Too early for an October bus?

My AF arrived yesterday so I'm off the September bus already

Cycle #2
Trying for baby #2
Age 33

This month I am going to track my cycle using ovulation strips. DTD lots last month so I'm gutted but onwards and upwards!

Thanks @PaintingOwls and @TwittleBee - I started my job at this place a year ago because of the mat pay (I got SMP only at my old job) but needed to wait 7 months to start TTC to qualify. So my entire career path has been based on planning a DC2...I really don't want to change from my current job (as just finally enjoying it!) but the extra money would make all the difference!

I'm jumping on here quite late. Currently tww and I'm going a bit mental. This is the first cycle that looks very "promising" to me in a long while. I made some drastic changes to my diet and looked after my body very carefully. I stopped looking at my app like a bible and listened to my body. But you know how it is, you start doubting everything and then go back to "YES this is it"

But little bit about myself :

CD: 22

I had a very bad ectopic almost a year ago that resulted in an emergency surgery and a lot of drama. My right fallopian tube has been removed. So not only is this hard not knowing whether I'm pregnant or not, but also not knowing if it could be ectopic again.

It's helped me a lot lurking on here, but nice to finally e-meet you all 😊

beibikeiks Hi! That all sounds so stressful. I'm sorry that you've been through a lot and hope everything comes together soon for you.

As for me...I'm currently a bit grumpy because I'll be at a conference for all of my predicted fertile days later this month :| normal service will resume in November, I guess. Why does life have to be annoying and get in the way?!

We are ttc #3, this will be our first month trying ! Concieved first month last time which has got my hopes up and I know it's not likely to be that easy this time 🙈 I'm on day 14 today, opk wasn't very dark compared to yesterday! Think I'm probably going to ovulate day 17/18 as I have the last few months. Patiently waiting !

Does anyone else's OH work nightshift? My partners shifts this week have fallen exactly on my expected fertile window 🙈 so not much chance to dtd, there's no way during the day with 2 other kids around. He's going to come home during the night whenever I get my positive so I've literally only got like one chance this month 🙈

Oh no! That sucks 😫 I'm lucky that neither of us works weird hours/goes away for some period of time! There's always the next month, but impatient me doesn't always like that 😂

Don’t think this month will be my month! Haven’t had a positive OPK yet and been using them twice a day since around CD9, haven’t had chance to DTD the last 2 nights due to my grandad ( who I’m very close too) been ill and me camping by his bedside, currently on CD18 so AF will more then likely turn up late this month! X

However, I have just got this OPK so we could be nearly there!

Think it’s O day today and I feel absolutely awful. Had a bit of a headache and sore throat this morning and now it’s progressed to achey limbs, shivering and permanent grimacing from head/throat pain. Don’t think I’ll be DTD tonight. Stupid body!

@ronniemipperton I think it's the pressure!! Always seems to be something that goes wrong for us in the most crucial day too!

Hi @AIDE2424 that looks almost positive to me. Sorry to hear about your granddad. I know it can be frustrating to hear but stress may also lead you to ovulate a bit later. I think that's what's happened with me this month. Sometimes our bodies don't run like clockwork but doesn't mean you arent/won't ovulate, just a longer cycle this month.

I'm definitely out...af arrived this morning late and unwelcome...I'd had a negative test but I guess there's still hope until af arrives 😞

AIDE2424 yeah that is super close, certainly make sure you test again in the morning! So sorry about your Grandad though hun

ReginaPhalange89 hey there! Good luck and hope it does end up being super easy again for you! My DH works night shifts on his Rota, luckily he looks to be on Days when I'm in the fertile week this month though!

ronniemipperton urgh why does it have to be that way? Did you get a chance to DTD before?

AF showed up for me, as predicted. Bleurgh, onto the cycle marking 1 year of TTC then.

DH got back last night but now fertility friend has put me as ovulating on Wednesday! Annoyingly I don't have a very accurate temperature for today because of the 2am booty call and then waking up loads of times in the three hours before I temp. So not sure I agree with fertility friends assessment. Will see what happens over the next few days.

KinCat bloomin hope FF is wrong, would mean a pretty short cycle if you did ov on CD11 too.

Yeah, my cycles are pretty short but not that short! I think ovulating on day 13 makes more sense.

I'm around 6dpo now.
My FF app hasn't found ovulation as I've not temped or opk'd, so I'm a bit in the dark.
I had a lot of spotting for 2days after, so think maybe due to being on progesterone last cycle 🤷🏻‍♀️
So I put myself back on progesterone as soon as it stopped, just incase it was ovulation bleeding 🤔
All in all, no idea if I've even ovulated, just guessing using my many previous cycles.

Nothing stops your brain wanting to symptom spot tho hey 🙄

So I’m on cd 29 and still no sign of af starting!! 2 days ago I just assumed I was out as I started to see the tiniest amount of blood but absolutely nothing now!! Probably just my body messing with my head lol

Af was suppose to start today but could be tomorrow! Cramps are getting worse as the days go on but if no sign of af tomorrow I’m going to test with a FRER xxx

Well I’m out due to AF turning up again 14 days early, so not sure what’s going off with my cycles this month so confused! this is the second time I’ve expected to be ovulating and instead AF has turned up so I’m confused 😩

Can anyone explain what’s happening 😩

AF was due and came on the 2nd of September so that went and we began DTD, ovulation day was 17th September AF turned up 18th September, so again CD1 we’ve been DTD been using OPK positive OPK this morning and again AF has turned up today on which should have been CD18 and is now CD1! I’ll never conceive with 2 weekly cycles 😩 I haven’t a clue what’s going off and feel so disheartened.

@AIDE2424 - were your cycles like this prior to TTC?

Like clock work, usually a 5 day AF then a day without a bleed and one more day off AF and then off. Every 28/29 days. I just don’t get what’s happening. X
