@Critter you shouldn’t need to hand your notice in before you go on mat leave, I would go on mat leave for a year, taking all your stuff with you and then tell them you aren’t coming back once you are past Nov next year. x

Critter...omg I am shocked about the way that CEO treats you. Surely he could get in trouble for this as it's a form of bullying . Really hope you manage to escape from there. As Cleo says you won't give a flying fcuk about him when the babies arrive! Just look after yourself and those precious beans! x

Thanks critter, I had my scan today, and it looks like I've got 4 on each side, so 8 in total... is that bad? Had my AMH blood test too, so will find put about that at the end of January when I go back for my hycosy and consultation. Slightly anxious about that as I imagine it won't be great due to raised FSH

I have to go back for a second blood test on Sunday as they want to make sure my levels are going down. They saw some tissue on the scan which TMI alert I passed today at work...including the little embryo 💔 felt sad....but strangely glad that I saw the little bean as I didn't see any of the other mmc babies.

Onwards and upwards.... ✨🙏🏼

@CritterTamer the pics are lush and boss is a twat... not sure of employment law but worth double checking and then counting down the days.. but you can self certify up to 3 days at a time I think.. but you have HG he should be lucky you're actually in the office at all.. @karryk So sorry for little bean passing.. please take time to grieve.... and rest please
in councilling at mo for a lot of bits but we covered my miscarriage last week.. and was told that I probably didn't give myself enough time to grieve.. in an effort to get back into the baby making I wonder if we all hurry are emotions on.. have been given an article to read.. if useful will try and post..

10dpiui and BFN

@Presh12345, I never tested on 10dpo after my IUI. Synergy it's still too early? I had a visible line on 11dpo after all my IUIs. I hope there's still hope for you! Rooting for you!

@ChatBash72 ❤️ if you could share that article that would be great... I actually feel guilty that I'm not grieving enough..what with being back at work, dd1 and still coming to terms with mum's loss, I feel like I've let this little bean down... Sounds a bit crazy now I've written it out 😕?

Question for those on DHEA- what dosage are you all on and have you had any side effects? Thinking of starting it low dose.

@littlemimosa , before egg collection I was taking DHEA, 75mg, my doctor's recommendation and then I had to stop and still off it till I do the test on Monday. I was taking for around 2 months and didn't have any side effects. Hope this helps.

I am taking 50mg, I was a bit scared of 75 x

@Rose68 , doctor initially said 150mg a day! I was scared of that! Haha then we settled for 75. I was taking it 3 times a day. I only had a bottle of 25mg.

@Russkispy maybe I should up my dose then? I have 25mg tablets so it’s easy to increase. Well done for not symptom spotting! Do you have a blood test on Monday?

@Rose68 , don't think there's any harm to increase it? Yes, but I'll do the HPT first and if it's BFN , won't be going for bloods. I'm in Kent and it's a bit of a track to London for BFN!

I’m good thanks. CD10 and waiting for O signs. Feeling generally ‘dry’ again but thankfully no hot flashes this cycle so far. I’m getting dry eyes, nose and vagina tho! Ugh. I’m certain I’m low on oestrogen. That’s why I’m trying to put on a bit of weight as fat cells hold the oestrogen. Anyway just trying to hold out some hope.

Can I also ask which brand of DHEA you both have?

Ps I can’t remember who asked but the castor oil pack is supposed to be good for fertility. You drench a cloth in castor oil and put it on your lower tummy. You cover it with cling film (it’s super greasy) then pop a hot water bottle on top. You then just relax for 45 ish minutes. If nothing else it’s soothing and makes me actually sit down to relax!

The list of very unreliable bfp symptoms I experience monthly grows. Af arrived this afternoon on time, following a week of pinching, poking and pulling pains in the pelvic region, tiredness, increased hunger, metallic taste in the mouth. The body is cruel!

Oh mini I know exactly what you are saying. I get that too. It’s so cruel. Sorry AF arrived- it’s the worst time when ttc. Always hits me hard around AF time. Are you trying anything new recently? What are you taking / doing (other than having sex obviously!) Sorry if you’re repeating yourself but this group is growing and I’m struggling to remember everyone’s situations.

Trying nothing new just getting closer to throwing in the towel. Have been able to establish ovulation patterns using CB opks and the Fitbit, so have timed dtd better bit still no positives. Think we'll take this month off and then enquire about the possibility IUI, though at 41 and approaching 42 rapidly I fully expect to be told no by gp.

Mimosa - my scan was for a private fertility check. I have been wondering what my numbers mean and after readimg around it's not great. Am curious to hear what they suggest at the consultation in January but almost 6 weeks to wait!

I'm taking 75mg of DHEA 3 times a day. Just started on progesterone cream this cycle too, as AF came early last month.

Minime - I have different 'symptoms' every month too. So disappointing when AF comes after that. Good luck with looking into IUI. Are you thinking NHS or private?

Cleo - thanks for that. Do you take the 75mg split into 3 x 25mg doses?
Do you have the one from Biovea? Any side effects? I knew that really about your fertility check. Try not to get too hung up on numbers, as long as you're still ovulating you're in with a chance.
