@ChikiTIKI Hi I'm good thank you. Yes had a lovely Christmas thanks. I hope you had a good one. Yes all is going well thank you. 18 weeks now. How are you feeling? xx

ChikiTIKI · 05/01/2019 19:54

@MamaDane I really hope it works for you this time. I can understand why you don't want to get too optimistic. It's hard to stay positive month after month. Got my fingers crossed for you xxxxx

And yes hoping to get pregnant again soon :)

ChikiTIKI · 05/01/2019 19:56

@GlamourBear that's exciting! You're pretty much half way there :) have you stopped feeling sick now?

I am ok thanks feeling a lot better after my miscarriage now ready to try again and feeling hopeful xxxx

MamaDane · 06/01/2019 09:47

@Chiki thanks 🙏 yeah but at least the doctor has referred us to IVF treatment. But that'll take months before we get an actual appointment.
I hope you get lucky soon 🍀Flowers

LondonKez · 06/01/2019 16:30

All the best for tomorrow @MamaDane. I have my fingers crossed for you x

@glamourbear 18 weeks already! That's gone so quickly! How are you feeling? x

I have a good feeling about your next cycle @Chikitiki, I really hope I'm right x

LondonKez · 06/01/2019 16:31

Hope you've had a great holiday @38notcounting x

How are you feeling @flossytots? x

GlamourBear · 06/01/2019 16:52

@ChikiTIKI so sorry you went through that. Sending lots of positive thoughts and hugs your way!

@LondonKez feeling ok thank you. Second trimester so the best of all three from what I remember! It's much more tiring having a toddler around though. How are you?

ChikiTIKI · 06/01/2019 19:34

Thanks @GlamourBear :) wishing you the best for second trimester and beyond xxxx

Peaky1 · 06/01/2019 21:07

Lovely to read all of the posts coming through. I'm a professional lurker 😆.

I just got a flashing smiley on CD7, period literally finished today! I suspected that I ovulated early (if at all) last month as I started testing from day 10 and got negs all the way 🙄. Here's to a static smiley arriving in the next few days 🤞🤞

ChikiTIKI · 07/01/2019 16:46

Thats exciting @Peaky1 !

I am in my first month using OPKs and since I had a miscarriage on 10th December and no period yet I have no clue when I will ovulate. Had a negative pregnancy test finally on I think 4th December? On Saturday just gone I had a totally negative OPK, just control line and no test line. Last night I did an OPK and the test line was there quite strong but not quite as dark as the control line. Going to do another one tonight. Think I am about to ovulate though. Boobs sore since yesterday and been feeling slightly sick and needing to eat a little more often yesterday and today :)

Good luck for this month! Xxxx

Flossytots · 07/01/2019 16:56

@Chiki I’m glad to hear that you are now feeling better and optimistic about trying again. Sending baby dust your way✨✨✨
@glamour how have you been hun, 18weeks you are flying!
@38 where did you go on your holiday? Hope you had a great time 😊
@london I’ve been doing well hun, thank you for asking. I’m now 7 weeks and still expereincing cramping but apparently it’s the uterus growing🤕 still no sign of sickness (touch wood 🤞). I had serious bloating from 5weeks, I looked 5months pregnant but drinking loads of water is helping.
Enough about me, how are you? How are you enjoying the new year and did you think more about trying the SMEP?

If I have missed anyone else, I hope you are all doing well 🌸✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨🌸

ChikiTIKI · 07/01/2019 17:35

Thanks @Flossytots good to hear from you glad you're doing well. Hope the cramps ease off soon. I had them on and off for the first few months with my little girl. Lots of stretching pains etc. Xxxx

ChikiTIKI · 07/01/2019 18:16

Just taken another OPK...

Saturday it was totally negative, just blank. Control line only.
Sunday it was a dark line (not as dark as test line though)
Today it was very faint.

What does this mean?! Have I ovulated? Had sore boobs yesterday and today, ewcm, nausea etc. DTD last night so that's good I suppose. Wasn't expecting to ovulate so soon after a negative?! Feeling confused!! Xxxx

MamaDane · 07/01/2019 23:26

It could be that you ovulated. But you won't know for sure unless you have a scan I think. Or get a bfp (or period) in 2 weeks time.

@London thanks. It went really well today. Uterine lining was 9.6 mm so nice and thick, I had ovulated in the morning and the sperm count was 70 million. So, feeling slightly optimistic. 🍀🙏🏻

GlamourBear · 08/01/2019 04:19

Hey @Flossytots I'm good thanks. Glad to hear you are well. This pregnancy does seem to be going much quicker than my first, probably the toddler keeping me occupied!

ChikiTIKI · 08/01/2019 06:32

That's great news @MamaDane hope this is your month xxxx

LondonKez · 08/01/2019 19:07

Brilliant news @MamaDane! That sounds exciting and very positive. I have everything crossed for you!

@chikitiki it sounds like your peak surge was Sunday. Ovulation is normally the day after, so it sounds like you managed to dtd in time!

@flossytots I've been doing a very lose version of SMEP, but without OPKs, just temping, which wasn't very helpful last month as I ovulated earlier than usual. We normally dtd every other day through my whole cycle, but the actual fertile window ended up being when we were both out a lot and only managed once 3 days before O and the day after, so timing was clearly off.
Fab to hear your little bean is getting comfortable in there!

@glamourbear I'm good thanks. Trying to keep myself distracted - planning a holiday, visiting wedding venues and back in the gym so that I have lots to keep my mind occupied.

I think that happened to me last cycle too @Peaky1!

ChikiTIKI · 08/01/2019 21:11

Thanks @LondonKez hopefully it was in time. Will dtd tonight as well.
Worried we haven't dtd on the right days this month. I haven't written it down or recorded it as didn't want to obsess over it this month. We dtd every second day I think but might have had an extra day off on the assumption that the negative pregnancy test could be considered start of the cycle.

MamaDane · 08/01/2019 21:52

Thanks guys Grin

@Chiki even three days should be safe. Sperm can live inside of a woman for up to five days. If you did ovulate when you suspect you did, you didn't miss it! Hope the swimmers have managed to find their way 😉

ChikiTIKI · 09/01/2019 06:47

Think AF has just arrived this morning.... Very confusing.....

Flossytots · 09/01/2019 10:31

Great to hear from you ladies, keeping my fingers crossed and sending lots of baby dust ✨✨✨✨✨✨

@chiki oh that’s really confusing for sure hun, is it anything like your normal flow?

@londonkez keeping fit is a great idea too and might help increase your chances. In terms of smep you might still be in the running 🤞🤞and as @mamadane said, sperm can live up to 5 days covering the 3days gap.

@mamdane that’s great news indeed!!!

LondonKez · 09/01/2019 17:35

That is confusing @Chikitiki. It may take a bit of time for your body to return to it's normal rhythm. Is it spotting or full af?

LondonKez · 09/01/2019 17:39

@flossytots I'm still only CD 9 and don't think I've ovulated yet this cycle. I ovulated CD11 last cycle, but my average is CD16, so we'll hopefully be covered this time!

MamaDane · 09/01/2019 18:22

@Chiki at least if it's AF then you know all of the previous pregnancy material is out of your body and it is ready for another one. But it could also be implantation bleeding? How are you doing?

ChikiTIKI · 09/01/2019 19:14

The bleeding is lighter in colour and in quantity than normal AF. Started out as lots of EWCM with bits of blood in but then increased. The cramps are absolutely back-breaking though! Hurts so bad!! Not the same consistency as normal AF but will see what tomorrow brings. Hope I will be able to sleep tonight through this pain...!
