My AF arrived yesterday so I'm off the September bus already

Age 33

This month I am going to track my cycle using ovulation strips. DTD lots last month so I'm gutted but onwards and upwards!

That's my next option if nothing happens before the end of the week. It's odd because the test yesturday someone on a different thread said they thought they could see something but could be an evap line. Just so confused by it all done 4 tests now 3 BFN and 1 not sure

@Peonie89 aww that would be such a nice Christmas surprise! It is easy to start getting excited!
I haven't had any symptoms yet, but last month I had sore breasts and I was feeling very nauseated by smells that normally wouldn't affect me! Sadly it was a bfn!

So AF due Sunday.
Last cycle my af was really light, I think due to the progesterone. So I can only hope that maybe I've started off with a thicker lining this month 🤔🤞🏻
Otherwise a natural cycle. Should have ovulated Sunday/Monday cd14/15. Dtd cd12 and cd14 in the evenings so 🤞🏻 it may have been close enough.
I am usually the same time every month so didn't test this time. Trying to chill out a bit.
Back on the progesterone this month and cramping now. Think it's just the meds.
Managed to bypass the pharmacy for a test so far.
Starting acupuncture tomorrow. Putting off the final IUI due to the fact I can't afford the scans and meds 😐

Anyone else testing this weekend?

Wishful30 I'm going to try and hold out to the middle of next week but pretty sure I'll cave and test this weekend (9dpo on Sunday).

My lining and cycle are still a bit off from the IUD plus our timing this month wasn't great so I'm not super optimistic but DH bought me a pack of 60 internet cheapies this cycle so I may as well use them!

@Wishful30 I was determined not to test until/unless AF didn't come by Saturday - but judging by my obsessiveness with looking at this board and my app/chart today I may well not last out 🙄 Fairly silly as I am sure I can feel AF on her way, but I'm fairly capable of doublethink when it comes to these things....sure I'm not pregnant, but secretly convinced that I am.
But after a chemical in August I really don't want to test early then be disappointed (mind you in August I didn't test early and only started bleeding 8 days after the BFP, so wouldn't have avoided that anyway)

I've had 5 chemicals now, hence the progesterone, and have accepted if I get a bfp before af it probably won't stick. But I like to keep track in my own mind that I can actually conceive, it's the straining a pregnancy I seem to struggle with.
Backwardly comforting so far there's nothing major wrong I guess

@Wishful30 oh FIVE, you poor love, I'm half mental just from one. Am also 40 now and panicked that I will be able to get pregnant but not stay pregnant (although I also had a chemical before DD and no problems after that). it's all such a headfark this TTC business isn't it? And so hard to stay sane as the months go by 😩
Really really hope you have the support you need and you don't have to wait much longer for your successful pregnancy

So I stayed away from the boards this month trying to stop myself from obsessing too much. AF was due yesterday, no show yet despite feeling heavy and crampy since Saturday. These cramps are not really typical for me, they’re more lower back, stabby pains and I’m also super bloated regardless of what I eat. Anyway, did a frer last night and one this morning and they were both immaculate bfn. Did another test right now. This is an evap, isn’t it? And my body is just playing tricks on me?

@IronCurtain Wahhhh, it's so hard to tell on the blue die tests!! Can't you nip out and get a pink die one? Got everything crossed for you

@ironcurtain yes def try to get a pink dye one! Blue dyes are terrible for evaps. But hopefully you will get a bfp! Everything crossed for you!!

Still no AF here - 16DPO. I plan to test at the weekend. Fingers crossed AF doesn't show up. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit hopeful. 🤞

Hi everyone!
We are ttc #2 I came off the pill in July and each month since I’ve had cramps 2 weeks after and other symptoms, peeing plenty and being super tired and emotional. The first month or 2 I thought I could be pregnant but now the cramps are so bad I’m convinced something is wrong with me. My stomach is getting bigger and I literally look pregnant, it’s making me so sad! I tested after the first 2 months but haven’t since (actually docs tested my urine mid September). I’m waiting for an ultrasound scan in 2 weeks to see as like I say I’m convinced something isn’t right!
With our first I had to have an emergency section and my ‘bulge’ has never really gone since...our dd is 2!!

@Casa2010 I hope the cramps stop and all is well on the ultrasound. Have you had periods since coming off pill or just cramps?

@Newbie21 I'm in the same position as you. AF is two days late at the moment. Holding out for the weekend to test if nothing happens in the next few days. I've had LOTS of symptoms too. But trying not to get my hopes up xxx

@newbie21 yes I’ve been having periods but they’ve been completely different to the bleeds I had when on the pill. 🤔

Officially in the TWW. Predicted ovulation day today. Managed to DTD tonight and 3 nights before in a row. Bless DH he’s knackered lol.

Has anyone got a good idea on opk..I have been doing the opk for a few months now to try and track my ovulation day and I’m still a little confused by then lol 😂
When I first start doing them on day 10dp there is no second line but the nearer I get to ovulation the darker the line before until it’s positive.. is this normal or should I not be paying any attention to the second line if it’s not a positive?

Rightnow1245 I think it's normal for the second line to get darker the closer you get to ovulation. When I start seeing a darker second line I'll test twice a day to try and catch the start of the LH surge.

My chart is looking different this month! 5dpo and my temperatures are super flat. I don't see how it can mean anything at this really early stage but it looks nice and tbh has made me get my hopes up a bit cause it's so different to the last three cycles I tracked.

IronCurtain the clear blue tests are so confusing - is this kind the one where a cross = pregnant?

Newbie21 how have you managed to hold off testing?! 16dpo with no AF sounds really promising!
