My AF arrived yesterday so I'm off the September bus already

This month I am going to track my cycle using ovulation strips. DTD lots last month so I'm gutted but onwards and upwards!

@Newbie21 i think about the 15th? According to my app it should have been earlier but I got really strong stabby twinges on the 15th which is usually my ovulation pains.

@KinCat so so many BFNs 😂 was doing them daily from about 3 days late

@Chocolate89 I was planning on testing on 20/21st as got my BFP last month on a CB DIGI at 11dpo. Glad we are cycle buddies! Xxx

TwittleBee your spreadsheet is so pretty! I have one but it doesn't look as nice as that!

Queenofmyownheart do you track your temp? That's the best way to confirm when you ovulated. Generally the luteal phase (time from ovulation to your period) is a pretty fixed length so it would be strange to have a much longer than usual luteal phase and not be pregnant. I'd make a GP appointment so they can confirm with a blood test either way.

@KinCat no I don't, I'm fairly new to all this TTC business. Accidentally got pregnant with both my DCs so this is all new territory for me. Think I'll go see my GP, she's been wonderfully helpful so far. Thanks for the advice 👍🏻

sbhf1987 woah that is a lot of vitamins etc! I've just started taking Seven Seas Trying for a Baby this cycle.

@TwittleBee I’ll continue the Zita West ones into pregnancy but stop COQ10 as soon as I get a BFP. It’s 3 a day for the Vital Essence, 2 a day DHA and I also take 2 of the COQ10! I’m rattling lol

Hope everyone is well 😊 For those of you who came off the pill, did any of you notice a change to your periods when they returned? Prior to taking the pill 9 years ago, AF was always heavy and lasted 5-7 days. This time AF has only been 3 days and less heavy. Just hoping it’s not going to affect my chances this month 🤔

Hi @MrsNK I was on the implant and had it out last month and although AF is never heavy it did used to last about 7 days but this month was only 4 days with the last two days being very light so will be interesting to see if it has a effect

@Bethy1995 I’m going to stick to digitals. I know they’re more expensive but last month I got a BFP 1-2wks on a CB digi with weeks indicator but 3 days later only a faint line on a FRER which would have left me second guessing if it wasn’t for the digital x

sbhf1987 I've only been taking folic acid so far. May look at picking up some other stuff if I'm not pregnant by Christmas when we come back to the UK (live overseas currently where prenatal vitamins are really hard to find - god I miss Amazon!)

AF due 20th October, ovulation was the 6th DTD around ovulation and before that. But began spotting on Sunday so unsure if it’s just a mid cycle bleed or if it’s a 2 week early AF. Only time will tell x

Trying not to obsess...but am either due AF tomorrow or Saturday, depending on what I believe! Didn't get a peak OPK, v little EWCM, and temp only went up a week after I think I might possibly have ovulated. Could make for an interesting week 🤪 Anyway have got a job interview on Friday (an internal move) so hoping that will distract me either way. I'm not feeling even slightly hopeful as haven't got a single symptom (and am thinking perhaps I didn't ovulate this month) but I still know I'll be disappointed when AF shows up.

Ohhhh @AIDE2424 that sounds so stressful and confusing- fingers crossed it all settles down to normal. Have you been to the drs? They might be able to give you some pointers maybe?

@toomanyflatwhites I'm in a similar position. AF due today, nothing yet. But I've had loads of unusual symptoms, for me anyway, over the last 10 days or so. So I'm trying my best to just hold out until the middle of the week before I test if AF doesn't show up today or tomorrow. It's really hard though! X

@sbhf1987 hi, how long after your missed period did you get the positive with the cb digi?

I'm now 12 days after missed period, sore breasts and nipples, thought af was coming but just CM instead. I did 2x fr 45second tests last Monday, a CB blue dye Friday and a frer today all BFN hence why I'm giving up however could it still be too early to test if I Ov'd late? (Not tracking Ov) I'm holding on to every hope but with all these BFN it's making me feel really deflated.

@TwittleBee , my lp is around 10/11 days so am hoping an FRER would pick something up around 9dpo... I'm a poas addict so will be sitting on my hands until then!

@AIDE2424 could it be an ovulation bleed? Too early for implantation or period, if you ov'd on Saturday....

Af due today (8/10) nothing at all but Pregnacy test & early detection are both saying not pregnant..... waiting for 3days then testing again, fx!

AIDE2424 I agree with MakeAWhish that it could be an ovulation bleed, I get ovulation spotting. Or it could be a sign of PID (When I had PID my ovulation bleed got heavier, almost enough to be classed as a light period)

MakeAWhish 9dpo is when most implantation occurs but can occur as early as 6dpo so good luck! Could show by then! I used to have a 11dpo but started taking Bvits and it lengthened to 12dpo now

Oh god KinCat and TwittleBee I just realized that I sound like an absolute moron. That was the LAST time we DTD, and as my period still hasn't shown up I'm grasping at straws and wondering whether I ovulated very late? Sorry I didn't explain myself properly the first time!

PaintingOwls hahahah! I was wondering you must have just not explained fully rather than not have a clue (think we are all obsessed enough to know that the egg lasts top a day lol). How were you calculating your Ovulation?
