Thank you @Floofsquidge and 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Chatbash72 · 11/09/2018 12:57

Please forgive my ramblings, I don't normally have sorry for myself moments ( well don't think I do 😳) but am pooped and have taken myself back off to bed ( NEVER happens unless unwell) and haven't been able to sleep as vivid hormonal dreams and busy bladder..
So af is looming, came off caffeine and alcohol in jan, takes 3 months for that to effect egg quality, so that takes me to May before there may be any improvement to my egg quality, which is only actually 4 cycles since then... which in the grand scheme isn't really long.. although I am 45 ( 😱) I have had babies for which I am very blessed... but I am still reg as clockwork which is a good thing... no obvious peri symptoms and one month of taking ubiquinol, so 2 more months to go before I can maybe see any benefits.. trying very hard to see the positives... today could be a sobbing mess later though.. baby dust to all ⭐️⭐️⭐️

CookieWaffle · 11/09/2018 13:20

Ahh rubbish isn't it @Chatbash72 :( xx I lost it a bit last night but work is keeping me occupied today.

Same here I'm still pretty regular, even though with my bloods one doc thought I was peri too but another doc dismissed it. Those 2 CPs show some hope but it feels like my body having never been pregnant before just went "What the hell is that??" and ditched the eggs. I'm now on a diet in the hope that that helps but I feel like it's more that my eggs are just old lol...

Chatbash72 · 11/09/2018 14:41

Big hugs @CookieWaffle xxx

CookieWaffle · 11/09/2018 20:35

@Chatbash72

Letsdothis42 · 12/09/2018 01:35

@chatbash thinking of you, that feeling of crappy shitness is overwhelming.

I contacted a fertility clinic in the czech rep. and need investigations redone so i'm off to the Dr's in the morning to see what and where I can get these done asap, paying privately more than likely for all investigations. I am scared beyond belief about everything, wish there was a real life mumsnet TTC group for handholding!

megan18 · 12/09/2018 02:05

Trying for a baby again after my loss any tips on how to get a good pregnancy and that

CookieWaffle · 12/09/2018 06:08

Megan I would love to tell you how to get a good pregnancy if I could only get one myself Grin xx

Taxgirl1 · 12/09/2018 07:58

@chatbash72 - how are you feeling today? Any better? It’s a tough ride isn’t it? Such an emotional rollercoaster and so draining at times. I say well done for taking yourself off to bed. Rest can be wonderfully therapeutic but I find can also make you feel more fragile. Hope you’re ok.

@cookie - hope you are doing ok too.

Big hugs everyone xx

Chatbash72 · 12/09/2018 09:00

Ooh @Taxgirl1 day 32, normally a 29-30 day girl, except last one was 34 days.. but my Kindara app says af was due yesterday.. boobs still uncomfortable, very pale pink streaking once yesterday and the day before.. loads of cm today but I can get that before af.. not sure I even dare to hope or just get impatient that af would hurry up so I can start a new cycle.. hubs working away today so I'm going to veg again today.. hell knows whYs going on today 🤷‍♀️

mellongoose · 12/09/2018 12:19

Huge hugs to everyone who needs one.

I'm on cd29. My cycles are usually 29 days although last month was 34. I don't feel pregnant but I don't feel as though af is imminent either.

Will see what the next week brings 🤞

Cleozeta · 12/09/2018 15:09

How interesting, I think we are all in sync - my last cycle was 34 days too (normally 25!!)

Letsdothis - good luck with your investigations, remember we are here with you all the way!

Chat - sorry you are having such a hard time this cycle. It's such a stressful rollercoaster.

Chat & Mellon - while af is away there is still hope Smile

As for me, fw has started thankfully. Ava has been correct in it's predictions using my nightly data, and just got there before the opk's did! Looks like ov may happen tomorrow or Friday (cd14 or 15). Am so interested to see what the TCM does to my LP this cycle

CritterTamer · 12/09/2018 15:38

@Cleozeta was your longer cycle last month due to later ovulation or a longer LP? I’m still wondering about my record 13 day LP last month and swear it had to be the acupuncture and yoga. Maybe maca root powder helped too. It’s fascinating what our bodies do!

Cleozeta · 12/09/2018 17:33

Critter - it was due to late ov.
My LP is always 11 days, except for the one cycle I did accupuncture back in January (cycle before bfp) when it was 13 days. So i'm really interested to see if it does it again because I've started accupuncture again this cycle.

Funkypuzzle · 12/09/2018 19:50

I am going through such a rollercoaster myself.
I am 8dpo first cycle post Mirena removal age 42 TTC3.
I have felt very pregnant over last 3 days.
Sore boobs, Montgomery tubercles (not actually sure if these were present b4 now or if maybe they are just sign of normal cycle progesterone etc), heavy feeling in uterus which feels like pressing on bladder,, back ache, night time hunger and on off light AF cramps.

BUT I know logically it is far too early to have symptoms and I need to seriously prepare myself for BFN possibly combined with a long wait for AF to come. .. The revelation of this possibility has just hit me this evening. I know mirenas can put your cycles out of whack and this combined with my age means that I might not get my AF for some time.

I had EWCM days 10-11 with +ve opk after which CM dried up.
I am not temping so I am not sure if it’s possible I didn’t actually Ov after all even though signs were there..

I think I am writing this down just to prepare myself for worst..

I find this thread helpful just to vent my anxieties and frustrations..
Thanks for being my there lovely 40+ ladies!

😧❤️😧❤️😧❤️

Cleozeta · 12/09/2018 20:12

Funky, I think if you had all the signs of ovulation, plus positive opk then it's most likely ov has happened.
Fingers crossed for you

CritterTamer · 12/09/2018 21:43

Hugs to everyone struggling through the TWW - it really sucks. I’ve pretty much given up hope of ever seeing even so much as a CP to be honest which does at least make the TWW less stressful, Pinning all my hopes on the IVF cycles now as i don’t think it will happen any other way for me after all this time without even a hint of an early line on a test 😊

Feeling down today as I’m miserable and covered in big painful spots from the testosterone gel and really tired of choking down disgusting maca powder and spirulina drinks while DH is away with work tonight having a great time and just sent me a photo of him with several bottles of red wine in front of him - after promising me faithfully that he would stop drinking until after the egg collection....
Currently trying to convince myself that the 20-30% chance of this second cycle working is a good thing....
Sorry for the moaning - like Funkypuzzle said sometimes it helps to just be able to let it out 😊

Chatbash72 · 12/09/2018 22:06

Vent away @Funkypuzzle
We do seem to have synced again, keeping fingers crossed 🤞 for you @mellongoose
Get busy @Cleozeta
Big hugs @CritterTamer
Big hugs to everyone.. crappy month 😞😞⭐️⭐️💕💕

Chatbash72 · 13/09/2018 07:20

Af hit last night 😞

CookieWaffle · 13/09/2018 07:39

Same here Chat, bang on time. Perimenopausal my arse! I'm actually feeling quite happy that my cycle was pretty normal.

Hugs to all the ladies feeling down, definitely helps to let it out. The sudden darker and colder days are not helping I think

Chatbash72 · 13/09/2018 09:12

@CookieWaffle in too much discomfort to feel sad, but yes deffo not peri menopausal... still thankful very regular
big hugs to all xx

crivit · 13/09/2018 12:41

Hi all

Just catching up with the thread and sorry to see people have been struggling so much - hugs to all.

Last cycle hit around 60 days so I was expecting a tsunami of blood when my period finally arrived (especially as it coincided with a weekend camping trip) but it was suspiciously normal Hmm. Not sure why it was that long as it could have been a few things - peri-menopause shudder, HSG just as I was likely about to ovulate, an acupuncture session, starting DHEA... Very difficult to pinpoint! Hopefully will get back on track this cycle as I still need to have another day 21 blood test but not been able to these last two cycles. Currently in the soy isoflavones days (which I didn't take last cycle) so building up to hopeful ovulation and I've ordered some progesterone cream which should arrive in time but we'll see... I suppose one advantage of the longer cycle last time is that I've therefore had longer on the DHEA for the first post HSG cycle?

I'll end with more hugs for everyone in the thread Smile

Martydog · 13/09/2018 17:28

My bfp is now dark enough to see in a photo.

Over 40 ttc - August baby dust for me!
Funkypuzzle · 13/09/2018 18:21

congrats @martydoc. Some hope for us all!!

Funkypuzzle · 13/09/2018 18:24

9dpo symptoms pretty much gone. Just feeling bloated and ate the biggest lunch today. I had forgotten about premenstrual hunger!!
On another note I am accumulating a fat advantage card balance from all the CoEnzyme 10 I am purchasing 😅😅
