positive about any future prospect. I vowed that if I were lucky enough to get pregnant again I would do it differently mext time. Be more relaxed and take things as they come. Freaking out will not change the outcome, just spoil the time you have

@Cleozeta it depends how good the clear blue fertility moniter is?!? I’ve been having 26/25 day cycles since September. Started using opk in November cycle. The first month I didn’t get a peak smiley. December I got two one on 20th and one on 21st, then got a high on 22nd and back to low from then on. It stopped asking me for tests once my period was due. Today I’m 13 days since first peak smiley. We dtd the Sunday before and then that evening 4 days later on first smiley day. Just been to GP he was useless! Basically says 50/50 chance I’m pregnant, not unusual for hpt not to pick it up yet and to wait till next Wednesday ( If period doesn’t come) for a blood test. 😡 by then I’ll be 12 days late 😬

@Reality if you ovulated on 22 Dec I wouldn’t expect your period to be due yet, unless (as Cleo says) you have a very short LP?
You are 10 dpo now, which is still too early for most pregnancy tests, but might be picked up on a frer x

Sounds like you need to just hold out a little longer, once you get past 14dpo then you can consider it odd. It's probably just a longer cycle. Mine vary a bit too. This time it will be shorter than my usual 27 days based on when ovulation happened

@Cleozeta and Rose68 yes maybe just late ovulation. A bit gutted nothing is picking it up though. Have spoken to clinic and they have moved my saline infusion and scratch to 23rd now instead of 16th jan. I’ve got to ring them Monday and update them on AF 😬

Yeah our cycles always mess us around when we have something planned too. I have a hycosy test on 31st Jan. Had planned it so it would be done after AF but before ov. So of course it's a shorter cycle this time meaning ov will have already happened by 31st and we won't be able to try next cycle

I have been wondering if we should try to do a new list of everyone on here.... rather than one person updating the previous list, we could start a totally new one... one person could start with their details and the next person copy and paste and add themselves in alphabetical order etc....

@cleozata typical isn’t it. I’m really panicking now that it’s gonna muck up all of it. DH goes skiing end of Feb with the guys. Now not sure whether we can squeeze it all in, before he goes. May have to wait for when he comes back and delay it all by a month or so and have the scratch in Feb.

@Rose68..yes great idea about a new list.. does everyone agree and if so, who wants to start the ball rolling?!

I agree about the list and would add that it would be good if someone reposted it regularly in an easy-to-find place...either near the top of every page with a 5 or 0 at the end, for example, or as a first post every new edition ie. "Winter baby dust/August baby dust" etc.

@Orchid222 just wondering how you're getting on. Hope you're well?!

Took Clomid cd5-cd9, had a private scan on cd10. It showed 12 follicles, 6 on each side! (Only had 7 with IVF). Shagsthon successfully completed. I came first, excuse the pun. And now in tww. My clinic is on standby for sending me meds for a fresh round of IVF. It will be a short protocol again. And they will use a couple of new techniques for egg fertilisation including PICSI if needed. So will see how this cycle pans out. In the meantime having regular acupuncture and reflexology and tons of supplements

Over an hour ago I listened to Hypnosis for Fertility which relaxed me and I was feeling some weird sensations. Hard to describe. Suffice to say I'm still awake at this hour! Feeling all refreshed and clear minded. Just what the guy said in hypnosis, I'd feel!

Back in the desert after Christmas hols at home and off today to see my Greek God for next cycle. sigh
