@EltzBee oh that's good then!! Iv never thought about it being the time that makes a difference, that's interesting and makes sense!!

Yes same my mum knows and close friends but extended family don't know, but will just start to say I think!

Got the gyno tomorrow ladies about my possible endo. Very nervous as find out if I'm having a lap. I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous but, if there was a little egg up there that wanted to implant, the gyno having a look up there tomorrow couldn't effect it could it? I don't know if he's going to want to have a look into my cervix or something like that? (He's me thinking I even have a chance at being PG!!)

@Delilah7 all ok here hun apart from rotten cold. How you feeling today?

Delilah7 · 20/11/2018 18:12

@SullyWifey lapropscopy is actually ok. I had one for suspected endo and it wasn't that but it really isn't too bad. You feel bruised afterwards but it's ok! oh no. Get that cold away! I'm ok. Get my other HCG levels tomorrow x

AngeloMysterioso · 20/11/2018 18:59

Evening ladies! Have been absent for a little while waiting for my thyroid issue to get sorted Smile how are we all?

Rachael321 · 20/11/2018 19:04

Evening all... still waiting for AF to show up since Friday! And still BFN 😞

AngeloMysterioso · 20/11/2018 19:07

@Rachael321 similar boat here. 3 days late, 3 BFNs. I've been pregnant before, that time I got a negative when I was a few days late and a positive after a week so I don't know what to think!

EltzBee · 20/11/2018 19:26

@SullyWifey yeah that's the only thing I can think of that makes that difference, anyhow! Lol.

Might be worth speaking to the gyno to check it's safe just in case?

SullyWifey · 20/11/2018 19:29

@EltzBee yes I think I will bring it up if it comes to it. Urgh god hate it.

@Rachael321 and @AngeloMysterioso oh no how frustrating...hard to know what the hell to think in that situation?? FX you get BFP in the coming days xxx

FlapJackered · 20/11/2018 19:33

Lots of us in the tww now! 🤞🏻fingers crossed its a lucky month!

Welcome back @AngeloMysterioso how are the thyroid levels looking now?

@Delilah7 good luck with the test tomorrow. I am sure it will be going in the right direction. When are you having your early scan?

@SullyWifey good luck for tomorrow lovely. I am sure it wouldn't effect any potential embryo. Not sure if it's what you're having or if it helps but I was super nervous before my transvaginal scan but it was actually fine. I asked if I could put the scanner in myself which made me much less nervous. I hope it goes ok, let us know how you get on x

AngeloMysterioso · 20/11/2018 19:42

Thanks @FlapJackered! They're still a little high but have been seeing GP and endocrinologist and they were happy for us to start TTC. Thyroxine has been upped to 75mcg/day. Feeling a lot better for it too!

Thanks @SullyWifey it's just the not knowing that is so frustrating!

Delilah7 · 20/11/2018 19:43

@FlapJackered I've got my second one next Thursday :)

FlapJackered · 20/11/2018 19:56

@AngeloMysterioso that is great you're feeling better and that the levels are going the right direction. I found I had so much more energy when I got my levels down.

@Delilah7 good luck lovely. Keep us updated 😘

SenoraSurf · 20/11/2018 20:10

@BabySquid oooo good for you for trying to wait. I totally get that it's best to wait but curiosity always gets the better of me (and most others on here lol). Testing on Sunday seems fair to me though, just don't celebrate until AF is defo late. I would rather know than have the torture of an extra few days not knowing x

PaintingOwls · 20/11/2018 20:58

Good evening all. I'm going to throw myself into this thread too, after a particularly nasty day at work.

Tracking OPKs for the first time this month and 6 days in I've not had a surge. The first day there was a faint line, so if that was my surge then I'm having a short cycle this month. Feeling very down and dejected about it all at the moment, hoping it's nice the weather affecting me.

EltzBee · 20/11/2018 21:14

@PaintingOwls welcome. Try not to be disheartened; OPKs for some of us are only positive once a day of or before ovulation, and some times a progression of the line getting darker. How long are your cycles usually?

Apps like fertility friend make suggestions on when to start using OPKs which can help to save using them too early.

purplefig · 20/11/2018 21:17

Lots of you in the 2ww! Fingers crossed for you all Grin

Day 12 for me - same faint line that I've had since day 8. Trying SMEP this month so started despite negative Opks.

purplefig · 20/11/2018 21:19

*day 13 🙄

MrsAW2018 · 20/11/2018 21:35

Has anyone here tried the soy isoflavones? I'm tempted to have a go but not 100% Sure. They seem to have a good track record though!

sunshine1987 · 20/11/2018 21:55

@mrsaw2018 I’ve looked into it and found this page about it which put me off though if I do end up having progesterone issues confirmed I’m going to reconsider xx

PaintingOwls · 20/11/2018 22:32

Thanks EltzBee average is 28 days but looking through my app the are several 26 and 31 day cycles, so I suppose it's possible that this is a long cycle.

FlapJackered · 20/11/2018 22:52

@MrsAW2018 @sunshine1987 I was looking at them a few days ago.
I found this thread which has inspired me -

I will read your link sunshine now so may change my mind. Desperate times call for desperate measures though!

EssJayyCee · 20/11/2018 23:12

So... I've got an ultra sound scan appointment for Friday... I just hope my work let's me switch my shift around or I won't be able to go!

I am so nervous but will be glad when I get some answers for my pains and irregular periods! Fingers crossed.

MrsR16 · 20/11/2018 23:14

Fingers crossed for you @EssJayyCee 🤞🤞

I'm wondering whether I'm ovulating at all - do any other ladies experience no pain with ovulation? I'm having spotting today (CD20) but can't figure out what it could be to do with

rj995 · 21/11/2018 03:28

Hi ladies, been quite for a few days waiting on AF arriving, after going back and foreword thinking I'm pregnant, AF has officially arrived, the beginning of another month TTC! Trying not to let myself feel too down about it all, I'm sure it'll hit a lot point tomorrow tho. Still hope for a Christmas conception but I think the chances are still slim.

Fingers crossed for all of you in the ttw🤞🏼

rj995 · 21/11/2018 03:29

*quiet

KatBeCool · 21/11/2018 06:03

@EssJayyCee good luck at your appointment!

@FlapJackered are your cycles longer than 35 days? I read a bit about soy isoflavones and it says it can screw up normal length cycles (under 35 days) even if they are irregular, and especially if they are. Honestly, I avoid soy in any form like plague mainly due to its role in messing up hormones. Without Dr's advise, I wouldn't touch it. I'm sure it helped some people but I'd be cautious to just try it.

@Delilah7 hope your hcg levels are increasing, I'm sure they are!
