My AF arrived yesterday so I'm off the September bus already Sad

Cycle #2
Trying for baby #2
Age 33

This month I am going to track my cycle using ovulation strips. DTD lots last month so I'm gutted but onwards and upwards!

Can I jump on too please,

AF left yesterday after arriving 16 days early ( not sure why) so cycles are messed up this month.
Been with my partner nearly 5 years and never used contraception however began actively TTC January this year, slight worries I can’t fall pregnant due to it never happening before and partner has a son from a previous relationship.
So currently on CD6 I work away so sometime make is difficult to DTD around ovulation but my rota falls nice this month and I’m off for 5 days around ovulation due date. Fingers crossed.

Hi I'm sure all welcome to join. Have u posted under 2 different names?

Fingers crossed for you ovulation falling on your off days. I managed to dtd today as husband works nights. Already had +opk and thought we missed that but had another +okp yesterday which has confused everything. So who knows this cycle Smile but we have had more attempts this month at the supposed correct time ....

When is everyone testing?

Chanel05 · 23/09/2018 19:15

Ovulated today I think but have only an 11 day lp. The wait begins!

AIDE2424 · 23/09/2018 19:21

Yes sorry for the confusion I changed my username and it posted again under my new name! I hope it does too! Just confused as to when I’ll ovulate because of having 2 AF this month. My next AF is apparently due on the 3rd of October so we shall see!

LoveTheBear85 · 23/09/2018 19:45

Hi all! Can I join in please? I am...

Age: 33
TTC: #1
Cycle: 1

We were half heartedly trying in January but then I needed to look after my mum while she recovered from surgery so that made TTC much more difficult. I also changed jobs, have had cycles all over the place (max of 50 days, shortest of 29) and I am hoping that my cycle is beginning to settle as my stress levels come down.

Anyway, DH has given the green light to start trying again. I'm currently on CD6 and temping/charting.

ProperPickle · 23/09/2018 20:33

Hi everyone!

Can I jump on too please?

Am 35, TTC # 2, on Cycle 2. This time I'm going to try using OPKs. Just need to feel I am doing something (other than DTD!!). AF due 20th October.

Good luck everyone, fingers crossed!!

ImpatientMammy · 23/09/2018 20:36

@Chanel05 we seem to be in sync again. I've forgone OPKs and temping but lots of EWCM today and Short leutal phase usually x

Chanel05 · 23/09/2018 22:27

@ImpatientMammy hello again! Hoping October will be lucky for us this time!! When are you due bfp/af?

ImpatientMammy · 23/09/2018 22:36

About the 5th. How about you? Hopefully we'll be luckier this month x

ImpatientMammy · 23/09/2018 22:39

@Soberfutures sex before a night shift is so forced and unromantic isn't it 🙈 we've had an hour window this week between getting my little one to sleep and needing to leave for work last shift tonight though. Fingers crossed for you x

veeboo · 24/09/2018 07:40

Another day, another flashing smiley! It would be great to hear from those of you with long cycles. I'm now cd22 and had 3 days of flashing smiley on clearblue advanced. Also done the odd ic too and no positive. How do you keep faith? I don't know whether to trust the test or think something has gone wrong this month?! My longest cycle is 33 but this would be much longer if I'm yet to ovulate.

sbhf1987 · 24/09/2018 09:42

Hi ladies I’m back. I’ve miscarried at 5+4 so hoping I’m in with a chance on the October bus instead. Feeling really sad as im on holiday away from my DH x

ImpatientMammy · 24/09/2018 09:50

@sbhf1987 I'm soo sorry for your loss look after yourself. When do you get back from your holiday? X

MuddyElephant · 24/09/2018 09:52

@sbhf1987 so sorry to hear of your loss. Hope you and dp are taking care of each other whilst you are away Flowers

loveshinealight · 24/09/2018 10:07

@veeboo - I don't really rate the ovulation tests. I eventually got a positive on a cheap one but who really knows. I know it's only anecdotal evidence but my friend used the clear blue and never had a static smiley. She has a one year old now!

@ImpatientMammy @MuddyElephant
@loveshinealight I am away with mum and her friends they’re all looking after me x

feverbee · 24/09/2018 11:44

@sbhf1987 I'm so sorry to hear that 💕

feverbee · 24/09/2018 11:46

@ImpatientMammy @Chanel05 I'm due around then too, here's hoping AF doesn't come 💕

veeboo · 24/09/2018 11:51

@sbhf1987 so sorry to hear that. Sending positive thoughts. Be kind to yourself.

@loveshinealight I know but we struggle to dtd enough so I hoped the tests would help with timing. With my cycles varying between 29 and now probably 36 days it gives us a really wide window and there is no way we could dtd every 2-3 days throughout the month.

Chanel05 · 24/09/2018 12:55

@ImpatientMammy yes I’m the 5th as well! We really are in sync 😂 hopefully it will be a lucky day!
@feverbee we’re all in it together!

@sbhf1987 sorry to hear that x

toomanyflatwhites · 24/09/2018 13:16

I've been watching from the wings since popping in to say hi a few weeks ago, hope everyone is doing ok whatever stage they are at! I have been crazy busy at work but keeping an eye on the bus!
I should be due to ov around Friday but DP goes away for work on Wednesday morning 🙄 Hoping we manage to stay awake long enough after the toddler DTD today and tomorrow to be in with a chance. I managed to completely confuse my FF app with my temperatures so it decided I had already ovulated on day 12 (am usually 18/19) but just got a flashing smiley today on a CB so I ended up excluding some temperatures to unconfuse it again...
Is it totally wrong to mess with the data?! Am sure I would realise if I had ovulated early! And am so stressed at the moment I am sure if anything I will end up delaying ovulation - in fact that would come in quite handy as then DP will be back!

toomanyflatwhites · 24/09/2018 13:19

@sbhf1987 so sorry to hear this - I miscarried at about the same stage when we were on holiday in August. I was with my DP but also staying with his family who didn't know what was going on, and negotiating the healthcare system in the country where I was staying made it all seem sadder and more complicated. Hugs to you Thanks

Dwellington · 24/09/2018 13:24

Just catching up. Think I’m now 5dpo although this month had no obvious O pain which I always get despite a positive digital OPK on time. And normally by now would have huge sore boobs post O yet they’re not remotely either! Worried I’ve been so full of cold this month and run down I didn’t actually ovulate after all. But this month have got day 21 bloods booked to start the fertility referral process so that will reveal whether I did or not.

Nell90x · 24/09/2018 19:34

So sorry for you loss X

... I'm really confused. So I got my first flashing smiley yesterday and today I got my first static smiley. I'm only on CD12. Is that too early?? I normally have (roughly) a 28 day cycle.
Does anyone else get their LH surge this early? I got a static smiley on day 16 last month and I know 4 days isn't a massive change, but it seems quite early to me...
