Thread two for TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

@LauraPalmer sorry that you're feeling low. I have weird spotting which lasts around a week before AF and have had it for as long as I can remember but haven't really thought about it before, so am having the same worries. I think I'm going to book a consultation at a private clinic if nothing happens in the next couple of months as I can't wait for the NHS (my gp told me I'd have to wait a year for tests which would mean I was 39). It might be worth you speaking to your gp to see if they're any more helpful.

I've got the cbfm and it is very easy to use so I'd recommend trying a couple of cycles on that. You don't need to use as many test sticks as they say - you can stop testing when you get the first peak day. Hopefully it'll just be a case of timing bd better and you'll soon have your BFP. You definitely have time on your side so try not to worry too much (easier said than done I know).

Don't know if that's any help at all. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that your BFP arrives soon but in the meantime, hope you are able to enjoy Christmas with your dd - hopefully she'll be starting to understand it a bit more and will be all excited on the big day. Take care of yourself xxx

@LauraPalmer I also have spotting a few days before each period since coming off the pill so I guess it's not too uncommon! Like you, I'm a little worried about a short luteal phase, but I think from what some ppl have said on here, if the issue is coz of low progesterone, that can be seen too at GP. I am going to give it a couple more cycles (currently month 3) and if no luck I'm going to GP!

I'm also feeling a bit low, it's cd22 and although no AF, my usual pre-AF spotting is here which almost definitely means I'm out this month. So will have to go on the pill now for the next month so I'm not on AF on my wedding day 😥 Seems so frustrating that you can DTD throughout the whole month for three whole months and still not get a BFP. In my head I know that's pretty normal but it's still hard!

Don't think our 5th IUI is the lucky one. Still bfns and feels like AF is coming.
Was hoping for a Christmas miracle.
I suppose we have to consider IVF now.

I have a luteal phase defect and I was prescribed 200mg of cyclogest. It stops pre menstrual bleeding but it doesn't stop my period from coming if it is meant to. Definitely get checked as anything less than 10 days past ovulation disrupts implantation.

Mama hang in there! It would depend on when implantation occurs.

I am 12 dpo and terrified to test....I have had cramps today, so I don't think that's a good sign...not one bit of spotting on the cyclogest, like I had last month though, so who knows...I am between two minds whether to test tomorrow morning or not...get a BFN and feel sad....Get a BFP and feel on top of the world...don't test and I will be in limbo land....I hope 2019 is kinder to us all x

Hi Ladies!

I tested yesterday and it was negative. Decided not to get upset and enjoy my day the best I could. DH and I held each other though after my test said not pregnant. I took my last cyclogest last night, and I had a tiny bit of red blood this morning, so luckily I saw it before I wasted a test.

Hopefully I will have a baby next Christmas. My DS is a teenager, so I would love him to have a brother or sister as soon as possible. Hopefully we all will. That's my wish for us all 🌟✨🌟✨

How is everyone doing? I am CD 2 and I have lots of cramps 😰. I am focusing on losing weight at the moment. I reached my one stone weight loss goal I set myself for Christmas! I have one more stone to lose, as I ended up gaining two stone I'm the last two years due to thyroid issues. I am hoping to be down another stone for the end of February.

Congratulations on losing so much especially at this time of year. @carastarchild. If you've lost a stone pre-Christmas, I've no doubt you'll get to your target by February! Have you been following a particular plan? My mum had her thyroid removed a few years ago and gained a bit of weight in recovery which has really impacted her confidence. Any recommendations I could pass on? Xx

I'm now 8dpo and getting lots of cramps. My LP is 12 days, so it's normal for me to start getting cramps around now. Trying to stay optimistic though! 🤞🏼🌟💖 Xx

New year and time for a fresh start. Is anyone doing anything nice to celebrate the new year?

I'm going to take a pregnancy test tomorrow and am hoping for a BFN as that will mean the pregnancy hormones will have gone and I will be able to ovulate again. Not sure if it's too soon, still having a lot of weird vivid dreams which I get when pregnant. But may as well check. I asked my husband to buy two tests, he bought two packs of two by mistake. This won't help my self control when I'm on the TWW!!

I'm 10dpo. BFP/AF due on 3rd. Been having all kinds of strange sensations over the last few days. Trying to stay neutral and not get too optimistic or too downbeat at the same time. I normally have spotting after dtd around now, but not had anything. Equally, I have my normal pre-af cramps, so kind of on the fence this month.
