Mumsnet doesn't count 😉 @PineappleC

ChikiTIKI · 15/02/2019 12:53

Aw that sucks @PineappleC I would be annoyed and so stressed!

I think most people are assuming we are TTC though since I recently had a MC. A couple have asked if we will try again soon but I've just said "I don't know" because I don't want them to know that we are! Xxxx

BLS1983 · 15/02/2019 13:16

@Carastarchild any news? :-) xx

Carastarchild · 15/02/2019 13:39

@BLS a massive massive congratulations 🎉🎉🎉💜🎉🎉🎉

My brother was rushed to surgery for appendicitis. I went to the hospital last night to relieve my mom. We weren't back until late and I was exhausted. He's doing much better now. I am on lunch now... trying to catch up with all that happened...the page moved pretty fast the last two days 😊

Pineapple he's probably super excited! I would just have a 💜 to 💜 with him and tell him how it's making you feel.

@Chikitiki, @Londondez, @BLS, @38and, and @Pineapple Thank you all so much for your kind words and encouragement. See my chart from this morning. It dropped a little, but I woke up feeling incredibly warm. My DH said I was really hot, so I don't know how that can happen. If it stays up or goes higher I will test in the morning. I am just scared 😬 😬 Thank you ❤️❤️💕❤️❤️

Sorry your brother is unwell @Carastarchild I will certainly pray for him.

Wow look at that chart!! I am getting more excited for you now. Just really hoping this is your month! I will be checking for your updates :)

It's amazing weather here today. Took the day off to be with family and have been sitting outside this afternoon after an action packed morning. Toddler finally taking a nap :) Aah! A perfect day xxxx

Carastarchild · 15/02/2019 18:11

@chikitiki that sounds divine 😎 I am not long home! Yay! It's finally Friday 😊 The only thing I have noticed different this month is I am very gassy today, going to the loo more often and my nipples feel sore. I honestly felt scared this morning to take it... I have had so many disappointments that I really am not trying to get my hopes high. The higher they go the longer the fall if it is not good news.

Any update with your cycle?

PineappleC · 15/02/2019 19:09

Thanks all 😁 Yeah he is just really excited bless him, which is lovely! I guess I thought we'd agreed when we discussed in Oct, and its just been really difficult for me to keep it quiet. We've spoken today about it and he's apologised. Hes not feeling any pressure, so didnt think it was a big deal, whereas I can't help worrying a bit. Also, now that we're married we've started to get the full force of all the ttc questions from "well-meaning" friends and family - ppl are so nosey!! 😂

@Chiki gosh yes of course, that's even harder! Xxx

PineappleC · 15/02/2019 19:10

@cara that looks and sounds really promising! 🤞🤞🤞

Carastarchild · 15/02/2019 19:15

Pineapple I am married 5 years and people assume I don't want more kids....I have had people bluntly say it as much to me! A guy I know said to me..." When you got married 5 yrs ago, I thought you would have a good few children...where are they? why haven't you!?" Tres sensitive of him...not.

ChikiTIKI · 15/02/2019 19:37

@PineappleC it's tough when sometimes when everyone is so excited for what may be but you're feeling worried yourself. Glad you had that chat I hope you're feeling better about it all now.

@Carastarchild not much to report here apart from I have noticed my cervix is very closed today. I am pleased about this since my last "cycle" (or whatever that was", my cervix was so open the whole time.., was weird. Think I am on CD10 today.

Carastarchild · 16/02/2019 06:40

@Carastarchild oh no I'm sorry to see your temp has gone down.

I don't really know about temping but it's not gone down by much... Does it need to be going up now though?

Do you have any AF symptoms? Xxxx

OP posts:
Carastarchild · 16/02/2019 07:49

It is normal for it to stop dropping before AF. I take cyclogest, so it's hard to determine what cramps are what. I just know now that it's not a good sign. If I was pregnant it would rise not go down. I feel annoyed with my DH as he is oblivious to the upset I felt when I saw it went down... he's happy out drinking coffee, and checking his emails....😒 😔😑

Good morning everyone.

@carastarchild I’m so sorry to hear that this month seems to have taken a less positive turn. When is af due? I’m crossing my fingers for a sudden peak for you. I hope your brother is recovering too.

Thank you everyone for your nice words. I woke up this morning and started to feel like my period was coming, so I’m feeling pretty sad. My dh just brought me a decaf coffee in bed though, so that’s cheered me a little.

@BLS I’m delighted for you! Did you say you’ve been ttc for 14 months now? You thoroughly deserve some joy! Really wonderful news Smile

@pineapplec I second everyone else, talk to your dh, I’m sure he means no harm but it’s a sensitive subject isn’t it and you have right to keep it quiet. I’ve been pretty open about ttc with my friends, however recently everyone’s started telling me ‘to relax’ which makes me want to punch them! I know babies are conceived in all types of circumstances and I hate the implication that I’m doing something wrong... I know they mean well, but still.

We’ve had an offer on a house accepted but think we’re going to pull out as I’m worried it’s too small for a growing family. It seems so silly planning for a second baby that isn’t here, but I’m keeping hopeful.

Thanks so much for the nice welcome back. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

ChikiTIKI · 16/02/2019 08:51

Oh no :( I'm sorry @Carastarchild. I am still hoping its your month but obviously you know your body better than anyone and so I am sad for you too xxxx

Carastarchild · 16/02/2019 12:25

I am just upset because I saw this on Avaworld and really thought that this was it when I saw the dip at 10dpo, as I ovulated between the Sunday night and Monday morning 9/10 days prior.

@Carastarchild should the temp dip only be for one day then? I'm sorry it's gone this way. I hope you still get your BFP this month somehow.

I'm having lots of cramps in my left side low down in the same specific place all day. Cervix firmly closed though and no ewcm. Pretty much no cm at all. Felt a bit sick today too. Feel like I have some ovulation symptoms but not the main important ones...

Carastarchild · 16/02/2019 20:39

I found this on the Kindarra home page "A dip in temperature during the luteal phase can be caused by the surge of estrogen that happens around mid-way through the luteal phase, whether or not you get pregnant. This luteal phase dip can happen in a chart regardless of whether or not you are trying to, or do, get pregnant.
And you can be pregnant without ever seeing a luteal phase dip on your chart."

@chikitiki I get the beginning of ovulation pain or rumblings for a few days before I actually ovulate... sounds like this is happening to you too 😊
