Had a bfn this morning which is good news. Pregnancy hormones hopefully all gone now. Think I may have or be about to ovulate based on EWCM the last few days. Going to take another test in 2 weeks time, if AF hasn't arrived. Probably going to DTD every couple of days until then since I have no idea when I might ovulate after a miscarriage.

Still having the weird vivid dreams....

I've just looked again and it appears to be a very faint positive.... Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me. I have no idea now what this means but will have to assume it's leftover pregnancy hormones from the miscarriage. Will take another test in a week to see any difference.

Can anyone else see the line? Do you agree with me?

@Flossytots I don't know...! I know you shouldn't look at them hours later but just got home and it looks even more positive now. It's not totally impossible to be pregnant again but I think quite unlikely. Will just have to do another test in a week and see if it's changed I suppose.... If loads darker I will guess then I am pregnant.... If still very faint then I might need to go back to the GP or hospital to see what to do next and check if the miscarriage is finished, maybe I will need a blood test?

Chiki I would presume it's just hcg remaining in your body...test again in a few days as it should be decreasing. My AF is finally gone... thankfully, as I am CD 6 today. It's tough not having a little one at this time of the year.

@Carastarchild I think you're right. Good to hear your AF has finished. Hope this month is your month xxxx

I am doing ok thanks @Carastarchild. Had some lovely time with family over Christmas and loved seeing my little girl every day. I have been very sad at times but getting along ok now. I don't regret getting pregnant even though it didn't work out. After everything that happened with my first birth it was good to feel optimistic about a new life, even though the pregnancy ended.

Been feeling quite sick today but I have a really really awful cold so I know it's 100% down to that without a doubt.

How are you feeling @Carastarchild ? I know you were dreaming of a Christmas BFP. I hope you're alright and taking some time to take care of yourself. I'm praying for your 2019 baby. I've got a feeling it will be good news soon xxxxx

And I'm out...😔 2 pregnancies and 2 Christmas births announced within the first hour on my first day back at work. Went to the toilet and found AF had started a day early. Excellent.

DP is quite disheartened by it all now. We've decided to count from when we started temping/using OPKs which would have made this the end of cycle 5 rather than cycle 13. Not entirely sure about this strategy, but it gives him more hope, so I'm going to go with it for now...

Thanks @carastarchild and @Chikitiki. Getting a little bit fed up now. I normally have a light flow for 3 days and spotting for the 4th with cramping that's uncomfortable. This shows no signs of stopping tomorrow and I've been doubled over in pain on and off all day. Mother nature really knows how to kick you when you're down 😂😂😂

Enough of my pity party, how is everyone? It's been very quiet here recently x

I stopped using my iPad for a while over Christmas which was nice. I did miss checking in on everyone here though! Tired now I'm back at work but enjoying just relaxing in the evenings :)

Thinking I will do another test on Friday. Wondering if there is any point DTD if getting a faint positive still. I think probably not!

@Chiki glad you got to spend some quality time with family over Christmas.

Have had a lovely week away. Just waiting for my high to come on cbfm but have managed not to think about it too much this week. Fortunately (!) work has been stressful enough (even though I'm on holiday) to take my mind off it! Silver linings...

Off to a restaurant on a farm tomorrow which is only a ten minute walk from where we're staying so looking forward to some good food and cocktails! Have a good weekend all xxx

I caved and took a test this morning. It's a BFN clear as day...

I will admit I had a tiny hope it was a new pregnancy even though it was very unlikely.

At least it should be possible for me to get pregnant now.

Insemination on Monday. Got three follicles at 14, 15, and 16. So hopefully they will grow big by then.
Hopefully the 6th IUI is our lucky one. 🍀🤞🏻

I ordered some ovulation sticks today and I am quite excited about it :)

@Chiki honestly I don't have high hopes. Last insemination I also had three follicles, one large and two small and I was inseminated with 100 million MOT sperm, which is like the best quality. Yet nothing happened.

Are you ready to try again now since you're getting ovulation sticks?
