Thread two for TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

Londonkez thank you lovely x I just went to the loo and I had some pink spotting again. I feel dizzy, and yucky! If I start on tomorrow then my next BFP due date will be the 25th of December [santa] That would be great if I get a BFP, but upsetting if I don't.

@Carastarchild I really hope you get your positivethis cycle. And if you don't, at least you will have a lovely day to distract you regardless of your result on 25th December xx

I’ve been away on holiday and feeling refreshed, back on the saddle and trying SMEP this cycle. BFP due on the 18th of Dec, hoping for a Christmas pres t 😊

Also thinking of trying out the clear blue fertility kit, anyone had any success using it? All tips welcome 😊✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

@Flossytots I'm using the CB advanced fertility monitor. It's really easy and takes the guesswork out of fw so you can focus your efforts but the sticks are pricey. It hasn't worked yet but I'm only on the second cycle. Hope that's some help

38andcounting are you using the advanced fertility monitor? That's what I'm using as well. Did you ever get a faint blue line? See attached picture.

Oh I’m so sorry @carastarchild, AF came early for me so I’m definitely out of the running. I’ve been pretty sad the last few days, despite only being a few cycles in I just thought it might have happened by now.

I just checked my app and AF is next due on Christmas Day too - my shifting dates have turned us into cycle buddies! I’m hoping that I’ll have a BFP by then but if not then I’m turning into license to get drunk!

Hold tight, we’ll get there. And in the meantime be very kind to yourself. xxx

Sorry to hear of the disappointments all round 😥

I think I am going to join you in that, as I think my AF is about to come 6 days early (cd22) wtf!! Little bit of spotting and cramping absolutely identical to last month. Hope it will at least hold off a few days as if my cycle really is now this short it might be difficult!

No sign of AF this morning, so I took a clearblue digital test. Not pregnant, but at least niw I can let go of last cycle. My tea break is over so I will catch up with everyone layer x

So my AF arrived this afternoon, and I am on to cycle 5 now. I wouldn't mind if I was 27, but at 37 the clock ticking does ring in ones ears from time to time.

Pineapple how long was your luteal phase this month? It sounds familiar as I have a luteal phase issue. I used to start spotting at 9dpo, and then have a light bleed which would continue until 14 dpo when AF would arrive.Then I would get AF for 4-6 days. That's why I am taking the cyclogest from 4dpo to 14dpo.

Laura I know exactly how you feel. It really does suck. I am glad to have you as a cycle buddy and I wish that you get your Christmas BFP. Here is to lots of September babies!

@carastarchild I am using the advanced fertility monitor but didn't even get a whiff of a blue line. I know what you mean about the clock. I'v never been that bothered about kids but now it's like the alarm's gone off and I can't think about anything else. I just hope it's not too late, although I know I shouldn't really be worrying after one cycle.

I have spotting about 5 days before AF as well. I think I will get myself checked out privately (as Nhs make you wait a year where I live) if nothing happens in 4 or 5 months.

@laurapalmersbodybag sorry AF got you. At least we've got plenty of cycle buddies and there will hopefully be some good news for Xmas. I've read Expecting Better cover to cover (thanks for the recommendation - it's a really interesting read) and it made me feel a bit better about my age and more prepared when my BFP happens.

I've been off for a while because AF got me on Monday. I had known she was coming but still a blow.
Sorry to hear we are all in the same AF boat. Was hoping I'd log back on and see some BFP! Here's to hoping for the best Christmas present ever.
My BFP is now due 27th December!!
We have decided to really give it a go this month - not that we haven't before - but gonna try and DTD every day around ovulation. But I've read contradictory things where some say you shouldn't do it every day and some say do? Anyone else read something similar?

38andcounting my friend has had two children in the last few years, one when she was 39 and another when she was 42. I know in my heart we will get pregnant soon!

Hi ladies thank you all for the info, think I will invest in a monitor after Xmas. It’s a bit late to start now as I believe I’m ovulating already. The ovia app states my ovulation day is Wednesday the 5th but flo states I’m “o” On the 4th but I have been having cramps for the last 2/3days. Anyone experience cramps before ovulation? They feel like AF, haven’t experienced this before. However we have been dtd every other day since cycle day 8 (SMEP) so hope we catch the bean 🤞✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

@carastar @38andcounting I might also look into us getting checked out privately too, is it really expensive though? With the way I’ve completely obsessed over this ttc, I don’t think I can wait for 7months to get referred. 🙈😬

Thanks @Cara and @38 🤗 Well AF arrived today for me giving me a 23 day cycle this month - that's shit isn't it? Makes me feel like it might be difficult to get preg with such a short cycle 😥

The spotting has come 2 days before AF both times and is literally a drop per day, but the short cycle makes me think I might be low on progesterone anyway. What's confusing is that I was pretty sure I ov'd on cd13 last month giving me a luteal phase of 14 days, but this month I didn't really feel ov apart from nipple pain around cd12, but I didn't think luteal phases changed. Maybe this one was anovulatory!

Anyway, sorry for the depressing post, on to cycle 3!! I may also look at getting a private check up if no luck in a few months. Hope everyone is okay today 😊 xxx

Sorry to hear that @PineappleC, that must be really frustrating. How heavy is AF? Is it a full flow or just spotting?

Lovely to hear from you @flossytots, how was your holiday? I always get cramps before ovulation. Never noticed until ttc, but I get it for 2 days before O every cycle.

Sorry to hear AF got so many of you this week. Stay strong and know your time will come soon.

I thought I was 6dpo today, but Natural Cycles has put my O at 2 days later than I thought which is super frustrating as it means we didn't DTD on my peak day. We did 5 days in a row, 1 day off which happened to be my peak and the day of O and the day after. As I'm not doing OPKs anymore we're just DTD when we feel like it which I guess is a healthier way to look at sex, but just unfortunate timing when looking back at the data! Oh well.
