Here's the new thread. This is a lovely supportive thread for anyone who has suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately known as the penguin huddle- this is the place to survive the ups and downs of this crazy journey.

MMC at 10 weeks in December 2017. Ectopic rupture in November 2016.
Cycle 6 post MC. Trying since September 2016.

@Boboelephant if it hurts your womb to cough it's DEFO a pregnant symptom!! Within a week of getting the cough I had to hold my tummy every time I coughed or it seemed like my womb would fall out!! Eek!! What amazing timing that would be! Can't wait for Friday!!

@Cakelaur I hope you start feeling bit calmer after your next scan. I think I would feel the same in your shoes!

@yellowdaffodils86 and @hellotoyellow - 32 is THE age, i'm telling you. Babies all round. (in case you can't tell, i'm 32...!)

Welcome to the newbies. Sorry you find yourselves here but I think you'll find the group a great source of support!

I'm really struggling this week. I need to take Cyclogest for the 7 days before my period and it is utterly kickin my ass. So bloated and tired. My boobs hurt, I can't sleep and was up being sick at 4am this morn. I'm not feeling preggo vibes but I'll know for sure on Friday. A lot of the symptoms are the same as if my period is due so it's all up in the air 🤷🏼‍♀️

After nearly 2 weeks of stims and 4 scans I was ready to take my trigger shot last night, IUI booked for tomorrow. So I will soon be in the 2WW! Feeling quite anxious about it all tbh. I "should" be 20 weeks tomorrow but instead we're back doing IUI again. I just want it to work so badly.

We went to a forget-me-not remembrance garden this weekend and my girlfriend wrote a message in memory of our little bean, I had a little cry.

Re: goals - I wanted to have my first baby at 32 or younger, that can't happen now (unless I get pregnant straight away and then give birth very prematurely!). Then I wanted to be pregnant again and having had a successful 20 week scan by the time my due date rolls around, that will only happen if I conceive this cycle. I underestimated how long the miscarriage and subsequent follow up would take!

Well af arrived yesterday - my first period since my ectopic surgery 5 weeks ago. I guess I’m officially ttc again which is exciting but terrifying at the same time.

@charlyn welcome to the TTC train!

@tinypaws where was the remembrance garden? Was it at the hospital? I came across a page on the miscarriage association website where you can write a message on a star which I thought was really lovely. I was planning to write something but got a bit emotional reading other people’s messages that didn’t manage to do it yet. I really like the idea of doing something like that though. Good luck with the IUI btw!

@redrobin7 I’ve been thinking about you today. Really hope you’re doing ok. Hopefully the guide dogs are providing some distraction xxx

@charlyn Sorry about your ectopic, welcome to the huddle!

@sweetpea0318 It was in a park in Colchester - it wasn't specifically for pregnancy loss, just general remembrance but it was open/flexible enough that you could use it however you wanted without getting in anyone else's way.

@Mistymeow thanks hun. I'll keep fingers crossed for you too! Not too many symptoms for me except this terrible throat the last two days, feeling hotter than usual- very sweaty hands, and very sore heavy breasts. They usually hurt but usually more of a tingle. These ache when I take my bra off. Ouch!!
@Bobzybaby hope it doesn't last long. Fx for Friday!
@Cakelaur Thankyou. It would be amazing. I've never gotten to tell them in person so hopefully a good omen! I've only had a small cough so no womb hurting yet but I'll watch it. TMI but when we DTD this morning THAT hurt my womb!! It was odd. Hope that means the same thing. 🤞

Tough day today - bumped in to a former colleague who was obviously pregnant, asked her how far along and turned out she was due the same week I was. I almost blurted out 'that's when I was due' but managed to stop myself just in time. Spent the rest of the afternoon thinking about what could have been.

Totally hear you all on the life targets. I seem to just miss mine - wanted to be married by 30, baby 1 at 32 and 2 at 34. Then got married at 31, baby 1 at 33 and trying for baby 2 I'll defo be at least 35! Weird to think that this thirties marriage and babies thing is the normal age range now. I remember my mum always being the oldest Mum in the group and she was 31 when she had me!

@sweetpea0318 Thank you! I wasn't sure I was going to make it to the training as I was in so much pain and passing so many clots but thankfully time passed quickly and I was able to use the loo.

Meanwhile my sister is in labour! It's bittersweet.

@Boboelephant you are bloody pregnant!!
Of course i have no idea, we can speculate all these symptoms as we do every month, but if I had to bet money, id bet a bfp for you. Boobs achy after bra off and achy womb after dtd, were signs for me! Dont wont to get your hopes up but my fingers are crossed.

@Cakelaur you certainly cant plan the big things in life or where life will take you!
I guess when i started ttc i had 9months to play with, when i thought '32' being the age, i had a couple of years! I guess when you are making these kind of plans, have a mc doesnt factor lol.
Nice to stay team yellow, my curiosity would eat me alive!

@RedRobin7 oh you've had such a tough time. I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. I hope tomorrow goes ok and your pain stops soon. I also hope your sister has an easy labour and your nephew brings you lots of joy.

Tonight I'm on the gin (one) and sobbing because I read a bit of a book about becoming a mother. It's surprisingly carthatic.

I know what you guys mean about targets-in my head I want to be pregnant by my due date in oct. really hoping we can catch this month (not as likely as if hoped after meltdown fri/sat) or next. Sadly far to old to join the 32 club-I'm 39 on 24th July.

Well I'm officially 3DPO - my boobs are really achy and sensitive and I've had some little sharp pains low down in the right but I think I'm just hoping and being daft. Another 9 days at least before I can poas...I'm officially in the TWW crazy state!

So I'm on CD18 and on the 7th day of high fertility on the clear blue digital OPK however I have been charting my BBT and FF says I'm on Day 3 past ovulation? I'm so confused... frustrated and tired of BD at the moment it becoming a chore! X

@sweetpea0318 I can't join the 32 club either as I'm 42! However to the 32 club ... I had my DS at 32 so it's a good age. Xx
@RedRobin7 sending you virtual hugs! Sorry you're going through this , good luck with the scan and gosh, don't be worried re blood - I'm sure they are used to it, you need to think about yourself first! However with all my three pregnancies I bled and had early scans with everything being all right. Xxx

@RedRobin7 I was bleeding fairly heavily when I had my scan on Monday, and it was fine. I hope it gives you a kind of closure - mine certainly did xx

Well today marks a year since we found out about the loss of our first bean. I didn't book time off thinking maybe I'd be okay. I am not okay -_-
