@flossytots glad you're doing well. Had a lovely holiday near Worcester in the middle of nowhere.

@mama fingers crossed for you - sounds positive.

@chiki sounds really confusing. I hope you get back to normal soon

@londonkez hope you've got it covered this month and it's lucky for you

I'm on cd15 and high on my cbfm so ov is late this month. We're trying to cover every other day until peak and then both peak days so will have to see what happens

Babydust to all ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ xxx

ChikiTIKI · 09/01/2019 19:16

I agree @MamaDane I am taking whatever's happening as a good sign. Painful but good.

Carastarchild · 10/01/2019 19:43

Hiya Ladies 😊

I have been super busy. My husband ended up with the flu for a few days and between work and housework I didn't have much time to spare. We dtd every two days until he became ill. We then dtd four days after the last time, and I ended up getting a positive OPK that morning. We dtd again the day after and the rest is now up to a higher force and our of our hands... I am officially in the TWW... 2 dpo. The batteries went in my clear blue monitor and I lost all my data 😖😖😖

Chiki sometimes you can get a bit of a LH surge just before AF. I hope the pain has lessened. Your body seems to be working really well after all that you endured. It definitely seems to be regulating itself it that's any consolation.

ChikiTIKI · 10/01/2019 20:06

Hi @Carastarchild your update sounds very promising! Sounds like you DTD at the right times. Fingers crossed for a fast TWW followed by BFP for you :) hope your husband feels better.

I haven't had cramps today which I am thankful for but definitely bleeding A LOT. Used 3 tampons between 7.30am and noon. I've lost count after that. I usually have light periods so it's a bit weird for me but normal for first period after MC to be very heavy.

Looking forward to a fresh start :)

Carastarchild · 10/01/2019 20:22

Thanks Chiki I was havinga bit of that panicking feeling yesterday, as I was thinking we didn't dtd enough. I hope Af doesn't last too long for you. I guess that the first AF is very painful in Soo many ways. Take care of yourself and yes, this is a new beginning for you ✨💜✨

Thanks @Carastarchild

I'm sorry you lost your data too. That's annoying. Hoping you will be pregnant now and won't need any data! :) xxxx

Another pic :-/. Probably just being a little too hopeful xx

Carastarchild · 10/01/2019 22:03

38 your trip reminds me of the famous five adventures in a way 😊 I am not sure if it was just the picturesque description, but it honestly triggered a memory of a scene from one of the books ✨😊✨ Fx you get a peak tomorrow x

Chiki thank you so much! ✨ I have one first response left and I am going to try to hold out until 12dpo 👐🙌👐 I was just thinking perhaps you should get your iron levels tested. I know iron can't be taken in early pregnancy, so it would be wise to see if there is an issue after the blood loss.

Carastarchild · 10/01/2019 22:06

BLS the same thing happened to me two cycles ago and I was so hopeful it meant something. In my case it didn't, but I really hope that you have greater success. The monitor pregnancy sticks are not at all sensitive. I would definitely test again with a more sensitive test. Best of luck ✨✨✨

BLS1983 · 10/01/2019 23:40

Omg I'm losing it that second pic isn't mine lol 😂

BLS1983 · 10/01/2019 23:42

@Carastarchild ahh I'm sorry you had your hopes up. Thanks for confirming the monitor sticks are useless. I think that's confirmed that's not anything to be excited about :-). Hope you get your bfp this month. It's my first month on the monitor and had 10 days of highs so far but I've heard that is normal x

LondonKez · 11/01/2019 19:57

@carastarchild it sounds like you've got it covered. Keeping everything crossed for you lovely x

@chikitiki I hope the pain has eased off and you can go into this cycle positively x

@38notcounting thank you! I'm feeling positive this month. Think I'm due to ovulate over the next few days too, getting pre O cramps, so think it's another early one for me again this month. Have you had your peak yet?

ChikiTIKI · 11/01/2019 20:34

@BLS1983 I see something there. Hoping it's going to be a strong BFP for you soon.

@Carastarchild good point about the iron. I had full bloods done right before the miscarriage happened on its own as we were planning to do medical management. At that point my iron levels were bottom of normal range. I had low iron around 30 weeks of pregnancy with my little girl and I felt awful. So tired I would just cry. Had to have 6x B12 injections and iron tablets for ages after the birth (lost over a litre of blood).

After 2 very heavy days the bleeding is easing off now. Think I will ask for a blood test next week though :) don't want to go in to a pregnancy with iron levels already too low!

38notcounting · 11/01/2019 21:30

@Carastarchild that's bad timing for your DH to get ill. I'm coming down with a cold but got my peak yesterday. I'm not really expecting any sympathy from DH as he's had a cold for ages and it's my first of the winter.

Pants about your data too. Let's hope you don't need it (or have to buy any more of those expensive strips)!

It was a bit Enid Blyton at the cottage, although without smugglers!

@London glad you're feeling positive and hope you manage to get lots of BD in this weekend 😉

Xxx

Carastarchild · 12/01/2019 19:07

I am approximately 4 dpo, feeling uterine cramps on and off all day. My lower back is aching as well. It's way too early to say it's something positive but has anyone else felt this at 4dpo? Also I am feeling tired and cranky...not like me...I hope I'm not getting sick 😲

Reading back soon as I get to sit down..
Working full time is hard when you spend all Saturday doing housework 😧

OP posts:
ChikiTIKI · 12/01/2019 20:31

@Carastarchild I don't know about those symptoms but surely something unusual must be a good sign! Definitely extreme tiredness is a good sign early on.

I threw up this morning but it's just because I have a cold. Bought a load more tampons and pads this morning but the bleeding has suddenly tailed off now and nearly gone. (TMI alert).... Just having some blood clots now so probably best not to use tampons anyway. Hopefully I won't need them for about a year! Feeling optimistic about this month.

Trying to keep my mind off that I would have had my 12 week scan by now :( I never figured out exactly when my due date would have been so I am glad I don't know that to be honest!! Xxxx

Carastarchild · 12/01/2019 20:45

Chikitiki this must be an incredibly difficult time for you. Sending you a massive virtual hug ✨💜✨ check this out this fertility homeopath on YouTube. I watched some of her videos while sorting clothes today. www.youtube.com/user/ingefleurspreij

BLS how are you feeling? Have you tested again?

Londonkez fx this is your cycle! I ovulated from my left ovary this month which only happens about once a year! Have a wonderful baby dancing weekend ✨✨✨

OP posts:
ChikiTIKI · 12/01/2019 21:21

@Carastarchild thanks for the link, I will have a look :)

That's cool you can tell which side you ovulated from. Fingers crossed its your lucky side for this month! Xxxx

Carastarchild · 12/01/2019 22:27

Chikitiki ovulation from my left ovary is always more noticeable. I had pain on my left side and bloating, as well as a sluggish bowel on Tuesday. All typical signs of ovulation for me. Let me know what you think about Inge. I found her incredibly informative.

Heading to bed. The weekend went super fast 😧 I will be 6dpo tomorrow! 6 more days until I test 🤞🤞🤞

Good luck to anyone else testing for ovulation or pregnancy over the next few days ✨✨✨✨✨

Hey ladies,

I have a weird one. I'm currently in my FW and after sex last night, I had blood in my cm (it was pink). All day today I've had red blood when wiping. We didn't have rough sex and in my 2 years off hormonal contraception and 1 year ttc I've never had ovulation bleeding, so that also seems unlikely to be the cause. I'm freaking out a bit because it's bright red rather than pink or brown. Has anyone had this before? Xx
