@Rose68 Flowers

That sounds just like me...hardly any symptoms at all, just tiredness. The bleeding is just like a period so far. It might be early days yet but I was expecting more - I had a cp a few years ago and that was awful..deep stabbing cramps and lots of heavy bleeding.

I found when it was getting on top of me (before dd) that I just had to let go for a bit and focus on myself, mainly in terms of physical and mental healing. The rest, I left to the universe ✨ I'll do the same again...and try to focus on all the good things in my life in the meantime. I hope 2019 is a wonderful year for all of us ❤️

littlemimosa · 11/12/2018 23:45

Karry I’m so sorry to read your update. Sending another big hug your way. All hope is not lost. You can do it again x

Rose - I understand your emotions I really do. It’s so stressful and I feel so guilty for wanting another when I’ve already got two children. But the desire pushes me to keep going. I’ve found a way to juggle being a decent mum to them and looking after myself enough to keep going and keep strong. It helps that I quit my super stressful job and swapped it for a much easier one with less hours. Means I’ve got time to go to acupuncture, do lots of yoga and make healthy meals. If nothing else I’m healthier than ever lol.

Cleo - no idea on temps as you know. How many times have you dtd up to now? Do you think you’ve got it covered?

AFM - acupuncture today was relaxing and lovely. CD7 todsy snd so far (fingers tightly crossed) no hot flashes. Checked my bmi today and am 19.2 which is in the normal range but right at the low end of normal. Been reading some stuff which suggests that 20-25 is optimal for fertility so am still trying to eat a bit more. Will try anything around about now! Any thoughts on weight and ttc?

Snowie3 · 12/12/2018 09:01

Im sorry Karryk. Try to rest and I'm sure you will start to feel a bit better. My last miscarriage at 7 weeks felt like a normal period but lasted longer. There was little pain, the only unpleasant thing was that when i passed the sac i was out with a friend in the park! (Sorry if too much information) I had no idea when/how it would happen but luckily it wasnt painful and i could deal with it.

It's so bizarre what we have to deal with and no one knows what's going on most of the time!

Littlemimosa i have wondered about weight as well since my BMI is similar to yours. I am now dealing with it by adding more protein to my diet (or trying to) hoping it might help to gain and I've heard it is good for fertility? I find it hard to enjoy food when I'm stressing about infertility and so often make really bad food choices.

I had my last scan yesterday and egg collection is for Friday. I would have hoped for 1 or 2 more follicles but nevermind as we are doing our best. Fingers crossed they find some eggs. I find my sleep really difficult when I'm thinking about it all the time. Which means I'm exhausted during the day.

Hope you are getting on ok Orchid with your cycle?

Anyhow, have a nice day ladies!!

Orchid222 · 12/12/2018 09:44

Oh good luck on Friday Snowie! How many follicles do you have? I'm with you on the stressing front, not sleeping and being exhausted :( I keep worrying my follicles won't be large enough and I'll only have 2-3 the right size and it's really stressing me out. I have another scan today and EC Fri or sat depending on what the scan shows. Fingers crossed we both have some good eggs!
P.S. I did read that follicles keep growing after a trigger shot so if you have some smaller ones hopefully they'll catch up. That's what I'm hoping for!

Thanks minosa - I think we have it covered. Giving up om cbfm for this cycle as still only getting high's. Going with the 2 very dark +opk's instead. And had a very small temp rise this morning. Cd20, so quite late this month. Hopefully DH will still be able to 'perform' at the SA on Friday!

I also did accupuncture yesterday and got myself a new batch of extra delicious herbs. They seem to get yummier every time.

Not sure too much on BMI when TTC apart from they recommend to be in that middle bracket. Have you tried avocadoes? They contain lots of healthy fat, so good for weight gain, plus they contain loads of vit B6 which helps raise progesterone too.

Candy43 · 12/12/2018 13:36

So thought I’d take some vitamin b as I had a bit of a weird cycle last month with a totally 1 day only ‘period’ followed by a 14 cycle. To be honest I’m kind of wondering if ‘something’ happened but guess I’ll never know.

Anyway point to this post: don’t take vitamin b in the evening as it keeps you awake. Who knew!

Sorry to read your post Karryk :(

CritterTamer · 12/12/2018 14:57

Hi all. For those who were interested in an update, 12 week scan today was lovely I'm actually 11+6 today but babies are measuring 12+4 and 12+2. They're too big to properly focus on both in one image now so have attached pics of the two sacs together and each baby separately for those who wanted to see 😊
Good luck to those stimming and having ECs this week - I am proof that it can work! Xxx

@Orchid222 , everything will be fine! Keep calm and positive!

littlemimosa · 12/12/2018 21:41

Oh Critter gorgeous scan photos. You must be over the moon. Head to head is so cute❤️

Orchid - don’t lose hope. Keep the faith, it’ll all work out x

Lets- I’m ok thanks. Trying to keep the faith and praying for a miracle. Just sat here with a hot water bottle/castor oil pack on my tummy. Anyone else do this??

Rose68 · 13/12/2018 08:22

@Critter, lovely photos, thank you for sharing.

@littlemimosa, my acupuncturist told me that 21 is the ideal bmi for conception. My bmi last time I weighed myself was 22, but I’m not massively concerned about trying to bring it down to 21. What is the hot water bottle / castor oil pack for?

@Cleo my acupuncturist has given me some herbs too now, but they are in tablet form.

Good luck to all those doing ivf xxx

weasledee · 13/12/2018 09:58

Critter what fantastic pics! Can you believe it's actually happening!? I bet it all seems surreal :) are you going to find out what you're having?

Cleozeta · 13/12/2018 10:30

Rose - I've never heard of the Chinese herbs in tablet form! You miss out on the joy of the scrumptious tea

As for me, nervous about tomorrow's full fertility check. Anyone know what I should expect?......
