Too early for a September bus?

I've (intentionally) missed out on an August BFP due to planned holidays but I'm crossing my fingers for a 7th September BFP/AF! Not sure if there's a September thread already?

Getting my coil taken out this coming weekend and really hoping I'm one of the lucky ones whose cycle goes straight back to normal! I haven't had a period for years but have been tracking my bbt for the past month.

@em254 I know what you mean about all consuming! I've barely ovulated and I'm thinking about the 2ww symptoms 🙈😂

I'm on CD12 - had ovulation temp drop and rise yesterday/today. DTD four times this week and will tonight, y'know for luck/It's Friday after all 😉 fingers crossed we've timed it right! Into tww we go!

@KinCat my dad got an indentical twin and my family expects I could conceive twins too! Just ask DH what we'll do if we got twins and he responded "we need a year of maternity/paternity leaves!" 😅 Right now, I got 2 acu tests, 5 test strips and then just both 2 FRER tests today at the pharmacy. 🤣🤣🤣 This 2ww is making me mad crazy on preg tests. LOL... I am tempted to tests on the 29th (AF is due on 2nd Sept).

I got mood swing today and my right boobie is really sore. Might me a long weekend of pure napping for me.

I back read and some here asked about fertility yoga. I read on another thread that they watched yoga yin in YouTube.

I actually tried it once (timing was a week before my ov day) - I chose the video on increasing egg quality before ovulation. 🤣🤣🤣 Hope it was effective! I'll wait and see until by 2nd Sept 🤗

@Lov3Rosie I remember researching twins before and if I remember correctly, the recessive gene for twins is only carried through the Mother's side of the family. So you would only be able to conceive twins if the gene is on your side, not your partners. Sucks doesn't it! As much as I would find twins SUCH hard work, I would still love to have them too. My husband has twins on his side, but none on my side, so our chances are nil ☹️

@thatshabbychick that sounds promising. My mum even requests for a triplets! Such demand! 😂😂 She needs to remember I am the one who will do the labour here.. 🤣🤣🤣

Who knows? You may conceive twins (I know of some friends who did not have any in their family and the odds were at their side) 👌

@Lov3Rosie my SIL has twins and her DP had them his side but nothing on her side, so I think it could work either way x good luck

@Lov3Rosie my AF is due on the 2nd also! And I already decided on testing on the 29th one way or another, the morning we leave on our holiday.

I'm new to this, with DS1 being a happy surprise, I never really tracked my fertility or anything. We're now planning on trying for dd2 and the app says I'm ovulating on 4 September. Is there anywhere I can go to look up all the terminology used in this thread? How often would you normally dtd before ovulation? Thanks for your help guys!

@AlReef not sure where you can get all the abbreviations. Maybe google??

In terms of when to dtd, maybe start dtd about 5-6 days pre-ovulation or more, every other day until two days out from ovulation then every day for the two days and the on the day you ovulate and maybe day after for luck. Or check SMEP (sperm meets egg plan).

I love seeing you ladies wishing for twins! It's always been a secret hunch/wish of mine but have never said it out loud! I now think I am 2dpo. I have no tests in the house and don't intend to unless late as I hate how crazy I felt last month. Flo app thinks AF due 6th Sept. Fx for some bfp for those of you testing this week!

Has anyone else put weight on TTC? we’ve been trying for 3 months now and I’ve put on over 7lbs! Clearly comfort eating with every BFN and also eating to take my mind off the TWW. I keep telling myself I’ll be more healthy once I’m pregnant 🙈😂

@Em254 i have put the whole 2stone i lost doing SW last summer on over the last year. Did really well keeping it off until April when i had a CP and ive eaten it all back on since!

Hi ladies, I am joining you all on the bus!

We started TTC #2 a year ago. In that year I’ve had 2 miscarriages - 1 at 6 weeks and 1 at 12 weeks. I’m hoping this will be third time lucky! My cycles are back to normal and my fertile period starts tomorrow so keeping fingers and toes crossed!

I've got a feeling I'm going to be disappointed in a few days, AF due at the very end of the month / start of Sept and I've got some horrible big spots emerging which is true to form.

Only cycle #1 though ! Took 3 years to have DD1 so I don't know what I was expecting !!! You just get your hopes up don't you !

I just tracked cm this cycle but will go all bells and whistles next month if AF arrives !

@em254 yep me, I've put on at least 1 stone this year! I've been trying to lose weight now as I've convinced myself that it's the reason I've not had bfp yet (I was about 2 stone lighter when I conceived DD) but it's so hard with the disappointment with the BFN! Can't stop consoling myself with ice cream and chocolate

I'm symptom spotting already, been having cramps the last 2 days! It's going to be a loooong 2ww.

I'm going to try OPKs this month for the first time. Decided against temping as mornings can be too chaotic! When do you all start testing?

Symptom spotting like crazy here too. Not sure when/if I've ovulated but cd19 of 26 so fingers crossed. Had a dream I got a BFP last night and I still can't calm myself down 🙈 this months gunna hit me hard if AF comes. How's everyone doing? Not long till the BFPs should start rolling in 🤞 x

Hey, joining on this bus due af 5 or 6 th Sep.
Madly symptom spotting already.
Thus would be number 4. Have huge age gaps already between the first 2 and the 3rd . I’m 40 so not sure how well this will go and the last time we were trying it took 4 years.

DPO 4 so implantation not even happened yet (if it's going to) but that doesn't stop me googling all possible pre-ovulation symptoms!
