Here's the new thread. This is a lovely supportive thread for anyone who has suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately known as the penguin huddle- this is the place to survive the ups and downs of this crazy journey.

MMC at 10 weeks in December 2017. Ectopic rupture in November 2016.
Cycle 6 post MC. Trying since September 2016.

@highlandteajenny welcome and so sorry for your loss.
@Bobzybaby yep. Start jks on day 8 and every other day until positive opk. Start opks on day 10.
@Newbie21 enjoy your holiday. Sounds like a great way to cover all bases! We've had a few bfps from marathons on here!
@KnitKitty ahh I ovulate day 17 too so I feel your pain!! Do some nice things to pass the time before the crazy takes over!

@boboelephant thanks. Wasn't sure if it would wear out the good swimmers... but we'll have a go.

@Newbie21 I've read reports that say it's fine and there's not much difference in swimmers from daily to every other day. Just do what feels right for you.

@Newbie21 hope your enjoy your holiday. That sounds like a great approach though, no testing and nice and relaxed. Fx for you x

Thanks @Boboelephant CB was positive with fmu this morning so I'll test again this arvo/this evening. If I have a long surge does that mean ov will be later? Or even tomorrow? Trying not to get obsessive but struggling. So desperate to get a BFP. Had an email from pampers today reminding me I should be 25 weeks-sure I'd opted out but hey. Made me sad, and determined at the same time. I so want my BFP for my birthday (24th July).

Oh those emails are horrible, I still get some from my first mc even though I’ve put a load in as junk and opted out of loads. This time I’m setting up a new email address to put all my important things to and my current email address can be used for all the other stuff including anything pregnancy related so that way I don’t need to look at it all the time.

@Laney79 i'm so sorry you received that really insensitive email. Amazing how marketing departments don't consider things like this. Obviously they're not to know but there should be more delicate ways of checking everything is going ok before sending you a "Congrats you're 25 weeks" type email .

Try not to put too much pressure on yourself for TTC this month. What's mean to be will be, keeping everything crossed for you x

@Laney79, getting those emails really sucks, I had the same with Pampers as well - horrid. I subscribed to one which I got off pretty quickly after MC but to do so meant logging in and deactivating loads of stuff - it then seemed like it realised I'd lost the baby and stuck up a load of supportive messages - why they couldn't just do one click to unsubscribe and have done with it I don't know.

Completely failed to wait to test, used a CB digital this morning and got Not Pregnant - so that didn't make me feel better and probably too early in any case either way! Argh. Spotting from Weds and Thurs has now stopped again so feel in complete limbo. I'm really hating not really knowing what my cycles are like anymore, I used to be a 28 day regular as clockwork type, now who knows?

Oh well, off to a wedding tomorrow then holidays! That will be a distraction at least. I'm looking forward to lots of time with DS and DH though planning lots of swimming so could do with AF staying away a bit longer if anything! Hope everyone has nice plans for the weekend.

Argh @laney79, I hate those bolts from the blue. They can really knock you sideways. I hope your day has improved and you can enjoy your weekend.

That reminds me, Some of you might remember the other week (at least one thread ago!) when the someone rang me up about why I had missed my midwife appointments and was really insensitive. I wrote to the hospital (not in an angry way in a 'maybe you can share information in a better way' kind of way). Anyway, I got a really lovely email back and they are going to change their system for communicating about pregnancy loss- from paper to email- within their team to try and avoid this happening again. I really feel like they took it seriously and listened.

I'm on 9dpo and starting to feel the crazy. Because of my long cycle I'm on cd 31 and AF not due til Weds according to my app...

@robin78 that is really positive that they took on board your feedback. Whilst horrible for you, maybe you have now saved another lady from such an experience.

Hi guys! Ive been lurking on this thread so far - congratulations to all BFPs and commiserations to those who have had a recent loss or AF, we all understand
I’m Tefiti, age 24. Have 1 DC and have so far had 2 early MCs this year. Still trying and currently 7dpo (I think but have no idea- not temping or OPKing at the moment) is anyone else at this point?
I’m such a terrible symptom spotter - this month have really sore boobs, dry mouth and lips (which I had with both previous BFPs). Is anyone else a cervix checker? Or is that TMI?

Wasn’t sure whether to update or not as I really don’t want to upset anyone! Had another scan today at 9+3, bub is moving around now and everything looks good. Feeling so relieved but of course still nervous!

Also massive congrats to everyone with BFP’s. I hope you all have very sticky beans!

@hayleyfx I personally enjoy reading about the BFPs and updates from people who have been successful. It gives me hope and you deserve the happiness after such a difficult time. Everything crossed for your sticky bean 😊

I think my initial happiness may have been too optimistic as I started spotting a little Brown in with my cm last night and today and it looks like my FRER lines have got fainter since yesterday. AF isn't due until this weekend. I'm kicking myself for testing early as I'm scared it looks like a possible chemical pregnancy

@hayleyfx mine is still pretty fresh but tbh personally after what we have been through on here seeing positive stories is comforting for me and makes me believe on day I’ll have mine... so without further ado ... a big fat congratulations to you! I hope all goes well for you!

@tefiti2 : sorry for your loss. When I was pregnant on this my recent loss I swear I felt implantation pains and I think I felt them on the first one just didn’t know what they were! What is cervix checking tho?

@Vlcky90 thank you. I'm going to test daily until after the weekend and hope for a darker line (unless AF shows) I was so hoping we'd be successful. I'm trying not to give up hope but feel the need to manage my expectations in reality.

Help! What is going on with my body? Its 6 weeks today since my smm. No af yet. Cramps for the last 4 days. Just now in the car I had sharp pains like to the ones I had when I miscarried (it was incomplete so still had smm) had lots of clear super stretchy cm. Like alot! But I already ovulated around 9th June. Am I ovulating again but without a period? So worried and confused!!

@Bobzybaby Thank you I'll keep you all posted. My fingers are crossed, would love it to be a red herring and to get a nice dark line with no brownish cm tomorrow but have learnt not to try and bargain with my body as it's out of my control (still pants though)

So following on from my what is happening with my body post. I did an ovulation test and theres a line? Am I ovulating now or does it need to get darker?

Ok it's gone very dark. How am I ovulating again for 2nd time since mmc without a period??

@Pancakes7 the 2nd photo of the test looks nearly positive, but it’s still negative. On OPKs the second line needs to be as dark, or darker, as the test line to count as positive! However it does look like you might be coming up to an LH surge so keep an eye on it! Xx

@SunshineSparklesSmiles I’d just compare the ones you’ve done with FMU. I’m not entirely certain but I always thought hormone levels/releases vary throughout the day.
@pancakes7 maybe you’ve gotten lucky? I had positive opks and lots of clear mucus in my last pregnancy.

Well I think that's us out this month. Was hoping we could BD tonight-timing is perfect but other half not in the mood-had a bad day at work. My opk has faded so my lh surge is ending...and I'm out tomorrow so no chance of BD tomorrow either.

Is it bad that I'm gutted. So much so I'm fighting back tears? I so wanted a BFP for my birthday.
