Too early for an October bus?

My AF arrived yesterday so I'm off the September bus already

Trying for baby #2
Age 33

This month I am going to track my cycle using ovulation strips. DTD lots last month so I'm gutted but onwards and upwards!

@KinCat fingers crossed the lines keep getting stronger. I'm getting excited for you!

@Wishful30 I hope it's not AF coming. Stay strong and positive. I nearly cracked and tested tonight then DH said just to wait until Sat morning as planned and he's right, so I'm going to. Must be strong and keep thinking positive thoughts.

@Newbie21 don't bail on my now!! We're both holding out to test on Saturday morning aren't we?! You can do it, just 1 more days. 4 days late over here now......... fingers crossed for us both @Newbie21 🤞

@summer28 I'm with you. I'm definitely waiting until Saturday. 18DPO today. Still no sign of AF. One more day of not knowing @summer28. Fingers crossed 🤞

Even with a month of no testing what so ever. No idea when or if I ovulated.
I suddenly realised my clear blue monitor has a couple of spare tests from last month.
Tho I can't use the monitor, I can use my eyes to prove I'm not pregnant,

Cd25 of 28.

The monitor would deffo say 'Not pregnant'
So either an evap line or chemical again I reckon. 🙄

No line on the test this morning so back on the bus for me!

What is that wishful? Is it a pregnancy test? There's definitely a faint line on there.

Am knackered again today as whereas yesterday my own insomnia woke me, last night it was DD, who was awake from 3-5am. Gahh!! Have got a job interview this afternoon and I'm going to be wrecked!! Haven't done any preparation at all either, good thing I'm being interviewed by my boss who basically wants to promote me... 🤞🏻

toomanyflatwhites yeah I'm not counting myself out just yet. Hardcore symptom spotting though which I've been great at not doing in the past. I can't tell if I feel sick because I actually feel sick or because I'm thinking about it so much!

Good luck with the interview! Being up 3-5am doesn't sound like a good start to the day.

@KinCat for me nausea can be completely psychological but it didn't really kick in until 6 weeks when I was pregnant with DD.
Yeah last night wasn't ideal, but going back to sleep between 5 and 7 makes it an improvement on the previous night when I was awake from 2.45!!

Oh yeah that's even worse. At least it's Friday!

oh KinCat I am sorry it looks like you are still going to be here! You dont think it was just dilated pee or a dodgy test? Also agree with toomanyflatwhites about sickness sometimes being so bloomin psychological

DH is on nights this weekend, the start of my fertile week....., bloody typical!

TwittleBee I'm not sure - I did have a cup of tea very late last night so maybe that made my morning pee more dilute? I'll keep trying until AF which I'm betting will make an appearance on my birthday!

Sucks about your DH being on nights. Is it just for the weekend?

Wishful can you go out and get another stick to pee on?

6dpo and for some unknown reason decided to poas this morning Obviously a bfn. Will re test Monday at 9dpo as period due weds at 11dpo. With my other two DD's I got bfps at 7/8 DPO

chocolate i'm in the TWW too. I'm 2/3 dpo today. Planning to test on Tuesday as I tested positive with a faint line at around 6dpo with my DD. I'm not hopeful this time round though we haven't been taking any vitamins or anything just randomly decided to give it a go last week and DTD a few times around ovulation. Looked back at my notes from when I conceived DD and I was taking double dose folic acid at this point which I think is what made it successful.

@Chocolate89 I’m 3 maybe 4dpo today depending on how quickly I ovulated after my LH surge. I am meant to be going out for drinks on Thurs so going to try a FRER at 9 or 10 dpo next Thurs morning but still won’t have more than one glass if it’s BFN x

First time with these but looks like I'm in business! 😂 anyone else at this point?

I find this stage soooo hard, I'm constantly looking at my calender hoping that somehow I have miscalculated and i can test earlier than I thought! 😂

@everycloud ah you are still in with a good shot! Fx this is a lucky month for you! From what i have heard i wouldnt rush to take a double dose of folic acid! My sister has epilepsy and when she got pregnant, she went to the pharmacy to get the higher dose (500ug instead of 400ug) as thats whats recommended as she has a higher rate of spina bifida. Anyway she couldn't get it without a prescription and the pharmacy wouldn't give it to her, and when she asked her obstetrician why (think she was really peeved off and giving out about the pharmacy 😂) he said they were dead right cause the higher dose comes with risks itself. I dunno what they are but maybe check with your gp first! Xxx

wow chocolate i didn't realise there were risks. When i had my first midwifery appt with DD she had doc prescribed it there and then and was a bit peeved that I hadn't been prescribed it earlier (high BMI of 29) she didn't mention risks so i'm a bit worried now off to have a bit of a google session on it all!
