Too early for a September bus?

KinCat · 30/07/2018 08:36

I've (intentionally) missed out on an August BFP due to planned holidays but I'm crossing my fingers for a 7th September BFP/AF! Not sure if there's a September thread already?

Age: 27
TTC: No. 1
Cycle: 1

Getting my coil taken out this coming weekend and really hoping I'm one of the lucky ones whose cycle goes straight back to normal! I haven't had a period for years but have been tracking my bbt for the past month.

@dragonmummy17 I'd love a longer cycle this time as it makes better timing for my next ovulation. Obviously I'd rather be pregnant but a delayed af is a close second x

Thisimmortalcurl · 27/08/2018 20:34

That’s looking good Shaza , hopefully nice and clear for you in the morning .
I’m driving myself mad , every boob ache I’m thinking is a sign .
I remember with my others I would get shooting pains up my bits but can’t remember when it started .

sbhf1987 · 27/08/2018 21:21

@em254 @shelly10 thanks ladies me too! I have found the acupuncture relaxing, it’s only my second treatment so hoping to see the benefits soon. I’ve booked a course of 12 so 3 months worth to hopefully help my cycles which after years of being regular have gone mental in the last few months 🙄

muddypuddlejumping · 27/08/2018 22:03

@ImpatientMammy surely it's a bit early at 3/4dpo. Last time I had terrible back ache during implantation and just knew despite it being my first. I then had spotting afterwards. 🤞🏼 though!

muddypuddlejumping · 27/08/2018 22:05

@Shazafied I can see that line too!

@GreatestShowWoman 3 days is still a long time. Hoping you get your bfp.

ImpatientMammy · 27/08/2018 23:02

@muddypuddlejumping I was thinking that but it depends how accurately you know when you ovulated. I think I read you can implant at about 6dpo so if your possible a day of so out it could be 🤷🏻‍♀️🤞 x

GreatestShowWoman · 27/08/2018 23:09

@Shazafied remember a line is a line congratulations!!

KinCat · 28/08/2018 02:19

@thatshabbychick good luck! Mine were so so white, not even the faintest hint of a squinter and they're supposed to be very sensitive tests as well. That combined with absolutely no symptoms makes me think this probably isn't my month. My fertility friends app is currently showing 5 points (out of 100) in the pregnancy analysis i.e. very unlikely to be pregnant!

I at least managed to avoid buying more preg tests. I need to go to the shops today though - give me strength!

Shazafied · 28/08/2018 07:02

Thanks for all your congrats guys.

I haven't quite relaxed yet as I got extremely faint positives at 0300 and 0630....I think I'm now 14dpo so was hoping for darker. Also had some cramping in bed last night.

Will just have to keep trying and hope I get a bFp !!

thatshabbychick · 28/08/2018 07:08

@KinCat Yes, I'm going to the shops today too and going to try to resist buying any. To be honest, we're low on money this month anyway, so I def can't afford to be buying tests. I got some delivered from Amazon yesterday. They're cheap ones that supposedly detect 10miu. I think I'm 9DPO today, tested this morning and BFN. So disappointing, because I was adamant that all of these cramps were implantation pains and that a sensitive test might detect a pregnancy already 😔 SO tempted to buy one more twin pack of FRER so that I have one to test with tomorrow! Knowing my luck, I'll go and spend money that we don't have, on some FRER's and then AF will suddenly arrive! 🙄 x

Lemonsugar245 · 28/08/2018 07:25

@thatshabbychick 9DPO is still really early. I know it’s easier said than done could you wait til Saturday? As then you are more likely to get an accurate result either way. I’m 4 DPO and I really don’t think it happened this month. I’m then holding off until December as I don’t really want a summer kid. My salary is due to increase next autumn so may as well hold out.

em254 · 28/08/2018 07:45

Ladies I’m 5/6 days DPO and already have to restrain from POAS I’m counting down till Friday! I’m impressed with your restraint to wait until 9dpo! That is still quite early though..... with my DS I didn’t get my BFP until 11dpo so plenty time yet, don’t be disheartened.

thatshabbychick · 28/08/2018 09:40

@Lemonsugar245 Yeah, I think I'm going to wait now. I'm a very impatient person and I think I need to chill out. I feel a lot more clear minded this morning about it all. I have felt really shit all weekend and been having awful cramping, which I got excited about and assumed was early pregnancy, however I now think I've actually got a UTI! Have asked doctors and they are giving me a urine sample form that I have to collect tonight. To be honest, I don't know why I thought it was implantation pains, because it's been severe pain in my pelvic and abdomen area, which relieves a bit after weeing! Plus I've had a bit of a fever, bit of nausea etc! I feel stupid for not getting checked out sooner and for assuming that it was implantation or pregnancy 🙈🙈 This TTC malarkey turns us into crazy people!!!😆x

kmcneil91 · 28/08/2018 10:19

Hi All,

Thought I would check in, went away for a few days but have been keeping track of cycle, missed 2 days of the SMEP early on and been on plan since, however last month I ovulated CD18 and now CD19 with nothing... I've been testing everyday... starting to feel disheartened! Hubby goes offshore so will miss my next few chances if this isn't our month. Major feeling sorry for myself today! Blush

stormtrooperjulian · 28/08/2018 12:25

Thought I’d join my first bus!

31
TTC #1
Cycle: 1

Had my implant out in July, period came exactly one month later and now I’m CD18 and 2dpo.

AF is due on the 9th but I go away on the 6th for a long weekend so I thought I’d test that morning, will be 11dpo then so I guess something should show up by then if it’s going to?

rollerskaterdata · 28/08/2018 13:33

Hopping over from the August bus as AF arrived today bang on time (boo!). Hope you all don't mind me joining although I'll probably be the last one standing!
Age: 27
TTC: #2
Cycle no: 2
CD: 1
Cycle Length: 26-28 days (this past one was 27 days)
BFP/AF due: 24th Sept based on a 27 day cycle

Will be doing SMEP again this month but I'll actually be charting this time unlike last month using clearblue OPKs and will chuck some pre-seed in there for good measure!

Dwellington · 28/08/2018 15:22

@sbhf1987 did I read correctly you’ve just started acupuncture this month too? I’ll be having my 3rd treatment tomorrow, not sure I’m overly convinced by the lady doing it but the first session I had at CD5 gave me an extra 2 days bleeding so I’m hopeful it is having some effect! Fingers crossed it does the trick for us.

@thatshabbychick sorry to hear about your UTI, they are grim. Make sure if you need antibiotics you don’t get trimethoprim incase you are pregnant without knowing yet and didn’t mention you’re TTC. They should give you another type.

Dwellington · 28/08/2018 15:27

Oh and not a lot to report for 5dpo here, usual sore boobs post O, a few twinges but again not uncommon. But have been excessively tired and woken up really late the past two mornings having had disturbing dreams both nights? Still probably too early on to count as actual symptoms.

Really have my fingers crossed this month as would get BFP just before OH birthday and would be due on the week of my birthday next May (I hope I’m not the only one who looks into it this much Blush )

Only 9 more days to wait...

joliechoufleur · 28/08/2018 15:34

Hi! Please can I join??

Age: 31
TTC: #1

I had a complete molar pregnancy that ended in April, was trying for eight months ish before that so now pretty impatient!

I’ve got super long cycles at 44 days, ovulating around day 30-33... usually have some kind of a cyst going on, it’s been a real party

AF due on Saturday, cd44 so currently 9dpo. I had been feeling queasy and crampy and now today absolutely nothing...

Arghhhhhhhh (bangs head on desk)

Lots of luck to everyone, fingers crossed for all x

KatBeCool · 28/08/2018 16:02

Anyone else testing tomorrow? It'll be only 10 DPO for me but that's as far as I can restrain myself.
I've been wanting to sleep for like half a day, way too much fatigue. Super sore boobs, most sore they've ever been. Plus random jolts, cramps, and pulling. But the fact that it's happening on both right and left sides is puzzling.

sbhf1987 · 28/08/2018 16:12

@Dwellington it’s my 3rd appt tomorrow too. Ive not noticed any difference yet as had it on CD6 when my period had ended. Had twinges in my ovaries and mild period type pain all day after. Hope it helps you.

Not even ovulated yet and dreading the TWW, don’t want to turn into a googling nutter again!

veeboo · 28/08/2018 17:11

Hi ladies thinking of you all. I'm slightly behind at 5dpo so no urge to poas yet and I won't until at is due ad it will just drive me crazy. Its crazy to think inly a few months ago I was blissfully unaware of the tww madness!! No symptoms at all here yet.

Jxtina86 · 28/08/2018 17:20

Wishing everyone luck in their TTW!

So I thought I was also going into the tww as I presumed with my temp dip and rise last week, I'd ovulated. Apparently not. The next day after temp rise, I dipped right down again and then rose the next day. Since then I've dipped down again! I'm so confused! Carried on DTD to cover bases but I have no clue what's happening. It's my first proper cycle post-pill so could be that. But what's confusing even more is that I had cramps last week too which made me think ovulation was on it's way and no cramps since Saturday at least. Any ideas?! I really didn't want to use opks because of added cost and just when to do them but looks like I might have to.

KatBeCool · 28/08/2018 17:28

@Jxtina86 I definitely wouldn't rely on just temping, at least not until you've established the patterns for a few cycles. Not all charts are smooth lines, sometimes it's very zigzag-like and it's completely normal. Mine constantly jumps but I can see a pattern before and after ovulation. But I also used an OPK. Buy the cheap ones online, you don't have to get Clear Blue.

Jxtina86 · 28/08/2018 17:39

@KatBeCool oh my chart from last month was quite zig-zag like but these are big dips and rises, we're talking a whole degree rather than a few decimal places. Yeah I think I'll just have to do it with opks next month and see. When is the best time to do them?
