Too early for an October bus?

My AF arrived yesterday so I'm off the September bus already

Trying for baby #2
Age 33

This month I am going to track my cycle using ovulation strips. DTD lots last month so I'm gutted but onwards and upwards!

My turn for a silly question...
Anecdotally, what does everyone think about how likely you are to get a BFP in a month where you don't feel pregnant, or like you have any symptoms?
I have no memory of whether I had anything when I conceived my daughter, but looking back at the charts I only tested on CD 38/16 days DPO so I'm going to guess I wasn't overwhelmed with symptoms!! (How on earth was I so restrained!!)

@MakeAWhish I did wonder if it could be ovulation bleed, I hope so anyways as means I'm still in with a chance this month. X

@Bethy1995 I tested at 11dpo and I usually have a 28/29 day cycle so the CB digi was 3-4 days before my period was actually due. I track ovulation using OPKs and CM.

@toomanyflatwhites I got my bfp last month, no symptoms at all until 2 days after AF due which was sore sides of my boobs. As the days went on they got so painful. I didn’t make it passed 6 weeks so no sickness or any other symptoms for me. But I definitely did not feel pregnant x

@keepploddingalong we are in a really similar position! AF was due for me today, nothing as of yet.... I haven't bit the bullet and tested yet though. Was hoping to hold out until mid-week if I haven't come on by then.....

@toomanyflatwhites I really think it's so different for each person. I've heard so many people say they had absolutely no idea until they tested. Our bodies cope with the hormone changes so differently- and I think nobody is out until AF shows up or you're confident a negative test is right! Fingers crossed xx

@summer28 how do you do it! I'm awful for doing a test then I get all confused at what symbol/line is pregnant haha.

So far as weird feelings go... I have been really hungry and I have felt a bit sicky/nauseas but not actually been sick how about you ?

TWW for me too I feel really good about this month, AF not due until 20th which is mine and DP 2nd anniversary. Would be the most amazing present for us both as on Cycle 7 of ttc. Still no BFP for anyone? Hoping it comes soon x

I'm due on the 20th as well.. on 2dpo. Sorry for tmi (and if it's a stupid question) but do you still get EWCM a few days even after you've ovulated? I've just been following Flo and Clue rather than OPKs, so wondering if I may have missed my Ov date..

Abzi91 I've found my ewcm dries up day after ovulation and goes sticky

CD5 today and looks like AF is gone already. Whoop!

Hmm temp drop this morning so I reckon that's AF on the way today... I have to say, inaccurate as my current temping may be, I much prefer having that warning rather than just a nasty surprise when it turns up during the day.
I must buy a decent BBT thermometer though!!

CD21 and still no temp rise. Think I might have to give up on this one as an anovulatory cycle :(

@toomanyflatwhites I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you that it’s an implantation dip. I agree about the warning though, when my bbt/cycle is playing along it’s super handy - has saved me a few wasted tests as well.

I had it last cycle but I don't remember feeling so fed up. I'm really snappy, and so not interested in dtd either 😐🤷🏻‍♀️

@Abzi91 yay cycle buddies I really hope so, I have such a good feeling about this month! And yes, the EWCM started around my 2nd smiley this month and continued for about 4/5days. I am using clue as well for the last couple of months. It seemed to time my opk smileys with it this month perfect so fingers crossed. If it happens this month, not only will it be our anniversary when I find out, my 12 week scan will be the week before Christmas and I can tell everyone then! I'm a little too excited... I know I shouldn't be. Does anyone get symptoms during the tww?

Thank you @ronniemipperton but I'm wondering if I had an anovulatory cycle too, nothing really quite adds up between my lack of peak OPK, very little EWCM, and weird temperatures. So silly but I'm really trying to avoid a July baby as we have a full month of family birthdays I i was hoping we would slide in there for June instead - spring babies are the best!! But am hardly going to skip TTC next month for that reason...

toomanyflatwhites me and DH's birthdays are two days apart (and his dad's is on the day in between us, his grandma's two days after his and my brother's one day after that). DH wistfully talked about waiting to TTC so we could have a baby with the same birthday as all of us! I told him it didn't work like that...

It's funny how the birthdays cluster in families though. Fingers crossed for your June baby!

Welcome @everycloudect! Delighted to have another cycle buddy! I am the same going to dtd tonight and wait and see if i get a temp rise tomorrow then will just rest, as hopefully will ov today. 😊 so romantic.

@KinCat it's so funny! In July we have 5 family birthdays and in May there are 4, and it's funny how mine and DPs family seem to have similar birthdays. My mum always said "no more July birthdays!!" So she would be a bit cross with me if I make another one 🤣 though if she knew I was hoping for an April one but had an early loss I guess she wouldn't be cross any more... I don't think June is going to happen unfortunately, though I suppose it's not over till AF appears!

Just an update, I'm not 13 days late. absolutely extreme tiredness today to the point where I almost fell asleep at work and my eyes are stinging...is this a sign I could still be preg? I slept well last night and went to bed at 10.30.
